    The Vulcan 900 is my dream bike. Such an amazing , now legendary bike that requires Gas, Oil, and Smiles.

    I was a Harley owner for three years. I bought an Electra Glide Ultra Classic just to see what all the fuss was about. I liked it, it was a surprisingly well made modern antique. I kept it stock, and my neighbors were really happy when I sold it and got back on a Kawasaki. I's a sport bike, but I'm seriously looking at a Vulcan. Seems like such a friendly ride for easy light touring. Thanks for the video. Your mods look great.

    Just got off a 5,000 bike rally. I counted about 5 metrics's there as i walked line to line to check out the rides. Everybody was cool. Always felt more like a rebel when everyone else conforms to 1 brand

    the last one that called the marauder a girls bike saw nuthin but tail lights after his remark. he was on a 99 dyna with s&s engine. he claimed 105 hp and 140 torque. buuuut Marauder weighs almost half and is quite snappy as it isn't stock either.
    nice 900 you got there.

    Enjoyed the video. I just bought a 21 Vulcan 900 Classic and absolutely love it. Wanted the feel of a Harley without the Harley price lol. One question for you. Where do you have your phone plugged up? I need to get a handlebar mount for my phone and didn't know I could charge it lol. Thanks for sharing and stay safe!

      I'm running a usb charger straight off the battery and Motopower is the brand. I sat on a 2021 900 classic not to long ago and was extremely impressed with the seat. Way better than my 2012 stock seat

      @@myfriendsgarage5895 cool, cool 😎 This is actually my first bike I've ever bought. Last time I've ridden a bike is when I was a young teenager on a dirt bike or riding on the back with my dad. I'm inexperienced, but taking baby steps in learning. Ultimately, I didn't want to start with something too small like a Honda Rebel, or something as large as a Roadking. Being 5 10 about 230 lbs I settled on the Vulcan 900. Figured it was middle of the road as far as weight.

      You made a good choice. This is coming from a man who owns a 2020 Low Rider S. Great bikes, no better than my old Vulcan 900 though. I'll hang onto it a bit and probably get another Vulcan 900 tbh. Maybe the Vaquero if I'm feeling like an old enough man lol

      Though I should say, if you're a fan of really customizing your bike then Harley is the way to go. You can customize anything, but with Harleys you really don't have to fab up anything since basically everyone sells anything you could ever need for them lol

      @@BloodPlusPwn I will one day own a harley just can't afford it right now due to life. When the time comes though I'm pretty torn between the road king and road glide but maybe something in the softail lineup (deluxe) is where I end up.

    Yeah I'm pretty much the same guy whether I'm riding my Street Glide or my Vulcan 900 LT. Don't need to play Billy Badass when I'm on the Harley.

    I rode my 750 ace back in the day during the summer on a road trip to Vegas from so cal with my bros one had bagger HD new and the other a Venture my wife and I were 2up the HD couple were 2up and Venure solo what we saw going there and back HDs broken down probably from the heat, liquid cool 750 ACE on the hills killed my bro’s HD I thought he was kidding around he says he had it pinned back the lil shadow blew past them up and back over 500 miles I hate that sold that bike all these years later. But now I’m back in the market and this Kawasaki 900 has me very interested for a variety of reasons my top reason I can leave on the street overnight and it won’t get stolen, it’s the very definition of bang for the buck, it won’t overheat leaving you stuck, it looks great, low maintenance very affordable, can be taken on the highway or cruise around town oh and it’s not 800 900 lbs also a conversation starter a lot HD guys have plenty to say one way or the other mostly I used to hear I have metric daily driver and cruise on my HD on the weekends which is ok….lol. I want a great bike for a great price that doesn’t attract the wrong crowd. I’ve been to bike nights and there’s a great mix of different brands and most riders just want to hit the road and get back to do it again looking good and making lots of noise is cool but my neighbor has a HD loud n proud and he gets the evil eye not interested in pissing people off I enjoyed the video keep it up to hell with those haters

    • @AshmeedMohamed
      @AshmeedMohamed 2 роки тому

      Hi I'm new to riding and I like the vulcan 900 as well. Why are they less likely to be stolen? Is it because harleys are more expensive and thus more often stolen?

  • @killernanny4315

    I have ridden with lots of Harley guys by now (I'm on an Indian!) and I can't remember any of them giving the metric guys any shit. I think the crowd that would actually care has either died off or has stopped riding due to old age.

    and
    those mirrors! are they off the Hubble telescope??

    • @kingkrimson8771
      @kingkrimson8771 2 роки тому

      Laugh at the mirrors all you want but they actually work, something that can't be said about a lot of motorcycle mirrors. Many of them I get a great view of my shoulders and not much else.

    Don’t waste your money on a Harley 😂😂😂😂😂😂 … I sold both mine ! … I went back to metrics …. Harley’s are so expensive and they just don’t perform well unless you’ve dumped a lot of money in them … I know ….. I’m a big fan of your Kawasaki… great price and very reliable… and that’s perfect

    Wheelies is not something like witches hats in the carpark that everybody should learn. They're a dangerous stunt and only unhinged people do it because you WILL come off, wreck your bike and hurt yourself at some point in the "practice". Stick to your Vulcan and keep both wheels planted.

  • @KevinFreist
    @KevinFreist 3 роки тому +3

    they didn't poke fun at it in front of you guys! lol!
    naw! for real. it doesn't matter who makes what you ride. in my opinion , some of the over the top harly guys are the ones to laugh at. they spent too much to ride same road you are on. i get American pride but im pragmatic and have other responsibilities so bike budget has a limit .unfortunately that puts about any harley out of reach.
    it's ok , i have rebuilt just about everything and it is a real frankenstein ride. but it is f'n awesome .i ride with harley guys all the time and have no probs.
    i ride a vulcan 800 from 1995. also ride a suzuki marauder from 1997.
    my vulcan sounds like a big twin cam with the tuning and exhaust.

    Grow up,why abuse a beautiful bike like that. We all did that when we was kids but I make it a point to try to keep both wheels on the ground. I love my bike and thank god ,knock on wood it still looks good. Hope it stays that way. RIDE SAFE!!!!! Have a blessed day.

    Making fun of someone else's ride says more about them instead of you.
