- Are you having a crush on someone right now and wonder if they are toxic for you? When you have feelings for someone, it’s easy to see everything they do in a positive light, but not every person you crush on is someone you should consider getting into a relationship with. For example, it is not a good idea to develop a crush on someone who treats you and other people badly. So to save you from being in a toxic relationship in the future and heartbreak, we made this video to help you identify the different types of crushes that might not be good for you.

this video really opened my eyes, I've been dating this guy for almost two months now and in the start he was super kind and sweet but it went down quickly, for example when I was texting my friend he saw that I was online and texted me asking "who are you talking with?" I would respond that I was just texting my friend but he just would say that I should be talking with him instead and that I shouldn't talk with my friend because she could possibly get me someone else and ruin our relationship. It became constant and I'm very tired of it, I cannot go online without already thinking that I will have an argument with him because I was texting someone else, then he just says it's because he's insecure and he's afraid I might cheat... @@davidthai5676 If you're at the point when you can just casually ghost people because it's too much effort for both you and the people you're ghosting, then it is likely that neither you or the people you're ghosting really care that much about each other. It's also one of my firm beliefs that you can have success without friendship or friendship without success, all of my friendships have been hollow since I moved away from home so it's a no brainer to me, almost half of my life has been spent here now so that's a lot of time to go with nothing but hollow friendships.
I honestly don't think ghosting is as cruel as people make it out to be, especially if you're not ghosting someone you're supposed to be in love with, not talking to people at all is not as bad as lying to people, I'd rather be a ghoster than a flaker.

I was the ghoster one in high school because of my low self esteem and feeling of guilt for not being on the same page. They were all great girls i "had" to let go. I thought disappearing would be the easiest way for things to take their course. I didnt want to cause them pain. I figured if i took myself out of the picture it would be easier for them to move on and find someone better. I came to peace with the idea that if they resented me afterwards at least i wouldnt be an obstacle for them to overcome. I even was at a constant battle with my self for having my own crush. My heart and mind were at a constant clash. I had feelings i never asked for and didnt want, because i knew i wasnt ready and needed to work on myself. Crazy how that works... i knew my only out of that hole was to be rejected by her. So i asked her to reject me even if it was a lie. To my dismay...she didnt. They say time heals all wounds. I guess that came to be. Present day, i havent crushed in years... sometimes i wonder if that will ever happen again.
Because of the fact that i know the mess i am... i cant say i regret the outcome. Its only logical all of those wonderful people are doing well for themselves without me nowadays. I wasnt worth the trouble. But now i know theres other ways to go about it. Communication goes a long way.

You’ve been through a lot. Honestly I have a crush on a guy who ghosts me too. Like he is a super nice person and when we see each other it’s only for a few seconds but it makes my day seem brighter. But whenever I text him he only replies after hours and says he was busy with homework. I mean it’s okay but there are sometimes his texts are just dry like “K” or he says “sleepy, bye”. Dont confuse the "isolator" with someone who just has your best interests in mind. Just like with a partner, others can see how bad people are for you, even if they are friends or family. Dont believe someone is toxic just because they want to separate you from the bad people in your life that you're oblivious to.

I watched this as someone who has just gotten over a crush, and it wasn't the crush who was toxic, it was the people who supported our relationship. They tried to push us together too fast, and pressured us into doing things we didn't want to do to the point that we pretended we had done them already. It got to the point where I had to tell the crush that I wasn't looking for a relationship right now, and now my friends don't talk about us.
Oof, I'm really sorry to hear that. All of that outside attention and pressure must have been stressful to deal with as it built up. I wish that people as well as society as a whole could learn to respect such boundaries, because dating someone or not dating someone is very rarely if ever any third party's business, and it's not fair to the individuals who get caught up in all of that social pressure. I've had my fair share of being pressured into things I was not comfortable or ready for and had to deal with the anxiety that followed, so I know how it feels, though I've thankfully gotten better at standing up for myself and holding true to my boundaries because of those experiences. I once had a crush who would "play rough" with me by kicking me at the lockers with their pals. I never thought of it as abusive or toxic even when it seriously hurt at times and he wouldn't help or apologize. My crush was just way too big for me to see the bad in it. It was like a blindfold. But when my friends noticed and could see the toxic behaviour, they openned my eyes to the truth and I started backing away from him. I'm now in a happy and healthy relationship with a guy who knows my limits and respects them. I used to be the bully and somehow pulled an amazing girl to be my partner. Though, probably a month after we started dating she broke up with me. While she said it wasn't my attitude towards others (I had a HUGE soft spot for her), I can't help but feel that it was. The breakup left me devastated and took me a while afterwards to realize my bullying made me very unattractive, but when I did, it really humbled me. I stopped being mean to others and became friends with my ex, which I still am today! I still hate that I lost her.

This is a very informative video, cause some people don’t know what their crush could be doing wrong. They only think of their crush as being this amazing person, that hasn’t don’t anything wrong, or maybe that it’s themselves that are in the wrong.
I had a crush on this boy in middle school, and he was a ‘User’. I didn’t really think of it as anything, and thought he would like me by letting him use me, but at one point he went too far. I ran to the schools bathroom and cried so much that day. I told a girl who kept asking me what was wrong, and she wrote it down on a paper and gave it to the teacher. It’s been years since that happened, but its left a scar on me.
For a long time, I thought it was my fault for being so weak, since I was already getting pushed around by others during my time in middle school. But now when I think back on it, I’m just mad at all those people, especially him, cause it’s been tough for me after that, and trying to be more positive towards myself. So please, be carful and watch out for yourselves.
