Finally after years of injustice we witness the redemption of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath rightfully into a top 3 spot! For me, A National Acrobat is still the sickest riff ever conceived to date.
Wow. The first Sabbath ranking that's ever made sense. Good job! Only thing is I like Seventh Star just a smidge more than Eternal Idol, great one Questy! Cheers! Oh yeah do a Coroner ranking next, thanks.
I agree so much with 13, it feels like an album where what if we cut out sabbath’s entire ozzy discography and make a album based off of the only the song black sabbath
I think Forbidden and the 2024 remix edition of Forbidden should be two different rankings. Honestly, if you listened to the original mix of Forbidden, it's a D-tier album. But then you listen to 2024 Forbidden, that I think bumps that album up to C-tier.
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is defo my fave album as it was the first one my cousin introduced to me in the 90s. He had the old vinyl version his Dad gave him - the cover art pulled me in and the songs were so out there.
I wouldn't say Forbidden is one of my favorite Sabbath albums, but I did hear the newer mix of it that came out recently and I have to say it made the album better. Great list overall!
Master of Reality is the GOAT. My go to album. People talking about never say die and tech ecstacy bla bla trying to sound cool and forget about dehumanizer, an absolute banger🔥
Black Sabbath are the all time classic pioneers of metal. I love almost every album they’ve done. The Ozzy era is my favorite, the Dio era is also great, and I even think the Tony Martin era is under appreciated. Here is my ranking: S - Paranoid, Master of Reality, Mob Rules A+ - Black Sabbath, Sabotage, Heaven and Hell, Dehumanizer, 13 A - Vol. 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Headless Cross, Tyr, Cross Purposes B - Technical Ecstasy, Born Again, The Eternal Idol C - Never Say Die! D - Seventh Star, Forbidden
Do you think you could rank Arkona albums? It's my favorite band and the few times you've talked about them, it was positive. (the Russian Arkona, not Polish)
The Stephen Wilson remixes change my opinion on some albums, plus the Black Box versions of the Ozzy era albums sound so much much nicer, Geezers bass is better mixed in particular.
Here's Mine 1. Paranoid 2. Master of Reality 3. Sabotage 4. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 5. Vol.4 6. Black Sabbath 7. Heaven and Hell 8. 13 9. Mob Rules 10. Dehumanizer 11. Technical Ecstasy 12. Headless Cross 13. The Devil You Know 14. Tyr 15. The Eternal Idol 16. Seventh Star 17. Cross Purposes 18. Never Say Die! 19. Born Again 20. Forbidden Numbers 1-6 are damn near perfect albums Numbers 7-13 are awesome, solid albums 14-17 are the ones I occasionally listen to and enjoy 18-20 are just plain bad albums
S: Mob Rules, Paranoid, Sabotage, Heaven and Hell. A+: The Devil You Know, Dehumanizer, Black Sabbath A: Headless Cross, Tyr, Technical Ecstasy Cross Purposes, B: Vol. 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Master of Reality C: Never Say Die, Seventh Star, 13, Eternal Idol, D: Forbidden Gonna relisten to the ozzy albums again but I never remember anything from Vol. 4 and Master at ALL. Maybe I'm off my rocker
My ranking has changed somewhat over time. Specifically with Volume 4. I used to think it was eh, but nowadays it is probably my second favorite Black Sabbath album. Master of Reality has always been number one for me.
Here is my tier list: S: Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, Master of Reality, Paranoid, Born Again, Sabotage A+: Volume Four, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath A: Dehumanizer, Black Sabbath B: Technical Ecstacy, Cross Purposes, The Devil You Know C: Headless Cross, Forbidden (the remix brings this from tier D to tier C), Tyr, 13, Never Say Die D: Eternal Idol, Seventh Star
Hole In The Sky, Symptom Of The Universe, Megalomania, The Writ makes sabotage my favorite Top 10 1 Sabotage 2 Master Of Reality 3 Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 4 Heaven And Hell 5 Vol 4 6 Mob Rules 7 Paranoid 8 Dehumanizer 9 Black Sabbath 10 Headless Cross
Never understood the massive lack of love for 'Never Say Die', that many Sabbath fans seem to have; that album is WAY better than it's reputation in my book! 🤷
I grew up a Sabbath fan and I really enjoyed your Ranking, for me Paranoid, Master of Reality, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Sabotage and Heaven and Hell are my S tier, Black Sabbath, Mob Rules and Vol 4 are my A Tier’s
Paranoid , Vol . 4 , Sabotage , Sabbath Bloody Sabbath , Black Sabbath , Master Of Reality , Heaven and Hell , Mob Rules , after that , I did not care enough to really rank ..,
1- Master of Reality 2- Paranoid 3- Sabotage 4- Dehumanizer 5- Black Sabbath 6- Vol 4 7- Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 8- Heaven and Hell 9- The Devil You Know (*That´s the name of the last album you ranked, they just changed the name of the band because they played live with Ozzy and didn't want to confuse the fans, but it is a "Black Sabbath" album nonetheless) 10- 13 (better than all the Tony Martin era combined :D) I don't like the rest of the albums.
S - Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Masters of Reality, Vol 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Sabotage, Heaven and Hell A - Mob Rules, Dehumanizer, 13, The Devil You Know B - TYR, Headless Cross, Technical Ecstasy C - Cross Purposes, Eternal Idol, Never Say Die! D - Born Again, Seventh Star, Forbidden
My favorite ten albums by the band are, in order, the following albums: 1.Sabbath bloody Sabbath. 2.Heven and Hell 3.Headlles Cross 4.Master of Reality 5.Mob Rules 6.Paranoid 7.Black Sabbath 8.Born Again 9.Dehumanizer 10.Cross Purpuroses 17:29 The rest of the albums don't deserve an as a whole, because in my opinion they contain a maximum of two or three songs, so they can't be treated as a finished album.🔥👌😁
13 is definitely an A tier album , low A and I don't think it should be that low. The rest of the list is fine ig. But just like u said "sign of the southern cross" for mob rules, I'd say " god is dead" for 13 . It's not a C tier album
Always Master of Reality for me
For me also
Same here!
Finally after years of injustice we witness the redemption of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath rightfully into a top 3 spot! For me, A National Acrobat is still the sickest riff ever conceived to date.
The title track puts up a good fight for that title though
You'll never please everyone. Cross Purposes is one of their best.

