nice work. really keen to know more about what watches locals wear and the stories behind them.....been 28 years since my last visit to your neighborhood
Thanks for introducing us to John's watch store-- a true diamond in the rough. I wanted you to ask: 1. how does John authenticate his Rolexes, 2. the timing accuracy of each watch, and 3. does John offer his watches with boxes & papers.
@@dannysimenauer5745 He's so old school as you can see from his display etc. that I just dont know. My guess is most do t have box and papers but sone may. As far as authenticating im shure it him as he's been doing this for ever. He's really honest about the watches and if the dials have been refinished etc. so I have no concern with him at all. Really cones down to you finding what you want and at a good price for you. Thanks for watching!
For future review, there are a hndful of independent jewelry/watch outfits around Park Place. Also Lee at APR.57 has similar dedicated watch store and emporium. Pass by and see. (57&7th).
That’s how it’s done. These old school watches have been through wars, car races, fights, god knows what. A little extra handling does nothing to them.
Thanks!
Hey, thanks for that as certainly helps! Also, of course thanks for watching.!
Good honest dealer letting you know watch dial is refinished before even asking or noticing it
Yeah, better to know when buying. Thanks for watching.
Great video. So glad to see you back! Keep em coming please.
Will do and thanks for the kind words.
Great video! I want more....

Nice!
Thanks for watching.
Gonna be in NYC, why do people steer clear of 47th? Would be interested in a non Rolex fyi.
Great selection but not low prices
Agree, have to fight for pricing at most shops in nyc and lots aren't comfortable doing that. Thanks for watching.
these are really no bargains. and the way such valuable watches are thrown in that tray is a major putoff.
John looks like the CryptKeeper, and he doesn't seem to be in the mood to make any deals.
wow..... the amount of watches sold in this area that are "wrong" is Huge... they build up watches from parts, some real and many not .
Tosses around a 20k watch like he doesn’t care.
@@spamham1976 Yes, he does. Also noticed gow they are displayed. Old school I guess. Thanks for watching.

A Watch “seller” doesn’t have to be a watch enthusiast
His prices are HIGH
Shop around you can do MUCH better
