The highly anticipated... Ashley’s niche list. She didn’t disappoint either. Great list and analysis. I would love to see her make a video of, maybe not her whole collection but maybe her favorite five or ten scents in her personal collection and what she loves about them? Or five or ten favorite scents that she loves to smell on others. Another great video would be to do a feature spotlight on a perfumer, one who she admires or who’s work is an inspiration to her and maybe describe and highlight some of the scents they’ve created that motivate and inspire her? Just a thought? I think it would make a great video
I really like your guest and her taste. She's not snobby because she's so open and attentive to your opinion. She's knowledgeable though and I like her taste.
I have been binge watching fragrance reviews on YT for weeks now and this is BY FAR the best! You two make a great pair. Really enjoyed this. Hope you guys do more together!
She's amazing. Love her eloquence, knowledge, and gift with words. Dainty, yet strong on her choices. She most definitely knows what she likes, which ironically couldn't be further from dainty. 😊😍
This concept is great and unique! I love video where there’s a conversation about the fragrance rather than just a first person review. Have her back soon.
Absolutely splendid video Sebadtien. Thanks for inviting Ashley, i also enjoyed watching video the other guest that compared cookies to gourmand frgrances. Truly artistic!
Terrific topic and video! Ashley is a great guest. The two of you have a nice energy. I have to say that I had a shirt just like Ashley's back in the day, and she wears it better. Thank you, Ashley, for saying "dated" instead of "old lady".
I agree that Portrait of a Lady is such a misleading name, it's such a dark rose, so powerful so radiant - quite masculine but a woman can also pull it off! Great video!
I was so excited to watch this video, and it’s so nice seeing Ashley again and getting her perspective on niche fragrances from your collection. There are too many now that I have to go & try, but I’m happy to see Musc Ravageur in the top since I just bought that fragrance. 😅 Weirdly, I had picked up a bottle of Sanguine Muskissime by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier at Nordstrom many many years ago not knowing anything about the house or niche fragrances. The parfumeur was there signing bottles, and I just went for it. Sadly, the scent itself wasn’t one I reached for often, but I still have the bottle and am very curious to try Ambre Precieux.
Ashley is always on point. Intelligent and beautiful! Another great video...really enjoyed this. Best description of Fort & Manle; Raunchy & Fruity!! Lol!!
She is JUST SUCH a beautiful person, with a super pleasent voice - it is the PERFECT team, when You two work together! And of course - it is SO so refreshing to hear from a person, who is in training to be a perfumer, its just such a unique twist to it. MUCH better than every other fragrance review videoes, outthere! Hugs from Denmark
I don't usually watch videos over 10-minutes but could've watched Ashley give her thoughts and recommendations for another hour. Her natural engagement presence is as alluring as the fragrances.
Sebastian, great videos all around but I gotta say, Ashley's a great guest on your channel and the two of you are great together. Super informative and enjoyable. I'd love to see more reviews with the two of you. Here's an idea. The top 5, 6, or even 10 scents that you'd recommend for friend if she, he, or they asked you for your advise.
I agree on the Molecule for sure. The only 2 I own is 1 & 4. I hate 1 now, & have been in total love with 4 for over a yr. PPl always ask what I am wearing when I have 4 on!
Nice one Sebashley!! :D What about a video that talks about a Bespoke fragrance you would make (listing ideal ingredients) and a following video on who would you love to assign (brand) the production of your own fragrance? I am sure you will get many people commenting on what their dream pyramid notes are and also who would themselves would love their bottle to be made from. And with Ashley around it would be deeply informative as she might help with what goes well, what is hard to blend, and so on... :) Thanks for sharing!
Oh Royal Oud is probably one of my personal favorites, it’s probably a top 3 for me. I just feel so comfortable in it and just feel like it fits me personally and works exceptionally well with my skin. Disappointed it did not make her cut.... her designer list was spot on though, I own and love probably 15 of the 20 on that list.
