"Stop, mother! You don't belong in this world! ...Really, you don't. This world creepy and full of evil jellyfish." "Well, now I _am_ an evil jellyfish!"
Lillie: "We're not made for you to just discard when you get bored with us!" Lusamine: "How am I supposed to be different than your trainer friend? What do you do with a Pokémon you can't use? You remove it from your party, as you please" That there was probably the MOST confronting line you've ever read in a Pokémon game. I still have some thinking to do.
CeeeX this immediately made me feel bad after putting lunala in the pc when I had 2 ghost types (decidueye and mimikyu) which was followed by more bad feelings when lillie gave her speech after catching lunala
If they hadn't shown the first cutscene with Lillie fleeing Aether Paradise or Lusamine's smirk after battling the first Nihilego, I never would've guessed that Lusamine was a villain.
She keeps Pokémon in freezers like a serial killer. Her "beloved possessions". Honestly the most unabashedly dark and deranged Pokémon villain, hands down.
I was shaking near the end game so much that I misclicked a few times thanks to her. Her little collection (and a end game easter egg in Secret Lab A) were truly horrifying...NEVER did I expect that out of Pokémon.
"Terrible? Me? How am I different from any Pokémon Trainer, like your little “friend” there? What do you do with a Pokémon you can’t use? You remove it from your party, as you please." That broke my heart after after realizing how many pokemon are in my PC box...
Nathan Lebacq Yeah Giovanni wasn’t that bad of a parent. He didn’t force silver on anything, he just went like “oh srry i don’t have time for you i gotta rule a mafia organisation” and then after team rocket was defeated be like “aight gtg in the shadows bye”
I don’t know if anyone has talked about this yet, but I LOVE Gladion’s line before you face Lusamine. “! Stop the President!!! If we don’t, Alola will be flooded with beasts!” It’s a really subtle thing, but it’s actually means so much for him to refer to Lusamine as “the President.” At this point, Lusamine is very clearly shown to be obsessed with the Ultra Beasts, to the point where Gladion doesn’t even recognize her anymore. He didn’t refer to her as “my mother” or even just “Lusamine”, because to him, she’s no longer the woman he remembers her as. It’s such a little thing but I thought it went a long way to highlight just how detached their poor little family became since Mohn disappeared :/
Something else I really love about this game is just how different the music is from previous generations. Sure there's the typical wild battle music, but most of it sounds like something you wouldn't normally hear in a Pokemon game.
According to the director, Sun and Moon are much more cinematic and story driven than any other game in the series. That's why they changed the style for Sun and Moon.
Somehow, the fact that she uses adorable, innocent-looking Fairy-types and and has this light, ethereal battle theme really drove home how completely insane she is. It's way creepier than if she'd specialized in something conventionally villainous, Poison or Dark or Ghost or whatever.
I like how with Lusamine/the aether foundation, you aren’t saving the world or anything. Sure, the ultra beasts would have caused some damage, but the tapus and kahunas would have prevented too much harm. The real reason we’re fighting lusamine is to protect cosmog and Lillie, and repair a broken family. It’s a much more personal story than any of the other games, and imo fits Pokémon as a whole better.
@@markpiper6382 i find it taking aspects of both the sinnoh games and unova games Lore and worldbuilding (gen 4) Amazing music which is in both gen 4 and 5 amazing story (gen 5)
Tbh... I can see why she acted the way she did. Her Desperation after losing her husband to the UBs made her become insane. Then her children try to escape and steal what she needs for her UN studies. In her insane mind this looks like a betrayel instead of help. Maybe she connects the UBs to her husband. And Nihilegos poison made her become an insane trashbag hoe. Poison combined with desperation. Really deep for a pokemon villain.
soulkutu Not until I read this comment. But now that I have... Holy shit, the symbiote and UB-01 are almost exactly the same, down to the name. Only real difference is aesthetic.
That would also explain why Lillie was dressed to look very similar to Nihilego. Because of Lusamine's obsession with it and in turn basically controlled what Lillie wore. Lillie herself even mentioned this. Jesus Christ, Game Freak. Never have I thought a Pokémon game could go this far. Color me impressed.
So coming back to this in 2020... Man, Game Freak really knew what they were doing with their antagonists’ battle themes, particularly the women. Lusamine’s and Oleana’s are both amazing!
+Mood Swinger I know what your saying, the Actress from that Freeform show Younger, (I don't watch it, and I only saw like 2 episodes) the one who plays the 26-year old pretending to be a 40-year old is actually 41 and you would only know that If you looked it up. And Joel Hayman from Rooster Teeth is in his 40s but looks like he is in his mid to late 30s
in all honesty, of all my years playing pokemon, Lusamine has been the most amazing "villain" to encounter her story is interesting, her design is awesome, her team is powerful, and her theme is bloody awesome
@@jackson2531 you know they are saying that becuase of how good of a villain she is right? Plus she did become a better parent later on(and pretty much stopped being evil also she was possessed by a niheldgo soo yeah.)
@@jackson2531 She was being controlled by Nihilego, it's not her fault at all, that's why they went to Kanto, to extract the poison and neurotoxins from her, she's not evil, just a really tragic character that went down the path of madness after losing her husband...
