I have got US B1/B2 non immigrant visa without interview. My application DS 160 was 100% perfect. I never was interviewed in last 50 years. I got visa renewed from Mumbai (I live in Delhi). Only last week. No biometric was done. It was based on my education, global experience. By the way, I travelled all over the world. Possibly, my visa is granted based on my wife who is a US PR.

Once 10 year multiple visa is issued your are no longer supposed to go for interview everytime before visiting to USA.

I got my visa withing 39 days of application. I first apply almost 2 years from portal and i got frustrated. This like is good to share your problems most time. I went to Apollo hospital and was just discussing the visa then the Madam recommended me to an immigration officer. When i chat her she told me to reapply that most old files don't have future. I did and me and my Husband got our spouse visa.
Go and reapply instead of waiting for the old files.
