  • Bose L1 Pro16 System Roller Bag Review. Well...not so much a review as an overview so you can actually see how it works and fits things. Since nobody else did one, I figured it was our turn. Clearly not a professional UA-camr but I think you'll get the idea.

    Because of your video I broke down and bought this roller bag and got it this week. Yes it is expensive but if you can win the lottery and afford this it will meet a lot of needs and make your gigging manageable. First impression was…WOW this is big and WOW this is a nice looking and sturdy bag. Then I started packing it with the system and my essential cables and mics….everything that I would need on my gigs minus my instruments of course, and WOW!!! Everything fits in this one bag. I had everything in One trip to my gig yesterday it was awesome! I put a mic stand, music stand, mic, cables, power strip and extension chord and mixer. It was heavy but everything was easily in one place. This was so nice. It will keep my life simple. Thank you Bose or whoever designed this. Other than buying the system this was second best investment that I have made. 🙂🤗

      Glad it worked out for you. It’s definitely a trade off with weight versus having thirty hands, but for me, it’s been worth it so far and I’m glad you feel the same! Be well Tim.

    The shelf that folds down is designed to travel extended. You put the pouch and whatever else you want to throw on top of the cab on the fold down padded shelf and it isolates the top of the cab from any scratches. It zips up perfectly while extended in the down position. I was making several trips on a load because I was too cheap to buy this for the price. A friend came for a lesson and viola. He gifted me with the thing. If I had known how easy it would have made my life I would have splurged. It's a quality accessory. Good vid, BTW. I wasn't sure if the extension went in the other side or squeezed next to the column. Thank you.

    Wow what an awesome review of the bag!!! I just bought the L1 Pro 16 with this bag, but the bag was back ordered so I have to wait. Gosh after seeing your review I so wish I had this bag last weekend as I had to carry the new system to my gig and it was tricky to take it in my car as I was worried it would roll over. Now I can’t wait for my bag, it will make a huge difference for my future events. Thank you so much for making this video, so useful!!!

    Holy shit, this video just SOLD me... I literally just got off the phone with Guitar Center because I want to purchase my first Bose L1 system today to retire my dual QSC K12's set up, which is amazing, but I gig 2 times per day so it's taking a toll on my back. Your video just sold me and I'm going to buy RIGHT NOW!!! I love how you learnt the bag while you were making this video, just as we all do when we get a new "toy". Thank you sooo much once again, and Season's Greetings big brotha. If you ever visit the Turks & Caicos Islands (Provo), don't be no stranger, please reach out to me mann! Blessings!

      Did you go with the Bose p.a?

    Great overview! Had no clue about the hidden storage and zippers behind the main area, nor the pull-down shelf, because Bose or Sweetwater doesn't show any pics except generic outside shots.

    Put the “tray” down and put the cable bag on that. The shelf (tray) is also protection for the top of the sub unit.

    Thanks for review, main question I had - is there also space for carry two mic-stands. I think, yes ;-) It's really huge, the free space invites to load some stuff in it and make the whole bag really heavy. As you said; it needs space in the car and superman to get it in and out of the car.

    • @peakaudio9715
      @peakaudio9715  2 роки тому +2

      I'll give it a try today. I've got a gig I'm taking a couple of these to. I'll see if I can't squeeze a mic stand in. I think a straight stand with a screw on base will go no sweat if I remove the base. Tripod base might be a little trickier.

    • @peakaudio9715
      @peakaudio9715  2 роки тому +2

      Confirmed. I removed the base from my Hercules Straight Stands, and easily fit one, could definitely get two and probably some other stuff as well. This bag is really terrific for a carry all solution. I didn't even think about putting a mic stand inside, you're a genius!

    • @peakaudio9715
      @peakaudio9715  2 роки тому +1

      What's up Bozeman! Bags are still in great shape. We have sent them out around 30-40 times this summer, no issues. Keep in mind, we handle them every time. We never let a client use them on their own. The only potential issue I see coming down the road is that we put a lot of lifting pressure on the front handles and when then are loaded, they seem like the weak point. Aside from that, great for piling gear into!

    Im a working musician. Ive used this case for six months and I regret spending the money. Please allow me to explain…
    1) The wheels are tiny. Great if you’re indoors. Terrible for the wet sidewalks, gravel parking lots, lawns, and sand you navigate in the real world.
    2) The cute little step guards are tiny. Soo…there is no rigid protection in the back if you take this thing up stairs, or load it in your vvehicle. **** If you watched the video you may have noticed that is where the thin tower goes…yes, thet means if you lever this thing on a tailgate say, the weight is directly on your tower speaker. ****
    Other than these two major points the bag is Ok. I hate that I have to strap this thing to a dolly to protect my gear after spending so much. I should have just built a rigid case in the first place.
