That ipad on the yoke i'm so jealous. I Learned to fly at north perry just a little north of you. And as the ipad wasnt invented yet, we had to use PAPER MAPS.

St Pete pier was really pretty especially with all the nice Christmas decorations. It was my first time there and I would go again if I could!
haha if St Pete/Clearwater is Tampa, then FT Lauderdale is Miami:) 2 different counties. If you were going to st Pete just fly into Albert Whittedd in downtown St Pete, amazing views coming in and it looks like you're landing on an aircraft carrier. I lived 5 mins from that Clearwater Airport and was born in Ft Laud and lived in Hollywood till I was 8. Keep on flying!
Haha, Tampa is just close and more recognizable 😉. Should have just flown into Whittedd knowing I was going to the peer 🤷♂️. Oh well next time I guess. Thanks for watching 😁
Bummer that this beautiful airfield has now been sold and our dream of flying there ourselves can't be realised. I don't know why the new owners wouldn't just charge a landing fee and let recreational pilots land there. It's a real shame that we just missed out on flying here.