Q Q too many to list haha but just to name a few... Bel Ami, Bois De Iles, Coromandel, Encre Noire, Oud Wood, Carven Homme, L’ombre Dans L’eau, Diptyque Eau Mage... I could go on and on, CDG Black, Heritage, Platinum Egoiste, MFK Oud... are some of them.
Best video I''ve seen in awhile! Excellent list, Ashley has good taste, as do you. I have many of these fragrances so I guess I have good taste too :) There are a few that I don't yet have, but will eventually. I agree with both of you in regard to Lyric Man, freshest rose fragrance there is (imo), but I think many men have a rose/feminine sense memory thing. I get a booziness from Herod as well, PdM's fragrances are incredibly well blended. Sometimes it's difficult to dissect them note from note, for me, at least. I could go on and on, but I'll save it. Loved it! Thanks again.
Great list and equally great presentation! Some of my reactions are: What is it that B22 was picked instead of Nio? And why Herod is ranked higher than Naxos? Thank you!
Introducing FragComm to Ashley will be credited to you Sebastian. She is going to end up being a wonderful asset to the community over time. The banter you two have is just perfect, I think exactly what most frag heads want in video reviews as much as possible. Added bonus that she's as beautiful as you are. ;)
This is the first time I see a video on your channel with Ashley as guest, and she just makes it so great. Her obvious passion and knowledge shine through, and I especially enjoy how sure-footed she is with preferences & quick with her descriptions of them. I just feel her brilliance. Wow! As a side comment-since you bring up cumin, and Ashley says she likes that note-I’m sorry to say that I “de-spice” it. (hehe) I even leave it out of recipes (taco, chili, etc) because of that-please allow me to be blunt/gauche here-B.O. note. However, I have to say that I was shockingly surprised to find that I truly enjoyed the cumin in Jubilation 25! Wonders never cease
Can you or Ashley offer suggestions on how to improve at picking out specific notes. Things such as labdinum, iso e, tuberose, etc are difficult to separate. Can one obtain pure notes to become better ? Do they do this in fragrance school?
Great stuff! You know, I'd love to see you and Ashley pair some of your favourite fragrances with a certain style, look, destination or music, just so we can get a broader idea of how you percieve the scent. I personally think it would be great if review channels started incorporating different aspects of life (food, fashion, lifestyle, etc) into their reviews, just to help put fragrances into a more realistic context. This way, it helps keep the hobby in perspective, as well as giving us a better enthusiast's idea of the fragrance concept without succumbing to the cliche images pushed by the advertising campaign. After all, what's life without a little imagination!! Thanks Sebastian!
Wow Ambre Precieux was my favorite amber when this line was sold at SF Nordstrom’s, they have a wooden scent ball too! Yes Jean Laporte did start LArtisan Parfumeur as well! Great choices !
GREAT VID and again, great chemistry and give and take. I have to say that what makes Berg 22 so compelling for me is that it is BOTH sunshine/citrus in a bottle but then plummets to this cozy scent and no, I am not just talking about staying close to the skin. LOTS of surprises. LOVE Rose 31 and that the list included a number of frags with that scent. It can be very masculine and still retain it;s essence which I believe is so beautiful. I have to get MOntale's Intense Cafe, that's just all there is to it. I NEED MORE PERFUMES! Still waiting to pull the trigger on my first FM. Eau de Magnolia is ok, but I have to spray POAL. i GIFTED a sample to my niece who was in a wedding and i wanted her to smell special. Hey, I am a good uncle, what can I say? jk EXCELLENT, as per usual!
Such a wonderful video Sebastian! The 25 minutes flew by! A suggestion for a video you should make is a list of the best places to smell/shop fragrances in San Francisco (and or around the world.) I am planning a trip to SF soon and need to know all the hot spots! Thanks again for the vid!
Such a great video! Keep your collaboration going! After Ashley picked Replica - by the Fireplace I simply dont wonder why she love Herod.. in my opinion by the Fireplace has Herod and Eau des Missions as his parents.. (; I definitely have to try out some of those parfums pretty soon!
