I have all the LABS instruments, and i love them all!! Original, misterious, unique, some ones seem to be alive with some noises in the background. Really useful and original sounds!!
Thank you for the recommendations! They all sound fantastic.
Another great video! I was just about to play with some strings on a couple of songs. I’ll definitely give a go on these! Cheers
Thank you so much. I got the Spitfire soft piano on my PC. Had a piano based song already laid out in MIDI, took my stock piano out and dropped the Spitfire in, it went from stiff and tinny to warm and lush just like that. Can't say thanks enough.
So many gems here! As a broke recording arts student, THANK YOU!
Hey didn’t know watch this guy too lol 😭🙌🏾
As an already money-bled-amateur... I curse I bought some fraking expensive crap before checking this out. 😫😣
You act like recording artists ever have money lol You should know better bro.
@@littlehollow recording arts students have even less money 😅
@@izkray xD
Excellent video. Love how short and sweet each demonstration is. Thank you!
Thank you so much for making this video! I cannot express how amazed I am with the Spitfire LABS instruments!! These are absolutely amazing and I would have never heard of this company if it wasn't for this video. I'll definitely consider purchasing their products in the future :) Also happy about their BBC Orchestra.
Best video I have found over the last week or so. Getting back into music after about 20 years. Was going with garage band on a hackintosh but wanted to use pc with soundbridge. These instruments are awesome. Thank you
All of these look and sound great! Thanks for making this video, it was really straightforward and showed off a great verity of sounds.
That Spitfire Labs plugin is amazing! That piano sounds incredible!
Thank you for making a VST Instrument list that isn't solely Synths! A lot of UA-camrs seem to cover only the synth stuff, appreciate it.
I usually skip "free plugin" videos because I usually already know about them all... but i didn't know about surge. That first sound that you used as an example was so beautiful to me. Thanks for sharing!
You might like ZynAddSubFX, its a free synth that nobody really talks about, but its also FOSS like Surge is and it sounds absolutely amazing! A lot of people are really intimidated by the old, cluttered looking UI, but I assure you its really intuitive. And if you're already seasoned with synthesis you shouldn't have any problem!
You can get the classic (unofficial) vst here zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.io
It's one of my go-to synths along with surge, and they both compliment each other's features.
Unless they are free to download right away without making tons of new accounts on every site, they are always worth to try.
Though basic GarageBand instruments on iPad can sound just as good with right settings. I found myself using less and less plugins in last years.
What wud u say is the best for a backing track of a trap song? Like the chords before the melody..is it synth or strings?
Surge XT and VITAL are all you need in free synths
Love the quality work , this video is exactly what I needed !!! Thanks
Thanks a lot bro ! Now i can make even more cool retrowave and synthwaves !
That's so dope of you to showcase all these free apps man. Thanks dude.

This stuff is awesome, thank you so much!
I've gone through this video a couple of times now to see what I might like to add to my kit and every time it gets to the "Spitfire Labs, it slaps" bit I laugh out loud. Thank you for that!
This was so helpful. I'm a pretty old school recording nut, and have always used hands-on real instruments. This makes being able tho record anywhere at any time. I'm primarily a acoustic singer song writer. The drums and keys would workshop great. Thanks a bunch
after downloading the first of the plugins, I started literally jumping on my chair after listening to the samples. Holy Cow, this feels like Christmas!!! I am a little boy once again opening presents again!!! Thank you very much!!!

Magnificent sounds 🎶
Three great things to start a video with: 1. free stuff, 2. A great synth and 3.eric satie 🔥
Great list I have a list of about 10 others also (Thunder X3M Taiko, The Alpine Project, 8Dio On The House series, ProjectSAM, etc.). So many free quality stuff out there (and let’s not even talk about free iOS music apps). What a time to be alive!
I will get myself some synths! Really impressive stuff
Thank you much for your video!!!!!!!!!
Great vid! Subscribed!
amazing..... Thank you
I love you thanks for this about to download most of these
Awesome bro
Thats so awesome! Thanks for this information!
Our pleasure!
Thank you! :)
Spitfire audio seem amazing - I had no idea they had a free version of anything!
@Google is literally the worst I just downloaded them! Already very impressed!
Those are not free versions in that sense. They are free samples if you will. They come from their big instruments VSTs.
Also look at BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover. Free if you wait 2 weeks or $50.
i can't find anything free in spitfire except for demo?
@@Ullish1989 There is a tab called LABS. With their app, you can download all of the instruments in the LABS tab for free.
Thanks friend !
AMAZING!!!!
