You needed to dig out the bottom of the water puddles, and rebuild the crown on the drive to shed the water. Think of the puddles like a bowl of cereal. When a car drives over it will splash out all your fill material. It would also be good to cut the ridge off the outer edge of the drive to allow water to drain off.
I appreciate your master advice sir! Thank you 🫡
If the driveway is going to remain gravel,a crown is necessary right? But if it is a base for concrete dose there need to be a crown?
@@LeeCash-q7r no it should be graded flat.
The competition was nice, which is decently rare.
I agree with you brother!
Yeah, they seem like some pretty cool guys. Awesome video👌
@catalintopala7325 I appreciate the support brotha! 🫡
Always great to network with ppl around you
💯% agree brotha!

Yessir it was a last-minute request with a 1 day deadline, and I made it happen! 💪
Nice to see young guys hustle! It’s always good to see!
As far as the driveway, I would of probably scoop up the good material from there then make a small trench for water to get out, take the dirt from the right side of the yard and fill the pot hole back up with it. If you take enough dirt out of the right side, it should bring the elevation down and water should naturally run into the culvet therefore preventing a big pool of water on the side, but again that’s if there no utilities line around that area. A landplane with a tilt attachment would work great for a project like that. Carolina Attachment LLC makes a great Landplane or just rent mine!
Yessir this yard needs quite a bit of grading... thanks for the feedback 🫡
Yesss let’s gooo bro u got this keep push and working ur ass off I love to see u get it bro u make me go get some more in he’ll yeahh let’s go go one more
I appreciate the support brother! Let's get it 💪 🫡
You have to have a smooth bucket to do that type of word. Also you have to cut the edges off the driveway. You really needed to cut the lower part of the driveway off and moved it to the upper side. That place would be a perfect candidate for a harley rake.
Yeah, I wish I had a harley rake but they are so expensive 😫
Good video love your drive and hustle keep it up 🤙🏼
I'm sure you hustle just as hard if not harder boss! Keep at it 💪🫡
great vid man and great work!
I appreciate the support brotha! 🫡
@@JackofHaulTrades no problem bro
Great channel. I just moved from Lawrenceville to Ballground.
Thanks man! How do you like it up there?
I have a few people down this way that are “famous” in the area for different reasons. However, I still hear bad things about them and still win jobs from under them regularly. Don’t let the social media aspect of things dissuade you from pushing forward. There’s TONS of work out there those guys are missing out on that people like you are scooping up every single day. You’re doing good bro. Keep up the good work
I appreciate the encouraging words brother! I'm going to come 🤝 one of these days! 🫡💪
Andre killing it again grindon I like it. Always try to have a good relationship with your competitors because they might get a job that they need you on and you might get a job that you might need them on you gotta work together so make a pediator's think it's a cut throat business but you work together and you make it work and at the end of the day you got money in your pocket to pay the bills and that's the bottom line because (Stone Cold said so)💪🏼😅 I don't know why I said that last part🤔 im OG 62 years old today. Hustle to your haters ask if you're hiring. I like watching your videos you're young you're hungry.👍
Hey look who it is again! I love reading every comment I get, but yours a little extra! Yessir I'm hungry to provide for my family 💪🫡
@@JackofHaulTrades I like every video you put out. You go after what ever you want and you don't take no for a answer 💯. You will own a successful business one day you will have people working for you, but no matter how much money you make never forget where you come from 🙌 and nobody gave you anything 💯
@rodneyconaway1600 thank you for believing in me good sir! And yes, you are spot on. Nobody gave me anything. I don't want to put my family through what I had to go through growing up... maybe that's why I work so hard
The water in that hole wasn't a problem, but for those to not come back again you need to dig up/rough up the bottom of them. Like a lot of fines are compacted in there and if you just fill them with loose gravel they come back over time
But yeah, that yard needs some work with the drainage regardless lol
Thank you so much for your input. I appreciate it! 🤝🫡
I love everything man content truck and equipment big fan but sir we need to get you into some nice breathing pants sir give some rooms to the pebbles. Much love
Haha, yessir! I need some of those pants. I'm literally dying in this heat 🥵😂
I appreciate all the love and support man it means a lot to me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️🫡

@shawncovert5447 I'm trying my best brother! I'm sure you do the same for your family!💪
@@JackofHaulTrades
Your doing a great job at it brother... Absolutely, as men it's our GOD giving duties!!!

