Thanks Lorrie, hope you all are doing well 😀 I’m having a great day feel the best I have yet. Going to paint a bit later if still feeling like this! 😀🥰
That's a really pretty one. It's so mesmerizing to watch you dotting. Wondered what the hole was for, & saw under the video why. Lol. Thank you for sharing. Take care & stay safe everybody. ❤🙂🐶
Nice work, Sue ! I made your pretty in pink design my first time out. Came out very nice, despite the fact that somewhere along the line , I wound up with an uneven number of dots in one of the first courses of dots. I recovered, and I think I'm the only one who will notice ! Live and learn. I have three other blanks to work on that I've already base coated. Nice to see a base coat other than black ! I've put this on my list ! Love the pattern and color scheme. Thank you !
Hi Paul, thanks for commenting. I always count as I go around dotting and make sure I end up on an even number. Just when you get down to the last 3 or 4 dots start adjusting the spacing so its not so obvious. Or you can always adjust in the next row if there are multiple rows. Glad you were able to adjust it. :) Glad you like this color background I try to switch it up from time to time.
Thank you Sue for posting all these videos. I have always loved making crafts and painting and because of your instructional videos I am now enjoying making these beautiful tea lights as gifts for Christmas. thank you for your patience and passion.
Beautiful. I just ordered this mold and cant wait to do this project. Mike I know this is such a hard time for you and your family. Thank you for keeping Sue's channel going. She will be missed by so many people.
I use art resin and never had an issue. They make other resins that are made to take direct heat but with the tea light the candle flame is really in the center of the opening and up. It doesn’t touch the sides at all. This has been fine, you can use it for coasters with a hot mug but you can’t use it on something like incense burner because that would be direct flame. I usually leave the hole that the tea candle sets in unsealed just for precaution but resin the rest. You do not see that part with the candle in anyways.
Finally a video without swooshes but just great dotting!
This is so soothing to eyes
The best tutorial I have seen and I've seen many! Thank you!

Very pretty. What did you seal it with that can take the heat of the candle?
