I kept nodding, smiling and making sounds of agreement a lot through the video, I adore how you guys picked up even the littlest of details (and took many notes, haha!). I enjoy the way you two explain your review by sections while chatting at the same time. When my sister and I went to see it in theaters, luckily, we had the whole cinema room for just the two of us. So we allowed some of our live reactions to be loud and commented briefly on certain scenes. That was a nice experience.
I loved when jax got his arms in this love it was more emotional. And kano's eye was cool, yea it would've been cool to have cybernetic parts too but I can except change.

spoilers! i saw the movie on Friday night and when watching i have low expectations really because didn't wanna get too overhyped and be disappointed about the outcome. it was a good movie. 7/10 for me. what i love the most in this was the fight cinematography and the gore are amazing! for characters that i like the most is bi han. every time he showed up, got pretty excited and his fight moves were freaking amazing and so powerful. he is creepy also xD kano was funny, really enjoyed seeing the character being that funny so it doesn't feel so serious all the time. kung lao is amazing, better than lui kang in my opinion but sad that he got killed, so is he gonna come back for the sequel or no? because that would be suck if kung lao isn't back because he's an og character. raiden's character feel bland for real. other than that the story was alright. it is interesting that they wanted to do the characters finding their own arcana but the way it presented feels doesn't fit at all. and yes everything was so rushed i got lost often xD imo the movie is short and the villain characters felt a bit wasted especially nitara because all of them got killed i mean i get that because they wanted to show the fatalities but idk how to explain xD and i thought there's gonna be more scorpion scene instead of just seeing him once like the end. wish there's more screen time of scorpion but overall it is fun to watch especially the fight scenes :D

This movie was freaking awesome. The action, the sets, the little easter eggs, and the brutal fatalities oh those were the best. Kano is probably my favorite character in the movie because he gets roasted on a lot. Favorite fights are both scorpion vs sub zero. And the best fatality goes to Cole on goro

Am I the only one who LOVED the fact that Reptile was more reptile looking than a weird green human with a smashed reptile face? All I wished is that he wasn't naked tho. I wish he had the outfit from Legends: Scorpion's Revenge, Reptile looked sick and perfect there. Just bring back Reptile in the sequel and give him a ninja suit or armor :D
See heres the thing reptile does have that lizard form....when he has no master. If they give him the clothes in the sequel theyde be backstepping his character history

Honestly, I had low expectations for the movie, because of the other Mortal Kombat movies I've seen, but I absolutely loved it! My only critique: needs more Scorpion.
I think the casting for scorpion and sub zero were perfect, I would give this movie 9.78 out of 10 and actor for sub zero Joe Taslim said that there are going to make a sequel of 4 movies
id give it an 8 or an 8.5 out of 10 fire and ice dragons., me and my gf were watching the movie together and im so glad that i got my gf into mortal kombat now because now i get to share what i love with her. but yea 8.5. Fight scenes were amazing, effects, costumes and setting were awesome. I do kinda agree with you guys about the runtime being too short and not many characters, but i can also see why they didnt because they did kinda want to be as faithful to the first mortal kombat game since that game only had 7 playable characters(of course Nitara, kabal, mileena and reiko and cole himself) being the exceptions. and i also after watching this movie i wounded up with 2 theories about cole but both dont really make much sense. 1st theory i thought of came from at the end when he says hes going to hollywood and it shows the johnny poster. I for some reason thought that he was going to star in movies and Johnny Cage would be a nickname that would be given to him(now i realize thats not good) and 2nd theory i thought of is since cole is Scorpions decendant, i thought that maybe he would actually be training under the shirai ryu, and for some reason changes his name to Takeda. but again i dont think thats a good theory, but aside from that THIS IS THE MORTAL KOMBAT MOVIE, FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!!!

That moment when you can't choose between Scorpion and Sub-Zero just because they made Sub-Zero really kool. I kould say many things about him. This one is Egh as a fan deeply disappointed. Besides the fights and gore the lore got screwy. And they messed up some character designs kanos eye nuff said. And pretty sure the ending shouldnt have happened pretty sure raiden had the right to fry shang tsung for breaking some rules. And Cole felt like Alice from resident evil an unneeded add on that kinda overshadowed the classics anyway yeah that's my take 90s version did more justice

Personally Kano, Sub Zero and Kung Lao were the best in the movie. I would say Scorpion too but I didn't see him that much.

I'd say the 1995 reptile was more Reptile than 2021 "reptile" was
