- In this video I show you how to set up the Fujifilm X10 camera in manual mode, and how to use ISO bracketing. The Fujifilm x10 is like a mini 5D classic and the files straight out of the camera are excellent.

X10 is one of the most simplest camera to use from Fuji, what makes this camera such a legend is that all the features cramped into such a compact body, and such an easy camera to use.
I still use X10 till today, and it has been my only camera for 10 years, no kidding, the photography of X10 still is on par with many cameras that are released in late 2020.

I have a sliver/black mint X20 and I also use the FN button for the film simulations. I like that I have two custom film recipes at my fingertips with the C1 and C2 selections on the mode dial. This thing is always in M mode. The only thing I really hate about this camera is the manual focus implementation. They should have added a front dial for this feature. The spinning wheel is horrible.

Have u ever tryed out nikon d600 or any nikon cameras because they have much better dynamic range
I have owned the Nikon cameras in the past, prefer the autofocus and colour from the canon cameras to be honest, thanks for your comment

Funnily enough, I just got an X10 today, (£90!) but my ‘main’ camera is a d600 - so at some point in the next few weeks I should be fairly qualified to answer that x10 VS d600 question. I do only shoot raw tho.

I haven’t gone out with the x10 yet, (only got it last night!) but your question made me curious too - managed to find some info re dynamic range on one of the camera comparison sites that pulls data from external sources and it says - “Consistent information on actual sensor performance is available from DXO Mark for many cameras. This service determines an overall sensor rating, as well as sub-scores for low-light sensitivity ("DXO Sports"), dynamic range ("DXO Landscape"), and color depth ("DXO Portrait"). Of the two cameras under consideration, the D600 offers substantially better image quality than the X10 (overall score 44 points higher). The advantage is based on 4.6 bits higher color depth, 2.9 EV in additional dynamic range, and 3.6 stops in additional low light sensitivity. The adjacent table reports on the physical sensor characteristics and the outcomes of the DXO sensor quality tests for a sample of comparator-cameras.”
So looks like the d600 has more dynamic range, but that’s to be expected really
What do you process x10 raw files with?
i only use the jpg files
how can i change the mode so i can use hdmi to connect it to my computer for streaming/recording
