From what I believe, there are no true self, only the self that we believe is what seperate us from others. People faces situations in life with pretty much an endless amount of masks, some people may wear the same type, but some consider it to be their unique trait. Personally, I can be both an introverted, cunning, unpredictable yet still friendly but hard-to-be-close-to person and an extroverted, rebellious, party-hard kind of guy. Though I still believe that my introverted self is what makes me unique and embrace it as my true self, which is also the self that is more "matured". Anyways, a very nice video as always. Much obliged, Psych2Go.

Being told that "i care too much" made me question if im healthy to those around me and even myself. Now its even harder to open up to someone i love or care about and i truly think im better off not loving people for a while xd I cant approach people anymore, the thought of being to much to people is draining me in ways i didnt think it was possible.
I know it takes time to heal but i wish i'd never heard those words. Im a different, colder person now, afraid of talking and expressing myself, just like i am in my core family.

1:42 - this part when talking about emotionally distant partners definitely hits home, my own father wasn't very affectionate if anything had more abusive tendencies and the men I've dated in the past showed certain behaviours like emotionally distancing themselves or withdrawing without saying anything. My ex- tried to encourage me to seek out 'someone else' because he wasn't sure about the relationship, it also caused unnecessary tension between myself and my mum whom I'm pretty close with.
A bit random but I'd really appreciate another video about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. There's so much stigma surround ocd, and it's a really misunderstood disorder, so I'd be super cool if there were more videos about it covering the symptoms and compulsions and signs.

What should I do if I can't find and pinpoint any of my red flags? Tho tbh I feel like recent relationships have helped pick up and return the pieces of myself that I've lost in the past.

...It thaught me that relationships are traps(imo). Since 3 years of age I wasn't really trying to get to know anyone because I believed that everybody is lying to me and so I stuck with lying to other as a means of protection. I never had a romantic relationship, I have one male friend that is my friend only because he is occascionaly reaching out to me. I'm not particulary polite, talkative or positive. I tend to overstep peoples boundaries and get angry when they overstep mine... Im basiclly a 3years old bad tempered child at the age of 27. Thats what my relationships thaught me so far...
I have a question: can dark empaths/ narcissists or psychopaths also be good people if they use logic or philosophy to have empathy? Can a dark empath or a narcissist also understand the principle behind ethics even though they lack empathy?
