I love the blue plaque spotting. That is a lovely memory for me. I think its really important that you and your husband have time alone together. Minnie Emma will always be so important but ( without making you cry) in a blink of an eye she will be ready for her own adventures and journey. Then it will just be you and your husband together for the majority of the time. Nurturing that relationship is important.
@@LV-Frankie we talked about this and what a big shock it must be to people, we had nearly 10 years married before her but it will be such a change when she goes to university. Best the years slow down 😍
I think my most favorite types of decluttering areas are specific themes.... like Pantry, Bathroom drawers and cabinets, your bedroom drawers, kitchen drawers, etc.. I seem to do those much easier vs clothes, coats, junk drawers, et... I get discouraged quickly. 😮😅❤🎉😂
Hi Emma ! Our local Chinese takeaway do pineapple fritters . Our speciality in the north west of England is Mushy peas & Gravy 👌. The only place I’ve heard of fried Mars bar is up in Scotland ? They fry lots of different foods up in the highlands ! Thanks so much for sharing your get away . Looked a peaceful couple of day ! Just what the doctor ordered aye 👍☺️! Poor Minnie Emma falling in the river , must have been a shock 😱. Autumnal hugs for Minnie Emma and love to you all 🦔🍂🦔🍂🦔🍂🦔🍂🦔🍂🦔🍂🦔
Hi enjoy your videos just a small suggestion about your pantry my mother in law couldn’t drill into her walls so she used shelving use for a garage it gave her so much room also can you put a coat stand in the hallway with one coat each on ❤
By the way, do you have the charity drop off containers in supermarket carparks ? we have them here in lots of places too library carpark even some pub carparks etc, the charities collect it when full and anything they don't sell they recycle them as rags, some charity bins are not just for clothes but brick a brack too, maybe it's something local to us?
I had to look up how to make pineapple fritters. Seem simple enough that you could make them at home maybe? Here in Minnesota, we have apple fritters. I don't know if it's German or not but my German grandmother made apple fritters quite often. Also had to look up whitebait and it sounds similar to the smelt that people trap early in the spring/late winter. It used to be quite popular, but I don't know if many people do it anymore. They would have smelt fries at different bars/pubs or even church events. I love fish but I never could get past eating the head, bones and innards. Just the thought kept me from eating them. I was always going to suggest getting a cupboard or wardrobe for your hallway. I think the one in the playroom is way too big. You need something a little more streamline and it could hold coats, hats, scarves, boots, bags etc. I think you would love it. I'm inclined to think Ikea could have the perfect item for this cause.
I’m from Norfolk ❤ just found your channel where did you visit in Norfolk ? We love Woodbridge . Next time you visit Suffolk make sure to visit Southwold if you didn’t on this trip . I'm from up North (near Newcastle) and I've never heard of a pineapple fritter before. But I think I'd quite like one! I don't eat fish or sausages so normally I only get chips (with mushy peas), so I'd definitely give a pineapple a go! Do you dip it in any kind of sauce?