@@AlmondMilkLake Nihilego only removes your inhibitions, plus it needs to directly latch onto you to work its parasite charm. That means Lusamine being a terrible parent was all her before her fusion. She isn't pure evil in neither version, but it was her who froze her pokemon and abused her kids, not an UB. Her backstory is tragic, but sadly comes too late, way past the point of relevance in Sun and Moon. Made her redemption too hard to buy after pulling so much shit with no good explanation. At least Ultra Sun and Moon put more effort into her redemption by explaining her husband's fate way earlier and actually showing her reflecting on herself. Although that came at the expense of her getting completely sidelined in favor of Necrozma
@@extrahachse3118 Just like Lillie said, she changed from a very sweet and caring mother to the trash person she became in the game (i don't think they said if it was sudden or progressive), and the fusion part was made in such a perfect and coordinated way that it feels like she did it before, what i mean is that perhaps her madness started when she obsesed with searching her husband and it wasn't so bad, but Nihilego's toxins and poisons just made it worse, and perhaps she had a first encounter with Nihilego during her investigations since it seemed like she had alredy done the fusion and there was no way she could know about the fusion thing and even less how to do it in the first time so easily, and about her being already a bad person before Nihilego, Nihilego increses your characteristics to the extreme, so abusing her kids could have easily just been the "extreme iteration" of being an strict mom, and her frozen pokemon the "extreme iteration" of loving beautiful things and wanting to preserve and protect pokemon, in her madness the best way to protrect them and preserve their beauty was freezing them. And she forgot completely about her husband since in her mind the only thing important to her was Nihilego, she didn't even mention Mohn a single time, whenever she spoke about "love" she refered to Nihilego, and i'm not implying Nihilego is the villain, what i think is that as any other parasite it was just a self-defense mechanism, when it felt attacked by being brought suddenly to another universe, and it would only take extreme actions when everything else failed, like Lusamine jumping to the Ultra Space when it started dissapearing simply because she wanted to be with her "sweet beast" and when they fused the first solution was defeating the protagonist in a Pokemon battle, when it didn't work it seemed like "Mother Beast" was ready to attack them herself (when they focus on her hand-like tentacle forming a fist ready to stomp Lillie before she called the legendary for help). Even Guzma said when he tried to capture one: "but it possessed me! And that's when it happened! My body, my mind... They started running wild, and I couldn't do anything about it!, It was like I became somebody else, and I finally felt what fear feels like! It was terrifying!", he as well talked about Lusamine being "gone"
Yoshi Kawaii lusamine‘s change was Said to Be Gradual, nihelego‘s Effect are sudden and explosive. And guzma was pretty fine After nihelego released him, albeit Understandably shaken. Because again, the UB needs to latch Directly onto you. Its a parasite, Not a Magician. Lusamine was a terrible Person all by herself. Nihilego only enhanced her Bad Qualities when it fused with her. When it got seperated from her she quickly improved, so you do overestimate Nihilegos control
I LOVE how the music track starts off twisted and distorted but just seconds in it changes to be more elegant. It's as if she's readjusting herself to not let her mask slip even in battle
I friggin loved Lusamine as a villain. The distortion of her views towards Pokemon and beauty that cause her to forsake her own family as well. And the juxtaposition of her pale, almost angelic, innocent demeanour and colour palette with her harsh heart. OOFT! I wish this theme got into smash ultimate so bad.
Btw she froze the three trial goers (I think it’s called) a book from the trainers school because u can see pikachu pyukumuku and I forget the other but it’s there read the book in the trainers school and it says maybe you can see them one day and u do but not in a good way
It’s sad how overly hated gen 7 is. The music is amazing, the storyline is also amazing considering how rushed the plot was in xy, even the characters have personality and have actual roles rather than them just measly following you while you save the world, the cutscenes gave me goosebumps as well. Especially when Lusamine fused with the Ultra beast. I’ll never forget the grin and adrenaline I had experienced. This gen will forever be one of my favorites, considering rowlett is my top 2 fav starter too.
I love gen 7, too. Its my favourite generation of pokemon. Its a shame it didn't get an hd port on the switch, but the ultra games are also really damn good so I ain't complaining
Music isn't spoiler for me. It just gets me more hyped for the story. I get to wonder now how Lusamine and the Aether Foundation become/always were evil. I haven't looked at the huge leaks, but I do listen to the music.
Duncapunca It was pretty much confirmed a while ago that he would be the rival. A Coro-Coro picture showed that he had three items that would change Silvally's type. They were red, green, and blue. Which would change it to the type with an advantage over your starter, presumably.
This sounds like a prelude to madness to me. I love how there are the softer tones with the synth in the background that kinda sound like stringed intstruments. Maybe a way to tell us that Lusamine hasn't always been a bad person who had fallen to madness. That deep down there is still a good person and more so, a good mother. Then the pipe organ comes in to always try to corrupt that fact. Maybe I'm overanlayzing this, but I think her battle music perfectly incapsulates Lusamine's entire character.