Brilliant! Absolutely a great combination to have Ashley with you. I love to hear both of you sharing your thoughts on these fragrances... In fact, I will have to watch this video more than once and take notes. Might be your best video ever... Since Ashley loves gourmand notes, how about having her go through your collection and choose her favorite gourmand scents too! Thanks so much!
Fast becoming my best frag Chanel As a fairly new guy (only 23 fragrances) Plz could you do a series on the technical terms Smells.....types......ingredients.....and so on and so on. Big ask Love from the uk 🇬🇧
Love this video ! Ashley is a lovely girl and a sharp nose ! Love lot of these scents (don't know all of them), specially Musc Ravageur, Ambre Russe and Ambre Précieux (but I prefer Ambre Mythique on my skin) ! I have to discover Tempo !
Would Musc Ravageur be considered a Gourmand fragrance? I am usually drawn to dark, woodsy, Oud and slightly floral scents (Rose/Oud) and dislike strongly sweet or vanilla fragrances.
Great videos as always. she knows a lot about perfumes. just one question?: what was it with andy tauer and ADP oud that make them miss the cut. I'm wondering about that coz I love both.
Hey Sebastian, Ashley really knows a lot about fragrances..... So far the best female reviewer on UA-cam, I'm interested in Amouage's LYRIC MAN , so how about it ... hehe !!
Love watching your parfum videos.. I learn a lot from u ....I have a question.. Witch of the oud parfums do. u recommend for woman..I love the spicy and or woodesy scents..as well as the oud parfums.. If y can help thanks..
I love all of your guests, Ashley is on point, but imo POAL is unisex and it's one of my faves. I am surprised that she left Grand Soir out (another fave of mine) being that she's a fan of Amber.
Things are getting personal now..... turned down Creed Royal Oud but likes the super watered down Bal Afrique which is nice but won’t last past 1 hr- I’m tuning off. Sorry.
Overall, some good selections especially Herod, which is my favorite from PdM. Creation E is another one I enjoy. Recently tried Portrait of a Lady, after hearing a lot of positive comments on it. Honestly, it's just ok for me. Something I didn't like about the opening. Tom Ford's Noir de Noir and even Harem Rose by Fort & Manle I find to be better.
I think I will stop by Union Square to check some of these out. However, Herod...the more I wear it the more I fall in love. It provides that warm, yet clean feeling that calms me during work. However, I am intrigued by a similar scents that are Vetiver based such as Grey Vetiver or the ones mentioned on this list. Any list of clean Vetiver fragrances to check out? I trust your thoughts.
Do you mean San Francisco Union Square? I love Vetiver in general but can't think of who has which vetivers nearby. If you are in SF stop in Gumps to smell some Roja and the Roja Vetiver in this video. The Gumps store is closing and the Roja scents are 20% off. You can go to ZGO in the Castro and smell Incident Diplomatique which is a vetiver patchouli.
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews Yes I do! Just moved to the Bay area 3 weeks ago. I have checked out ZGO and will check out Gumps. Just found your Vetiver videos!
Great review although I feel devastated. On the designers list, almost all my fragrances were on the list. Now only two, herod and naxos. Grand soir and royal oud did not pass the cut and my other 20 niches were not mentioned. 😭
Ashley u should have ur own UA-cam channel to talk about cologne u will do great better than every other UA-camrs I really know what u talking about i hope u do
Hi, i was just binge watching some of your videos and i saw one where you mentioned reviewing azzaro pour homme edition noir in the future. I would love to see a video on this one specifically or maybe a comparison of pour homme and its flankers. PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE!
Another insightful video! Does anyone know where I can get samples or deca ts of these fragrances? I tried Scentbird and their service has been a nightmare for me.
They way everyone hypes HEROD, I have now finally concluded that I must have picked up the worst of all the Herod batches, cos I don't get any out-of-this-world feeling when I use mine. It's a worthy frag in my collection no doubt, but nothing that spins the head. mho

Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews great video.
More with Ashley and wish her luck in her future as a perfumer.
Ashley is one of the best guests in this section of the media! She is lovely and knowledgeable too! Keep up the great work, Sebastian!
Mahmood Salam I have to agree! I love her descriptions.

I absolutely loved this video! Ashley is such a great guest, love her passion and knowledge! Killer list 💪😍
Ashley is the best guest ever on any fragrance channel I've seen. Please please please do more vids with her.
Can you do a version for female? both designer and niche please! really like her!
I really like your guest and her taste. She's not snobby because she's so open and attentive to your opinion. She's knowledgeable though and I like her taste.

YES.!!!!...ASHLEY is BACK!!!
She is sooooo ADORABLE!
This concept is great and unique! I love video where there’s a conversation about the fragrance rather than just a first person review. Have her back soon.
I would love to see more videos with Ashley doing women's fragrances
Absolutely splendid video Sebadtien. Thanks for inviting Ashley, i also enjoyed watching video the other guest that compared cookies to gourmand frgrances. Truly artistic!

Ha I know a dirty jasmine too!! Great video, you make an excellent duo. I would like to hear Ashley discuss her own favourite scents
I don't usually watch videos over 10-minutes but could've watched Ashley give her thoughts and recommendations for another hour. Her natural engagement presence is as alluring as the fragrances.
Thank you. Here's the Designer Edition of this video as well: ua-cam.com/video/_sMori-9LiA/v-deo.html

Just ordered me the brand spankin’ new Diptyque release... 34 Boulevard Saint Germain Eau De Parfum! Can’t wait!
My favorite female guest of all fragrance reviewers channel. Always love her views. Thanks Sebastian!
Hmmmmmm nice presentation n frags....
Sebastian have you done any TOP 20 IRIS FRAGS LIST YET ???? if not would love to see.
Soon working on that one! :)
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews that will be good

You make a fantastic duo! Her descriptions of the fragrances are really wonderful.❤
Fantastic to see ashley back , it's like watching too friends with an encyclopedia of knowledge about what i love 👍
Great video.
Great list and equally great presentation! Some of my reactions are: What is it that B22 was picked instead of Nio? And why Herod is ranked higher than Naxos? Thank you!
2 years late but my heart sang when Ashley said FM’s une rose was her favorite - I completely agree!
Ashley is so cute and I am totally impressed with her nose and her analysis. I really enjoy the interaction between you two.

You are so right about cumin. Horrible note. Cartier Declaration is body odor in a bottle.
Can you or Ashley offer suggestions on how to improve at picking out specific notes. Things such as labdinum, iso e, tuberose, etc are difficult to separate. Can one obtain pure notes to become better ? Do they do this in fragrance school?
Ashley is a great guest reviewer. Energy was great and she seems to know her stuff. You gotta bring her back once things start returning to normal.
If you love amber, I recommend trying Amouage Opus VI. It has this very luxurious, gourmand sweetness, and it lasts for days!
Great review. I like how you challenged her with questions and she had great answers.
Keep doing what you are doing. love your content and taste in fragrances. started my journey with vetiver primarily because of you
Great stuff! Nice review great to see Ashley back and love her take, good to see she has Herod to 3. It's one of my favorite..Great job Sebastian!
What a great list. Would love to own all those one day. I’ve smelled 3 of those 20. Enjoyed the video and her as a guest ✌🏻
Fantastic video, your back and forth banter is perfect and each fragrance is very well described
Wow Ambre Precieux was my favorite amber when this line was sold at SF Nordstrom’s, they have a wooden scent ball too! Yes Jean Laporte did start LArtisan Parfumeur as well! Great choices !

Such a wonderful video Sebastian! The 25 minutes flew by!

Thanks again for the vid!
Yes!!! I needed this video, I just tried Carlisle by pdm and I love it, this list helped me pick some other fragrances to try.. I hope all is well 🔥
Great job guys, I really enjoy watching both of you doing fragrance collaboration. Not only is she knowledgeable in fragrance she's also cute.