The turnaround on Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is crazy. I love that album
Also another person who loves technical ecstasy!!! Literally such a fantastic album and everyone hates it because “its not heavy enough”

Agree. Even if they ended there, they would still have among one of the best discographies in metal
@@joaquinlezcano2372 Exactly! 👍
Yep
Its better than Technical Ecstasy imo
@@bradders9743 I agree.. 🤗
Somebody changed their mind on Sabbath Bloody Sabbath😂😂
You redeemed yourself finally.
I forgive you now
I grew up a Sabbath fan and I really enjoyed your Ranking, for me Paranoid, Master of Reality, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Sabotage and Heaven and Hell are my S tier, Black Sabbath, Mob Rules and Vol 4 are my A Tier’s
I'd rank Born Again as my no 1 because I love Deep Purple. I love it when Ian Gillan screams..❤❤😅😂
i see the H&H album here! rip DIO
Questy has redeemed himself
Totally agree on Eternal Idol, it doesn't sound like Black Sabbath at all.
Paranoid , Vol . 4 , Sabotage , Sabbath Bloody Sabbath , Black Sabbath , Master Of Reality , Heaven and Hell , Mob Rules , after that , I did not care enough to really rank ..,
respect for putting vol4 S🤟
Original title would be better.

Heck yeah. I love that band. Seconded
IMO first 5 Ozzy albums first then Born Again and The Devil You Know.

Need opeth rerank
Unpopular opinion but the devil you know is S tier
So this is a Tyr ranking
Very difficult to rank, the quality is so high. I'm tempted to throw about half the catalog into the S tier.
Master of Reality still holds as one if the heaviest metal albums of all time
I would drop Vol 4. Two tiers on account of Changes, which is the only Black Sabbath song I am aware of that I have to skip. Just can't listen to it.
My favourite is Black Sabbath with Sabbath Bloody Sabbath a close second. Favourite Dio album is Mob Rules.
Have you heard Heresie by the RIO band Univers Zero? It's the darkest album ever made.
Never Say Die is a Banger. A+ Tier. Admittedly it took a few listens but its one of my favs now. Technical Ectasy is D.
Love the Enslaved shirt Questu
Funny ranking!
Forbidden lower than Seventh Star? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!
Hi, mate! Still waiting for that Krallice rating 😄
13
I haven’t watched this yet I’m just gonna tell you you’re wrong in advance. Get it out of the way.
Vol 4 is the best to me it's the darkest I love the heavy doom in it
Hand Of Doom 1970-1978 BMG, wich number on yours?
