Such a great story that gets better with each telling. Glad it led to a long-term sponsor and Premier will be the first I call when I find my dream Porsche.
Another great story. What blows my mind, as a business owner myself, is how Manhatten Leasing would ever think that not paying you what they promised would work out well for them?! Probably one of the stupidest decisions someone could make, businesswise and ethically!
Not only was that a beautifully timed placement of an advertisement, it really does bring a smile seeing Ed get to deliver such a professional execution of the middle finger to a dishonest company!
What a story. Thanks for filling in some of the blanks from the originals. Side note: Ed, I read your book in two sittings and absolutely loved it. Thanks for a great read.
One of Ed's best videos - Ed could sell water to a fish. This entire situation is a testament to his investigative skills, benefits of having lots of connections, and the utility of the VINWiki app. Getting closure to this story 4 years later was a nice surprise!
So it took you what probably seemed like a few days to track this person down but the cops couldn’t find any info out? Dang when Ed wants a car he really wants it 😂
I bet whoever "the boss" was in this story was pissed at his lackie letting Ed in the door. Also, smart criminal is smart, I kinda have some respect for that.
@@elmayimbe_the_amateur_mechanic Ed’s pronounciation of Murciélago is incorrect. It’s a Spanish word (like many Lambos) and the correct pronounciation is something like muur-fii-eh-lago (there is no ‘s’ sound). But basically nobody pronounces this correctly (even though they make the effort for others like the Gallardo), so whatever I guess.
Great story and followup story, thank you for sharing it, you did a good thing recovering these two cars and all the other criminal things recovered. Sad the bad guy got off on a technicality, the bad guy was pathetic but "smart" on how he stored the cars and other stuff at a separated address them how you enter the space.
Ed, I was quite impressed with your investigative acumen in the first installment of this story. I must say however, the skill and grace you’ve demonstrated here in acquitting yourself is exceedingly brilliant! “…Them relying on what I told them, is what got this guy off.”
I rarely watch every video to the end that a channel posts. Except for VINwiki. Once I start one of their videos, I watch it until the very end. No exceptions.
Is there anything new coming to the app or anything? Or are you doing just youtube now? I see the app hasnt been updated in almost two years... with no updates for so long, the rankings go down... I tried it a few years ago and was kind of buggy, Trying again to see if anything has changed. Either way, Love the channel.
It's really cool that Premier stepped up to the plate the way they did. The best part of owning either of those cars would be the story. I would be super proud of it and be telling everyone lol.
The guy should have thanked you for doing it; because he’s now off the hook, and no longer needing to look over his shoulder every time he drove those cars.
That was, in fact, the smoothest transition into an ad OF ALL TIME
LOL I said that too
Agreed lol
was comenting that with my gf just after finishing the video... Smooth af
I was browsing the comments listening to it wondering where the ad read was and then BOOM at the end. That was smoooooth.
Exactly lol
Well Manhattan leasing is probably thinking that was the worst 5k not spent ever. Lol
I sure would have loved to buy that Superleggera! And, of course, don't use Manhattan Leasing.
All is fair, in Love and War.......and exotic car financing!
You definitely should be a detective for exotic car thefts.
Good to see it was serviced 6/23/2020 at Lamborghini of broward. Would hate to know what that maintenance bill was lol!
Indeed Ed, Manhattan Leasing have clearly shot themselves in the foot. lol 😂
Liking because of the roast
If they don't honor their word I can't expect them to honor their business
Smoothest segue to a sponsor I've ever seen, coupled with the most fitting sponsor for a video I've ever seen.
And every time they said they would give us money… They have.
The real crime here is, Ed not getting his 5K finders fee from Manhattan Leasing!👍👍
Right!?
Yeah, but he got a nice deal with Premier out of it :)
@@davidhardinge2310 Yes Indeed 👍
Manhattan Leasing might have saved $5k, but the damage Ed just did, boom! Karma is a bitch.
Fact. Shady as fuck. No integrity.
Damn. Imagine riding around in a stolen car for years and this one guy takes a picture of the vin and it brings the whole thing down.
Imagine being the level of narc he is
@@stefanfreestylez Thieves fuck everyone around them. It's not a narc for someone's personal property.

“He’s out”
Excuse the hell out of me?
Great story again, Ty.
Premier coming in with the clutch advertising “we’d like to do the opposite!” That’s hilarious
I've been watching Vin wiki for a couple of years, and that story of the 2 stolen lamborghini's is one of the best i've heard.
All stories pale in comparison to "Kimi, do you have butt implants?"
“ and every time THEY said they would send us money… They have.”🤣🤣🤣 I totally lost it at that point! Lol
Ed: I found stolen lambos!
Police: Hey, that guy is out.
Ed: *surprised pikachu face*
🤣😂🤣😂
*laughs in memes"
That segue to Premier Financial was legendary 😂
Segue, not segway.
So smooth
It would have been just as smooth if this episode was sponsored by Manscape’s Lawnmower 4.0.
@@TravelingStacker I genuinely did not know it was spelled that way, thank you!
@@cubanian385 I get a lot of people with that one. Glad to have helped.
Right after "He's out" I got hit with a USAA life insurance ad.
Well played, USAA, well played
The sequel we didn't deserve: Stolen Lamborghinis 2: The Bolian Espionage
Lol
Ed getting people arrested and released without even trying
Ed said he got the guy out of trouble. Ed also lost the guy millions in drugs and weapons. Oops.
If it would have been our government cars etc Ed would have suicided
Such a great story that gets better with each telling. Glad it led to a long-term sponsor and Premier will be the first I call when I find my dream Porsche.