Love love love this video. Definitely added some more frags to my wishlist. Incredible review as always
Fast becoming my best frag Chanel
As a fairly new guy (only 23 fragrances)
Plz could you do a series on the technical terms
Smells.....types......ingredients.....and so on and so on.
Big ask
Love from the uk 🇬🇧
Hopefully more of those kinds of videos soon. 😄
I am usually drawn to dark, woodsy, Oud and slightly floral scents (Rose/Oud) and dislike strongly sweet or vanilla fragrances.
it is so amazing how fragrances play on your skin, POAL is so feminine to my nose and my husband thinks so too.
Love Ashley. She's seems knowledgeable and personable. She really seems to like rose though, and I'm not a fan of rose fragrance
Really Love Ashley, she is gorgeous and easy going and she knows what she likes. Great video guys
Great review Ashley is AMAZING love her👍
Great video, and Ashley is a beast!
You work very well together to give us fantastic content - so thank you!
I love these types of videos. Watching them gives me so many more fragrances to check out. Thanks.
Great videos as always. she knows a lot about perfumes. just one question?: what was it with andy tauer and ADP oud that make them miss the cut. I'm wondering about that coz I love both.
I love how you and Ashley make videos!! Lots of great perfumes , I have some of them i have sampled some of them too but not all!!❤️❤️
floris honey oud is great, however, I still have an issue with its longivity on my skin specially in the summer
I've just bought Musc Ravageur, i hate the opening but i love the rest 😋such a unique fragrance 😍
SOTD - Ambra Auera by Profumum Roma, my daughter said my room smells like gasoline and oil 😂 she gives the funniest descriptions
Oh wow. Too funny.
Hey Sebastian, Ashley really knows a lot about fragrances..... So far the best female reviewer on UA-cam, I'm interested in Amouage's LYRIC MAN , so how about it ... hehe !!
Her nose and ability to articulate herself clearly and interestingly is so so good to watch.
Great video and incredible picks as always. Totally agree on the whole honey smelling urine like thing. Regretting my bottle of mamluk!
your favorite and some of my favorite great list as always! good job both of you
Ashley , Nice job
Please , please list the top ten of this niche list
Love watching your parfum videos.. I learn a lot from u ....I have a question.. Witch of the oud parfums do. u recommend for woman..I love the spicy and or woodesy scents..as well as the oud parfums.. If y can help thanks..
Loved this video, I learn a lot from you two.
She's very articulate and easy on the eyes too. cheers sir .
Baccarat rouge 540 colonio oud layton are my top niche picks
I love all of your guests, Ashley is on point, but imo POAL is unisex and it's one of my faves. I am surprised that she left Grand Soir out (another fave of mine) being that she's a fan of Amber.
Also would you consider doing a video with Ashley and Dalya together?
Loved the video. Ashley is awesome. My favourite guest.
Well you did it! She is amazing and I hope to see her more in your videos or in her own channel.

Just found your Vetiver videos!
Superb video. Thanks to both of you.
Great review although I feel devastated. On the designers list, almost all my fragrances were on the list.
Now only two, herod and naxos. Grand soir and royal oud did not pass the cut and my other 20 niches were not mentioned. 😭
Ashley u should have ur own UA-cam channel to talk about cologne u will do great better than every other UA-camrs I really know what u talking about i hope u do
Hello. Enjoyed video. Does Ashley have any videos?
Very nice, I was hoping for this!
great list!
Straight to heaven wear in heat! tks for the tips , what teamperture of heat do you think will fit perfectly
tks S + A
Hi, i was just binge watching some of your videos and i saw one where you mentioned reviewing azzaro pour homme edition noir in the future. I would love to see a video on this one specifically or maybe a comparison of pour homme and its flankers. PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE!
Possibly yes. Was planning something like that so pleas stay tuned! :)
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews sure will! Or if you don’t review it at least a message to me of your thoughts of this fragrance. Can’t wait.
If you don't see a video in the next few weeks hit me up again and I'll figure it out. I only have Azzaro Pour Homme and 2015 EDP versions.
Thx Sebastian
Great Duo!
I wonder how her list would have changed is designer exclusives were allowed - Chanel Exclusifs or Maison Christian Dior
I love these epic lists of 20! That's how we roll, top 5s and top 10s are overplayed
Ashley is great!
Great video, Sebastian!
How the heck did she not like Royal Oud and Au Coeur? Damn.
It's not that she didn't like them she left them off as they didn't fit the top 20! :)

Never tried the other one but I don't like Royal Oud ;)
Great video. This came out well .

They way everyone hypes HEROD, I have now finally concluded that I must have picked up the worst of all the Herod batches, cos I don't get any out-of-this-world feeling when I use mine. It's a worthy frag in my collection no doubt, but nothing that spins the head. mho
Byredo for women I’m looking for powdery scent do you know which one is it ?
