One of those golden songs that indefiably make you stop whatever you're doing... and this one proceeds to send you to that one place deep within your soul, where loss and sadness mix with a quiet blessing of thankfulness, thankfulness that whatever it was that made you feel this way, happened at all.
This is one of my all-time favorite songs and Chris Isaak sings it so beautifully, though Hannah's is my favorite cover. There is something about her voice that resonates with my soul and I wish this went so much longer.