Alternate title: Man creates entire app trying to get better deals on supercars.
Not only was that a beautifully timed placement of an advertisement, it really does bring a smile seeing Ed get to deliver such a professional execution of the middle finger to a dishonest company!

Really smooth transition into a Premier plug at the end, good job Ed!
Thanks!
love how Ed's priority for this stolen lambo is:
1)hope to own it cheaply
2)great story for app
3)justice for car thieves
You have the most insane luck with these situations. I LOVE these stories
Car is back up for sale if anyone noticed. No mention of the history in the online ads
Good wrap up Ed. Even better was your shift into the Premier Financial spot!
Cheers 🇨🇦
The body vin is under the passenger side carpet. Always check it. I found a gallardo that the body vin under the carpet didn’t match the dash vin
I could care less about these types of cars but I can listen to Ed all day tells a great story with lots of details. Thumbs up like the content
Same. Not a car person, just love the stories.
One of the stories that really got me into VINwiki and so cool to hear it again but with much more info!
So it took you what probably seemed like a few days to track this person down but the cops couldn’t find any info out? Dang when Ed wants a car he really wants it 😂
moral of the story: send Ed money.
What shocked me most about this video wasn't how the thieves managed to get away with it, it's how smooth that ad came in at the end.
the first version of the story was pretty entertaining but this version is next level!!! nice job Ed
Thank you for further proving that covering the VIN plate in the window is a good idea.
I bet whoever "the boss" was in this story was pissed at his lackie letting Ed in the door. Also, smart criminal is smart, I kinda have some respect for that.
Good morning. This was great the first time around…now with bonus features!
Best Segway into a sponsorship I’ve ever heard!
The absolute smoothness ed has in working In adds is just an art.
Ed's top shelf finest. Right through our earholes into our hearts
Ed has mastered the art of sales and advertising.
This is the update i didn't know i needed.
Damn, Premier really knows good marketing opportunity when they see it.
Great fallow up hope to hear more updated stories from you older ones
Only Ed can do a commercial for a sponsor and make it fun to watch!
Great Work Detective Ed👍🏽
4:53 to quote Ed from a different video, “I have an app for that!”
Ed that ad has me dying. Just as good as the crazy story. One of your best vids by far.
Great story! I wish you would have been able to buy one of the cars after all of your work.
So do I. Would have been great cars to own.
Damn! Every Ed Bolian story is a great story!
The Ole hallway address change-o. Another one of the classic blunders!
“Every time they said they would send me money, they have!” lol.
Anyone notice how Ed kinda glossed over the "shrewd negotiations" with the tag lady? 🤔
Even Ed has limits and he's married.
@@danmacgowan8242 you're probably right. It is unwise to test your shrewd negotiation skills in divorce court.

"lajjerah" always will be
F..k yeah, thanks for the update Ed, great story, Rj in Oz

Officer Ed Bolian reporting for duty 😂😂😂
So... Did Ed Bolian just leak the plot of Fast & Furious 10?
That slide into the Premier spot was so perfectly Ed-smooth that I actually turned off SponsorBlock to go back and listen to the whole ad. Amazing.
One of your best stories without question!
Slickest ad placement ever!
‘And every time they’ve said they’d send us money they have!” -credits. This is the petty ending we needed
Even better story the 2nd time.
Thanks for all the good work.
Ed, I was quite impressed with your investigative acumen in the first installment of this story. I must say however, the skill and grace you’ve demonstrated here in acquitting yourself is exceedingly brilliant!

this video sounds a lot less like Ed retelling the story and a lot more like Ed begging not to get shot. Love you Ed
Those were my thoughts exactly lol
Ed “I offered them $45k and they didn’t take the deal” whoa 😶. He is human…
Man that's a lot of commercials, but still worth it.
Also never use Manhattan Leasing, never trust a company that won't uphold their word
I just wanna say i never used the vinwiki platform but I definitely love all the videos and storys yall tell keep it up
The transition to the ad read was smooth.
Imagine enthusiastically walking into a potentially life-threatening situation for a Gallardo...
🤣🤣🤣
I enjoyed hearing the crazy antics around the life of these 2 beautiful cars.
This has got to be the best story, despite no revenge plot.

Awesome story, Ed! I especially enjoyed the way you ended this one LMAO
I spoke to you about a Murci in Cobb, we use that app frequently now. Your knowledge is invaluable. I’ll have your back anytime Ed.
I will never get tired of getting fooled/pushed into an ad by Ed
Lowkey him telling the story on UA-cam is keeping him safe kinda a smart move

Ed.. the human kill screen of “silver linings”
The VIN always hinges on the check digit, also know the build sequences on the car(s) you're obsessed with. Great story!
Ed is so good with words that he made me watch an 18 minute advertisement without hesitation
That was an amazing Segway into the ad of this video 😂
flipping great segway to close off without missing a beat
Huracan wheels on the gallardo go so good it looks like a crazy edition superlagera
v2 of this story proves just how shrude ed actually is! awesome update on a classic vinwiki story!