@Anthony Harris They're actually the Dark type gym trainers. Piers told them to follow Marnie around and basically be her fanclub, but football hooliganism happened.
Is there anyone else wanting to ship the two of them together? They'd probably make a nice couple. ("nice" as in getting along well, not "nice" as in a good thing for anyone else.)
Prahlad Giridharan No doubt. In fact, the reason I prefer Cyrus over her is becaise, in my opinion, I feel Cyrus is more ruthless, his plan just a bit more grand, and his team better constructed when compared to Lusamine. They'd definitely be closer, though, if Lusamine actually had a team that was intimidating. Seriously, a Clefairy? Really? lol
SO we're just gonna ignore the fact that she murdered innocent pokemon and left their bodies inside frozen cubes to preserve them and use them as decor AND used their literal souls to power a portal to a different dimension? *Ok I'll shut up...*
She didn't outright kill them. If you go to Secret Lab A after becoming Champion, you can speak with an employee who gives you stuff for Latios, Kyurem and Hoopa, and she will tell you these Pokemon are sleeping and will probably be restored later.
Her motives were still a bit convoluted for me, between the Nihilego toxins, the loss of her husband (even though that bastard is still technically alive), and his research on Ultra Beast all getting mixed together to fuel her obsession with Ultra Beasts, this isn't one of those villain stories with valid reason behind their actions, or harboring sheer malice towards life itself. No, this is just straight up insanity in its purest form.
Yep, she was rendered psychotic by the Nihilego toxins freeing her worst traits and bringing them to the forefront. I mean, it might have started out as wanting to find information on her dead husband; but the Ultra Beasts themselves drove her mad. She was a fucking psychopath that would have done the Carnage symbiote Spider-Man proud, and I bloody love it.
I love that she has a Bewear; it's super fitting! Like its prevolution, it's super popular and cute (to fit with her team). Unlike its prevolution, it's so dangerous that only an actually crazy person would keep one close by
lusamine is certainly a terrible person (not too bad in usum and probably the nicest boss lady in the anime) but i think her backstory is super well written and her character is absurdly interesting and layered. a woman who loses her husband and falls into a deep obsession with otherworldly creatures to the point where she loses her mind and her immense love for her children because of it. damn. shes sort of a personification of how fragile the human condition is and what poor mental health and decisions can do to someone
Also, the reason why her character worked when others (aka. Lysandre and Rose) didn't is because the game didn't pretend that she wasn't the villain. In fact, the game actively encourages the player to believe that she's hiding some shit due to her reaction to Hau mentioning LIllie by name and the Nihiligo shit after island 2. The real twist was figuring out how deep everything went and how insane she actually was. Not to mention the story tie in with Guzma was good, highlighting both him and Lusamine ironically, the tie-in with Gladion and Type:Null is good as well as when the three of you sneak into Aether paradise he hides Null's history from you and Hau, the breadcrumbs are intentionally laid to lead the player to the logical conclusion, being: Lillie and Gladion are siblings, Lusamine is the mother and she's gone f****** insane, Mohn os the father and he's an amnesiac and losing him due to the ultra wormhole is what caused Lusamine to go insane, not to mention the actual unexpected plot twist with Team Skull and Aether Foundation working together (Plumeria's cutscene on Poni island and the flashback to when she kidnaps Lillie were hints at that). Even then you could go further by tying in Nanu and Kukui with Guzma and the psychology there, which allows you to compare those two to Lusamine and the others on top of that, and the end result is a dozen characters with strikingly similar backstories (at the core) but with radically different outcomes.
When you realize that Lusamine is Pokemon's first female evil Organization leader as well as story organization final boss and is she's absolutely terrifying as well as strong not a pushover and has a amazing fitting theme to boot.
It's not tough if you know the Pokemon she has, but if you don't, like I did, not knowing what would come next, You might just get bent over, and fucked silly by her team.
She is the literally the human version of Froslass. The two of them have A LOT in common. For example they both love beautiful things and they freeze pokemon (froslass even humans it finds beautiful) and has them on display. Just imagine walking into lusamine's lair and seeing frozen trainers behind her along with the frozen pokemon.
@@zeldaenby224 I wouldn't say 'dead', just 'frozen for the rest of their lives, which will be until the end of time unless they melt or somehow break out'.