@@shawncovert5447 Amen 🙏
Those wrap prices are decent! Do you just walk up with the camera or give guys a heads up?😁Your definitely right about the networking! I'm the same way! Lol..Keep it up boss!💯🫡
If I've never met them before, I'll make sure they are cool with being on UA-cam, but if I've met them before, I just walk up recording 🤣
Thanks man you as well! 💪🫡
Also on the driveway, I think you dug down low enough to disrupt those potholes personally. Like others said you gotta get down and break them up for the repair to last a while! However, gravel driveway maintenance is a constant thing that always needs to be done, so maybe that’ll be a job you come back to in a year and can make more money on again
Thank you for the feedback brother! I did this job for some of my favorite realtors! They give me a ton of work, I guess time will tell ..
💯 broski you getting into driveways cmon now
I'm getting into whatever pays me MONEY 😂
😂 keep those big pay days coming in
@@omargarcia2107 trying to man it's not easy!
Cut a drain edge on those puddles and come back later. Jeez bro. Also need to dig them out to fix pot holes.
I appreciate your input boss man! 🫡
Great vid bro!
I appreciate the feedback brother! 💪🫡
Push brooms and backpack blowers for getting water out of potholes 😉
You are a smart man! 🤝
I appreciate the feedback boss🫡
@JackofHaulTrades nah, just swept a lot of puddles in my day lol.
They pay you to do the weirdest things in construction sometimes lol.
@Kyletoff that's was a funny comment 🤣 thank you! Yeah you are spot on
Water pump bro Home Depot 40$
5-10 min
I didn't know top shelf offer the option for that style of tarping system I would have got that add-on
Yeah, they do it all. You just have to tell em what you want! Let em know next time you buy one that I sent you and you will save some money 💰
Limestone driveway looks good. $1425 coat, but what did you invoice ? My boy is hustling!
I charged $700 for my time and equipment and some crush n run, and the 57 material was $725. The Job total was $1425. Yessir! Trying to make a dollar 💪
Could’ve drained that puddle quick by just cutting a grove in the grass side to drain, scooping it will never get all the water out thus leading to another pot hole eventually
I appreciate the tip and the feedback boss! 🫡
Art Thou Signs in Lawrenceville on Buford Dr did my two box trucks and I think it was $1700. They are super good quality and the cheapest I have found.
That's funny I used the guy that is renting a shop behind them! D&D creative
Hey I live in buford
@kyleb1984 That's sick man! Do you own your own business as well?
@JackofHaulTrades No but I do wanna get into heavy equipment rentals. Not just dumpsters. That does seem saturated around here
@kyleb1984 Every business around us is saturated 😂😂
You could give your trees to firewood guys.
Yes, but they only want hardwood
Nobody wants pine here unfortunately
I’m not quite sure why you spent the time digging out that water and etc. fill it with your crush and then pack it in with the machine. You would also benefit from having a grader bar attachment instead of trying to use a tooth bucket. Good work though bro
One day I'll buy that attachment 🤞 I appreciate the support bro 🫡
Get you a smooth bucket! Much easier to grade
100% one of these days, I'll definitely get one!
Just because they want it done cheaply doesn’t mean you drop your hourly rate that just means you buy the cheap material
You are a smart man! I hope business is going well for you brother! 💪🫡
Dang my rates differ greatly. I need to raise mine.
Everyone's rates are different ... people keep telling me to raise mine 😂
But I'm happy with what I charge
How much was that load of gravel ? That was a lot
$725 18 tons
You desperately need a land plane. They are worth their money in gold.
Really? I gotta look into them more. I've seen a few people use them, but I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet
