Now I am older I can only see myself in Aragorn, on the journey to build for a better future for his kin, and a lover. It’s either revealing about how sad I am or it shows how impressive Tolkien was a author, but I feel like after watching these movies I’ve changed my outlook on love, I used to be obsessed with the physical, sex and the like as much of modern western culture and internet culture is focused on. after it all I want to do is have someone to hold, someone I can love. Someone who I can say was what made it worth it all, someone one that makes me whole.
