There is no way on earth that i would sell a 911s to buy a Lambo, but that is just me..I'm a Porsche guy! And that mustang was pretty sweet!

I would’ve kept the 911S only because to bring back a car like that the way John did it is so gratifying for a person like me

Damn, that's a good story… and close to home for me too. Jealous. Although, I would have kept the 911S. 😏

lambo or 911 isn't even a question for me. 911, hands down. Lambos don't excite me. I see them everywhere. Car shows, driving around, online, etc... You don't see early 911's much at all. They have TONS of character, whereas the lambo has almost none. This is all IMO, though.

have you been to stuttgart or munich yet? There is a reason they call the 911 the "munich golf"

The justification for getting rid of the 911 is perfect “because it had reached the the price it was going to go and not go much more and the merci was just starting out!” Just own up to it the merci was the better car to have, more of the picture on the wall car!

Dementia is a horrible disease. Id like to see this guy in his prime was probably a force of a car dude. Hate to see it run its course but glad you were able to save this mans prized collection to live on and not die slowly in part of the mountains like the guy did. Great story