This seems to be the most experimental pokemon soundtrack yet, as many of the songs feature vocals. Not that I'm complaining; this soundtrack is great!
Kevin Calderón I...didn't see that as evil. As long as they are still alive. It's somewhat evil, but it could also be good. What IS evil about it is that it's nonconsensual. What's good is that they are preserved
Game: Villain UltraGame: Botched Anti-Villain (her cruelty makes less sense when trying to achieve a more "justified" goal) Anime: Probably the better representation of what she's like without the neurotoxins
Easy work around. One shot them before she can set that stuff up. Easy way to do it? ESPEON, GO! Then Sylveon, if Espeon faints. She's a real pushover if you have Eeveelutions apparently... Of course, it's still pretty hard... Pretty sure that if your starter's trained well enough and has all the right moves, she's just like one of those Team Skull Grunts, but...
Same. I was figuring that Faba was going to be the Token Evil Teammate of the Aether Foundation, but I didn't see Lusamine's insanity coming until she did that psycho smirk after the first encounter with UB01.
Shiny Wurmple It's a credit to this game's story as a whole: some of the more savvy fans KNEW the Aether Foundation was evil... they just didn't know HOW evil in regards to Lusamine.
We..well by the Sun&Moon game I think Cyrus will age a bit (if he could in the distortion world that is) maybe 5 years...wait still younger than her. Wat

I noticed something quite interresting the first repeating intro tones as a melody remind me a lot of how a jellyfish's movement could sound, this kind of pulsating up and down and the overall tone of the music is so alien like and otherworldly I love the details in the theme Since Lusamine's favorite Pokemon (and maybe even favorite being) is Nihilego
"You remove it from your party as you please" Me thinking back to every gen 4 playthrough I've ever done, and how I always stopped using Luxio before it became Luxray...

Lusamine: fusing with ultra beasts and fighting kids Lillie: Carrying the power of the moon/sun in her bag Gladion: Owning a beast who can change types and was made for killing ultra beasts Mohn: P O K E B E A N S
She was actually, the anime is a great representation of how she would be like if she wasn't infected by nihiliego (idk how it's spelled) She was depressed and neglected her kids bc mohn disappeared but at the end of the alola anime she is way more stable
Just such an amazing villain! I don’t love the sun and moon games too much, but the pokemon, story, characters, and region itself are just all amazing!
Lusamine: * Confronts player on how they discard unwanted pokemon to the PC * Lillie: "That is completely irrelevant!" Player: *"No no, she's got a point."*
Unova Mega Embaor She has more personality to her. She's not 100% evil, but she has a really warped view on love (rather than being unconditional for her kids it's based on her sense of beauty) and she's pretty much a Yandere who displays this love in sometimes psychotic ways (like how she deep froze her favorite Pokemon so that they could always be with her). At the same time she also has a nice side (like how Lillie explained that she used to be a very kind mother, or the fact how she does deeply care for those that "deserve" her love like the Pokemon on Aether Paradise and the UB's). And in a way she only ended up that way because of the fact that she loved her husband so much that his disappearance lead to an very unhealthy and dangerous obsession. Lysandre in my opinion was just a madman who wanted to destroy the world in order to "keep it beautiful" and was selfishly prepared to kill millions in order to push his own warped and selfish views on all of humanity and all the Pokemon living on earth. The guy was basically a terrorist. Ghetsis was just straight up 100% evil and wanted to rule the world, which made him the most one dimensional and cliche villain ever. Come on, world domination for no reason other than just being evil? Who is he, Frieza? Cyrus is an interesting case. His views on a perfect world were really strange, since he wanted a world in which there is no spirit/emotion. But those things are exactly what make humanity what it is (and in the game Pokemon as well). In the end he got his wish by Giratina allowing him to remain in the Distortion World, but can someone really be happy (or even survive) in a world of absolute nothingness? I still can't understand how there were enough people that shared that wish to form an entire organization. In the end however he was prepared to destroy the current world for that incomprehensible and extremely selfish ideal in addition to torturing the Lake Spirits and enslaving Dialga and Palkia to force him to do his bidding. In that aspect he wasn't really all that different from Lysandre in the sense that he was willing to screw over everyone in order to achieve his own selfish desire no matter what (thereby pushing his own warped and self-centered views on the entire world). Honestly the only "villain" that I believe is as good as Lusamine is N and I don't really consider him as a villain per se. He was kind of in a grey area between a villain and a rival. He also had very different views from the rest of the world, but he at least considered other people's perspectives as well and had an open mind that was willing to change his ways if he was proven wrong (as he did after the player awoke the other legendary dragon and beat him in battle). And even then he was one of the few (again quote on quote) "villains" that actually acted out of an ideal to make everyone (or at least most Pokemon) happy. Maxie and Archie also thought that their actions would end up making everyone happier, but I'm not really gonna mention them because their plans, logic and actions were just straight up retarded.
EthanYT Indeed. I tend to drag on a lot when it comes to subjects that I love (read: Pokemon), but I'm glad there are some people that enjoy my comment section semi-essays XD
She is actually a lot like Queen Sectonia from Kirby 3D; she became obsessed with beauty to the point of becoming insane (having assistance from Nihilego on Lusamine's part) and becoming cruel towards even those who were close to her. And let's not forget, both fused with another living thing.

Maybe Lusamine allowed years of overanalysis to twist her perception of reality and became the villain we see here.

FUCK. THE. US/UM. RETCON.
I agree. This is reflective of types of addiction. So good!
I still couldn’t move on from the plot twist of the real evil is her and aether foundation, not team skull.

Also almost every father (except Bianca father) know its safe to take a walk with a FREAKING LIZARD
jesus fucking Christ sun and moon had some of the best collection of battle themes
an then Ultra Sun and moon pumped steroids
It's such a banger game
And fortunately this _collection_ isn't frozen!
I really didn't expect frozen Pokémon..... Lusamine is nuts!!!
Kevin Calderón nuts for deez nutz ha gladion
Kevin Calderón I...didn't see that as evil. As long as they are still alive. It's somewhat evil, but it could also be good. What IS evil about it is that it's nonconsensual. What's good is that they are preserved
"I'll kidnap a thousand Cosmog before I let my husband die, and I will silence anyone who gets in my way!" - Lusamine in USUM

sister: "pokemon is so sexist! when will WE get a crazy insane female villain?!"
me: "bruh"
your sister is so stupid XD
Hunnterh “pokemon is so sexist! they depict women as insane villains!”
I was waiting for so long for that moment and here it is 👌🏼
Bro ur sister should be glad that they even have a female villain
Your sister: *B r u h ?*
If 👏She's 👏 40 👏 I'm 👏 40 👏
She dies lol
The God of Soap, Kekcario she didn't die though she almost did
Han Solo dies.
+john smith she'll never find her husband because he died. Also if they want to talk about fusing pokemon with humans they should talk to ash
her husband didnt died.

More like Kiryuin Ragyo.

UltraGame: Botched Anti-Villain (her cruelty makes less sense when trying to achieve a more "justified" goal)
Anime: Probably the better representation of what she's like without the neurotoxins

USUM are the superior games, but plot is kinda where theyre lacking
Maybe she ate a Snickers in the anime. You aren’t you when you’re hungry, after all

I love that step she takes with her heel right before you battle her.
Ikr the beginning honestly feels off without it
IKR OMG
she fab uwu
Who at game freak thought it was okay to give her a Cosmic Power Clefable, and a Milotic?!
Seriously I remember actually having some trouble with the second battle.
That milotic fucked me so many times
@@pandaknight4300 My brother had the core Excadrill-Rotom Wash-Aegislash so that battle was just an one-sided massacre
Okay, I could've predicted the Aether Foundation the true bad guys, but not how Lusamine is fucking insane.
Same. I was figuring that Faba was going to be the Token Evil Teammate of the Aether Foundation, but I didn't see Lusamine's insanity coming until she did that psycho smirk after the first encounter with UB01.
And an abusive mom to boot. Shit went from 0-100 real quick
Shiny Wurmple It's a credit to this game's story as a whole: some of the more savvy fans KNEW the Aether Foundation was evil... they just didn't know HOW evil in regards to Lusamine.
But, the Aether Foundation werent bad guys, it was just Lusamine.
Raydnt bout time someone pointed tbat out
Underrated villain, underrated game, underrated theme
Yes!
Lusamine is over 40. Cyrus is 27.
Wat.
We..well by the Sun&Moon game I think Cyrus will age a bit (if he could in the distortion world that is) maybe 5 years...wait still younger than her.
Wat
don't question anime logic.
DoD Ikr! Where's she keeping the elixir of youth?
SCIENCE
DoD Cyrus is only 27? What the hell?
These new games are literally game-changing!
SunAndMoon: First Female Main Villain
UltraSunAndMoon:First Main Pokemon Villain
Yeah but Necrozma sucks and Lusamine doesn't
Necrozma isn't a villain. it is dying and is only wanting to stay alive
Even then, although not as prominent a presence one could argue that the real villain of vanilla S&M is Nihilego.
Necrozma is definitely a villain, according to every Nuzlocker ever.
Pokémon mystery dungeon games:... Am I a joke to you?
Me. I can’t see how people can consider villians who end up being like “lol our plan failed time to join the good guys” to be actual villians!
Lusamine. Hold my bag

Hi I am Sky

I noticed something quite interresting
the first repeating intro tones as a melody remind me a lot of how a jellyfish's movement could sound, this kind of pulsating up and down and the overall tone of the music is so alien like and otherworldly
I love the details in the theme
Since Lusamine's favorite Pokemon (and maybe even favorite being) is Nihilego

Hi father.
I really like the fact that her hair is covering her eyes, it really gives her character a mysterious vibe.
I really want to play Sun and Moon to see what people are saying about Lusamine, but I'm like 4 generations behind...
Play it. It's self-contained enough to work.
matt0044 Oh if that's true I might jump in. How much have the mechanics changed since Diamond and Pearl? Is it a big leap?
itll be really accessible, since a lot of the big changes to the formula were actually made back in gen 4
you should definitely go ahead and get into it! nobody's expecting people to play every game in the series when its pokemon (or at least they dont get mad when you admit you havent lmao)
BraveBird I got it! Thanks for the info!
Pretty big.
If you like this game, you can always go back and check out Gen Five and Six. Five especially.

I wasn't surprised when she was a villain, but boy did her team catch me off guard! And one hell of a theme to go with it.
Lusamine: fusing with ultra beasts and fighting kids
Lillie: Carrying the power of the moon/sun in her bag
Gladion: Owning a beast who can change types and was made for killing ultra beasts
Mohn: P O K E B E A N S
Not gonna lie, I don't think Lusamine was psychologically stable in the first place.
She was actually, the anime is a great representation of how she would be like if she wasn't infected by nihiliego (idk how it's spelled)
She was depressed and neglected her kids bc mohn disappeared but at the end of the alola anime she is way more stable
@@idols9286
The anime is a different canon from the games and the manga, so anime Lusamine might be different from game Lusamine.
@Ellie that is an opinion
Just such an amazing villain! I don’t love the sun and moon games too much, but the pokemon, story, characters, and region itself are just all amazing!
Lusamine: * Confronts player on how they discard unwanted pokemon to the PC *
Lillie: "That is completely irrelevant!"
Player: *"No no, she's got a point."*
Only Minako Adachi could off something this equally frightening and beautiful.
This is why she's the best composer of the series.
Factual!
ADACHI!!
Lusamine is hands down the best villain in a Pokemon game and this track kinda sounds like a Kingdom Hearts boss battle theme.
N is an anti-villain.
She is actually a lot like Queen Sectonia from Kirby 3D; she became obsessed with beauty to the point of becoming insane (having assistance from Nihilego on Lusamine's part) and becoming cruel towards even those who were close to her. And let's not forget, both fused with another living thing.
Ohtori Sakuya
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon has better music, *_MUCH_* better stories, and of course, better villains, imo.
