    Been a slow week here in middle tn too. One thing you said was something about jumping on the work when it’s there. We’re heading into the fall where alot slows down, hustling and saving is super important. That scrap you got laying around is like stock market the price goes up and down you just gotta know when to take it in, like money in the bank.

Yesterday I had nothing scheduled for today, then this morning I got a call for 2 dumpsters needed right away, and maybe a 3rd. We’ve been pretty busy here in California. I have a consistent work schedule for the rest of the year and currently running bigger projects 2-3 weeks out. I only advertise on next door and word of mouth. I haven’t even had time to put decals on my trailer. I offer more than just junk removal, I pretty much do all types of handyman work, landscaping, yard clean ups, yard maintenance and light remodeling. I charge the clients for the hauling of each service and that revenue goes strictly to the junk removal aspect of my business to cover my bills. I also offer moving services and uhaul truck loading services. My area is full of older people so they always need extra help and yard maintenance is big for me as it keeps me steadily working and provides that guaranteed income week over week.

    Are you introducing yourself to all the businesses in your community? Are you going to storage units? For extra money we are moving people into storage units and for people who have to move we are collect all of their trash and do a light cleaning. We're on our way to do that now for a customer that we took two full loads for her one load to the storage unit and one load to the dump. We charged her $1110 two days ago. This customer was a referral from a storage unit. I'm also marketing to realtors, funeral homes, Assisted Living, etc.

      That's awesome keep hustling!!!! Yes, I try to network with everyone, and I get quite a bit of work from referrals! I haven't had much luck with storages or senior living facilities, but maybe one day that will change 💪

      @tinaf600 2 місяці тому +1

      @JackofHaulTrades I hope so. For storage, you can offer to move their stuff for them into storage or clean it out. You have to get on their vendor list. You got this 🤗
