Wow, you're original. I feel like every other perfume reviewer on UA-cam is copying each other and then you show up with fragrances i've never even heard about. Invest in a better camera and microphone, this channel is going to get huge.
Remember you from Sebastian’s channel. Didn’t know you started a channel. Looking forward to more content. I appreciate your fragrance choices and reviews. Good job.
Will try Memo African and Black Afghano. Appreciate your advice especially because of your fragrance background. I bought Caron in pour homme because of your recommendation and love it. Hope Paris opens soon so this American can get over there! Enjoy,
Memo African Leather is one of my favourite fragrances, its so sexy, so powerful and I save it for when I really want to make an impression. Its a cardamom bomb in the best way. Like Ashley says, its fills a room. Worth every penny.
Tobacco Rose! Yes! Totally with you on Jubi too. With your experience in the field, I wonder if you could grace us with a video on the leather accord incorporating some of your favourite leather-dominant fragrances? Great to see you again Ashley!
Glad to see you back! Have 5 from your list! I love African Leather I received a broken sample and all the envelope smell amazing I bought a bottle almost instantly. Need to try the ELDO and Invasion Barbare. Thanks for the list Ashley!
I love your taste and the way you describe fragrances ever since the videos you did with Sebastian lol. I’m definitely gonna give a couple of these a try, thank you for the recommendations :)
You’re so cool... LOVE your picks. You should post more often! Some of my sexiest are: Musc Ravaguer Hindu Kush MFK Oud Extrait Layton Exclusif Interlude Black Iris Blessed Baraka Straight to Heaven Extreme Roja Danger BDK Tabac Rose Tauer Au Coeur du desert
yAssss!! An Ashley video!! I have to try Jubilation and African Leather again... Halfetti Cedar and Orange Sanguine are at the top for men on my list. 🥰 How's work going? 😀
I looooove Orange Sanguine. I just can’t get it to last on me, but it’s gorgeous. Work is has been amazing. It was always my dream to be a perfumer and somehow the reality is even better :)
Ashley, your leisurely delivery is always charming and hilarious to me for some reason :-) Great picks as well. I'm perpetually on the fence about African Leather, but now I'm leaning towards a purchase. Thanks for the nudge.
Love this list especially the Serge and POAL. Would love to see you do a men’s video for older/younger stages of life, like Gentleman’s scents for the more mature confident professional men like Bel Ami, Heritage, Eau Sauvage & NR for Him. Then a video for younger men maybe in party settings, like JPG Le Male Parfum etc… and a video for versatile scents that could work for any age like Bleu De Chanel, Dior Homme and Versace Pour Homme, a 3 part video? And maybe similar videos for women too? thanks for the content, always looking forward to your videos! Sorry, seems pretty demanding lol just some hopeful ideas!
Thanks for the video. I love black afghano (btw good afghan ash us very spicy and aromatic, not exactly the same scent but same family), my sexiest I would say is Blessed Barraka from Initio (I like it better than Oud for greatness which is great), and Sticky Fingers from Francesca Bianchi (the patchouli is like a chocolate cake! Addictive).
Unrelated to this video but a question I'm curious to get your opinion on given your education - how much does the air to perfume ratio actually affect a fragrance long-term? A lot of designer fragrances have huge bottle options (e.g. 200ml) that give you a better price per ml, but 50ml left in a 200ml bottle leaves a lot more room for air than 50ml left in a 100ml bottle. I have a lot of fragrances so 50ml left in a 200ml bottle can last years for me, so would it be smarter to get a 100ml bottle instead?
Thank you for the video , I love these choices. Still have not pulled the trigger on Invasion Barbare. Do you think it is fine for the office in a professional setting? I know African Leather is not. May get that for date nights. Although I do think Irish Leather would be office appropriate. Would love to know your thoughts.
Hi Ashley, great Review, give a try to Rosendo Mateu 5, for me it’s doesn’t get more Sensual than that!I will have to try also Abraj from The Spirit of Dubai which from what I heard is a combination of Creed Aventus and MDCI Invasion Barbare! I have Nichane from Hacivat which is my Aventus(in the opening) and the King Dior Homme Parfum!Man i I almost forgot MFK Oud Extait... All The Best from Brussel!
Slightly different tack from “sexy” per se but related…for me, the frag that evokes intimacy in an invitational way and, thereby, is sort of sexy is Nudiflorum by nasomatto. For me it captures the sense of intimate personal space and interpersonal connection that’s very sexy.
Ashley, Hello! While I'm currently not a subscriber to your channel, I just happen to come across this video, and your list confirms that I've a good sense of smell and great taste in fragrances, owning or having own more than half frags in your list. Lol! Excellent list for sure! If you've gotten your nose on them, would live to hear your thoughts on ADP Note De Colonia 3 and private label by jovoy. Best. A2!
How old is your bottle of Jubilation? I bet I've tried 5 samples of Jubilation from 2-3 different stores, barely noticeable after a few hours, which makes me sad because I love it.
@@ashleyinparisvideos based on a number of comments on fragrantica and my personal experience, I think they may have. If you get time and can get a sample from a newer bottle, I'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts on old vs new.
Same experience here. Smells absolutely incredible and gone in 5min. What a huge disappointment! I wrote Amouage and expressed my dissatisfaction then returned the bottle.
It’s been reformulated. I own a bottle and now it’s super weak. It’s skin smell and doesn’t last. This is my experience with older fragrances from Amouage. If you wanna buy anything from this brand, stick to their newer fragrances.
@@X4XP11 thanks for confirming and agreed. I bought overture man from herrods a few months ago, most unique scent I have and doesn't require much, it was very expensive but we'll worth it IMO.
a little too many hand movements babe, was a bit distracting, but you getting there. Would love to watch a video on best work boss projecting fragrances
Ashley, please reach out to Aaron Terence Hughes and do a collab with him. I have a LOT more trust in both of your opinions RE: fragrance than many of the reviewers. Could be a great meeting of the minds here on the Tube. 2 professional reviewer/perfumers that both suffer from the adorable Dancing Hands Syndrome would be awesome.
Would definitely NOT want to see a collab with that “self proclaimed” perfumer, who has no schooling and got his training from a kiddie cocktail oil set in his craft room, which is all fine and well until he made videos bashing and trashing the creations of master perfumers who are graduates of the worlds top fragrance institutes and have themselves created legendary fragrances, he’s trying to give naive viewers the impression that he and his perspective/talents are superior to that of the real professionals he is critiquing? I feel his approach to establish credibility in the world of fragrance is very warped and conceited.

Ashley's hyping back the legendary, that is now overshadowed by recent releases, Black Afgano for a good reason!
