Mikey pipes. You need the rigid c1 jaws which work on a m12 press tool. Allows you to get in those tight spaces with press. Rigid 28043. They work with m12 press I see monstah plumbing using them all the time.

@@Ariel1S typically yes but you can patch a leak or a hole without in this case its in a wall it was a good move to cut it and replace it

At 12:56-13:11 I can see a drip in the wall cavity, if you look closely at the gap between the bottom of the shower body and the wall you can see it. From the angle I can’t tell if that’s coming from above or the hot water connection on the shower body.
Love that you engaged the customer with way and didn't mind them watching and even helping! That's the mark of someone who is really skilled in what they do, they don't mind people watching because they are comfortable with how good of a job they'll do!
I would have liked to watch you remove the propress fitting and sweat the other one. Were you not able to record it?
Also, use grey PTFE instead of blue on the customer visible parts, or leave a little tail and use that to peel away the exposed part.

You should've just have done the hack I saw a couple days ago. Someone decided to solder a propress fitting.
Mikey the Milwaukee 3" cut off tool works really good for cutting shower valves in tile, kit comes with diamond wheel and guard with vacuum dust port.

Why did you even replace the valve body? You could have just replaced the trim. If the cartridge was bad, you could have replaced that as well. The only difference between the two valve bodies is, the old one didn’t have stops and the new one did.

I was worried it would leak on you since you soldered after you installed the Viega pro press fitting. The heat probably melted the o ring inside the Viega adapter.

Why do you use a B tank when you soldering why don't you use a map gas? Just curious. Map gas tank would lighter to carry
