As someone who has fostered kittens, we always adopt adult cats. Skip the stage where they climb your pant legs and the curtains, and go straight to chill lap cuddles:) (Lap cuddles not guaranteed, and remember all animals need a transition period to adjust to your home and family! It took 6 months before our female cat would even jump on the bed, and now she snuggles against my stomach every night).
My 8 year old Pyrenees passed on Saturday from cancer and I have been devastated with election and then the loss. Seeing all these babies really gave me a boost. I appreciate you!
I'm so sorry for your loss, it must've been so hard to say good-bye. I hope you keep finding things to bring your spirits up while you go through the grieving process. Maybe someday soon you'll be able to think about your friend with a smile and make room for a new friend who needs you, too. ❤

When I was living in Los Angeles I used to teach people how to speak dog. They called it a dog trainer I called ita person trainer. Dogs are absolutely consistent once you know their language, everything works out really smoothly, and you don't need collars or choke chains all you need is a harness, and some know how. I used to volunteer for rescues and I would offer to anyone that would adopt free training sessions. So now that I'm basically retired and disabled I can still consult for free I do it all the time on the street. All that being said I'd like to extend an offer to give free training to whomever adopts through rescue dog rescue. Feel free to extend the offer and respond, if you like. Great work Stephen! 💖.

I've had several rescue dogs, primarily full grown ones. Puppies are awesome on your show but please mention the older ones. My current rescue (from Humane Society) was 1 year 3 months old. Lani had some psychological problems and didn't really like people that much. But giving her the right kind of love, talking to her, playing with her in all sorts of ways, teasing her, etc she has turned into the most loving, compassionate and fun loving dog you could ever want.

Yes!!! I have a 6 year old black dog from the Humane Society. He was a bit messed up when we got him (mobility problems, fleas, Lyme disease, a previously broken rib) but now he's a born again puppy and also my best friend.

I had no idea who Chris Evans is. I'm here for the puppies but wishing they would spotlight more adult dogs like the retired working dog. All my dogs have been rescues (we're currently at 4) and I learned from the best, my grandma (93 years young+ rocking the beauty) that you always go in looking for that one dog who's not going to get adopted for their age, looks, disability or other issue and that's the best dog. ✌️

Tacoma? WA. They have several that are very hard to place because they have issues like mega esophagus... do you think you could have just one time where you do dogs that are hard to place? Rather than just puppies ? Thank you. I hope you start to help dogs that are less likely to be adopted. If nothing more than it will be more of a challenge to keep that 100% adoption rate! Please. 🙏
