I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invt decisions being guided by a invt-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a investment coach for over 2 years and I've netted 345% ROI.

Trading has been rather rewarding to me and I've learned that getting a good roi is very much attainable if you know your way around it.
How are you able to make profit? I’ve not been profitable the past 4 months I started trading.
It’s not rocket science. Jonas Herman, a certified trade analyst is the brain behind my success. I've gotten into a plethora of assets with $5k spread across fx & stocks (options and futures) for the short term and, index funds, and ETFs. Now with over 21k, I sit back and just reinvest at intervals while I focus on my career and family.
Do not forget that when it comes to trading, prices can be erratic, rising and declining quickly, often in relation to companies' policies, which individual trades do not influence. It’s all gambling.

I believe that, through consistency, you get better and any strategy you may develop. You can work on your body or spirit and apply any amount of focus in this business. No matter how much better you may get at the end of the day no one owns the market.
The rule is: do not risk what you can't afford to lose. (All depends on the capital you have)
If you have $200,000 and risking $2,000 at every trade that is a 1% risk on your capital. You're good you see.
It's good to be emotionally strong but the longevity of your account will rely first on rules and discipline applied.

My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading

I have been taking prop accounts, and pass 4 times the first phase like in 3 days, 4 times but when it come to the second phase it just becoming so many rules and stuff which made me to lose the second phase all the time. So imagine making that 100% 4X on your own capital, you will have something to withdraw and what you can risk again in the market. With prop when you lose the second phase you have to restart from zero
I’m in a place of stagnation in my trading. Sometimes I feel maybe it’s not for me but then I watch these interviews and realize everyone has these moments. It’s only stagnation if you give up.

It seems fake. I’m not saying it’s not legit, I’m just simply saying the way they explain seems simple. The way my mind works, if I’m using 2k to make 10-15k a day. Why not put 2k on the opposite swing meaning if I put 2k on the same trade using two different accounts, but two different actions in my mind it seems like it guaranteed to print money. Trading isn’t that simple though so I’ll have to do some research.

The best way to find that balance between saving and living is by investing. Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth and smart people will always try to harness any investment opportunity not minding the risks involved.
I'm invested in stocks for long term growth, but now getting into scalping options. Definitely money to be made if done right, and taken all emotion out of the trading.
I've been diving deep into stock options, the first $120k is definitely the hardest, but I believe can easily multiply once cracked.
If you cut off all distractions and just focus on solid investment, you'd be surprised by just how much one can accomplish in 6 months!

I was thinking of starting out with a $4000 account and buying thirty contracts and selling them for $500 on the SPY. I've been trading a while but was looking for a strategy to stay consistent.
