Hey skill capped. I really love your videos. I am a top laner, could you do a couple more videos specifically for top lane? I have watched all the ones you have already made
Can you guys create a jungle guide next? I often feel like I don't see any lanes that are gankable but I know I must be wrong, a guide on how to find more ganks when it seems impossible and how to successfully pull them off would be really nice.
@@gideon8116 elise for example is bad with raptors so I prefer to invade enemies blue side cause gromo and wolves are easier or gank more as elise's third lvl is demolishing
Its a big irony for me to be a jungler main and die to ganks as much as I do when I lane. I end up focusing so much in trying to trade and farm that I forget to look at the map.
Hey can you guys do a video on how good the Baron buff is and how to use it optimally? I feel like people in low elo don't know how good it is and even when we get it, they have no idea how to use it.
Probably not. Knowing and doing are different things. We learn many magnificent things in the videos on this channel but if you don't practice a lot, it's unnecessary.
You do realize there can only be 100 challenger players at the time on each server? If everyone was as good as a challenger player, then requirements for challenger would significantly increase.
mid is probably the hardest lane to gank. even though there are twice more sides enemy can reach you from, lane itself is also twice shorter. perhaps surviving sidelanes (especially top) while maintaining aggression would be much more useful info. you know, whenever jungle difference kicks in, aggression is impossible without dying when playing top. and in some cases you automatically lose lane when you give up on aggression (free cs, exp & scaling for enemy top), there is literally no reliable choice but slowly lose lane or risk losing it hard in this case.
trade when you have cooldown advantage/2v1 positioning (if your support is not afk support)/better sustain/minion wave advantage. playing as the lower range ad in the lane you can slowpush when you have the lane control and once it crashes u maintain lane control by csing the next incoming wave while enemy is csing under tower. playing safe early and just scale generally meansyou have to be willing to give up cs that you will take damage for.
Adc is not even hard laning phase. Out of laning phase is hard though because you need perfect positioning due to all the mobility and burst dmg in the game.
When playing vs the worst enemy ADC, Caitlyn: Proactive pick supp (e.g. Thresh): let them help you zone her Proactive enchanter (Lulu): she might be able to zone OR keep you healthy while you CS Passive supps: Don't lose health going for CS, let the Cait push you under tower and farm there; she'll try harassing you under your tower but if you didn't lose too much health before, you should be fine. She might take plating. That's how the MU works and really, only roams, TPs or supp picks can alleviate this pressure. You have no agency over this unless you can hard outtrade her at this point and zone her yourself with scary damage (Draven, Kalista - compare Aphelios). If you can't, just try to constantly remind yourself of your insane mid/lategame and focus on CS'ing without dying. Now, when she starts freezing near her tower, you might have a problem that can only be fixed by being REALLY patient - eventually the wave will have to start pushing again - or by calling for jgl help. Above the lowest ELO, a dive might be possible if you remembered to stay healthy. Anyhow, if she freezes like that you have priority so you can go deepward and pray your jungler starts making aggressive plays around the botside (enemy jgl/river/drake). Just remember that dying is WAY worse than just missing CS, as long as you stay close enough for exp, and keep in mind what you'll bring to the table later over Caitlyn if you manage to at least stay afloat and don't give her more (kills) than she can naturally take with her disgusting kit.
It’s quite awkward that even in diamond elo, the enemy farming jungler usually dosen’t full clear at all. So I usually ran into them at a strange timing.😂
So what I got from this except from trading, wave management and mechanics. Is that you need to have a good map awareness and always try to track the jungler and then you behave accordingly, either push or play "safe".
Same concept. You're much more safe since the jungler can only come down from the river but you might need to rely on mid and supp to provide vision of the jungler.
pretty much the same thing only with more limited warding options. ascertain whether you win the matchup or not, figure out where the jungler is, ward appropriately with that information, play aggressive when possible and passive when necessary. like he says in the video, he knew a ton of shit before laning ever started, including how olaf likes to jungle (full clears), so you have to fill in those blanks as well. what does the enemy jungler usually do in this meta? full clear? level 2 gank? then use that to figure out where they might be so you can be aggro if the matchup allows
The thing is, a lot of jThe thing is, a lot of junglers have no idea about the route they should be pathing to and clear their camps in a random order.. means you can only supposed where they are at, but half of the time you're wrong and eat a random gank from somewhere else
@@surumeman7195 you don't really have bad match ups, just annoying ones like hiemdinger syndra zyra zoning champion that make hard to dive them. So rushing defensive AP items instead of burst AP items make the lane easier
yeah, but that only really works for mid lane. You can't ward raptors or any camp at top or bot without leaving lane, so you actually would need to push to the enemy tower, then go ward and go back.
How do i know when i should push The lane and when i shouldnt? I mean in what matchups i should and which i shouldnt. Is it depending on if i have good wave clear or anything else?
Max Mattsson It depends on how you approach the matchup, if you are in a favorable matchup u can generally push, but if you lack wave clear, then you have to adapt cause u might slow push it right before the turret so that the laner can set up a frezze.
