      For your transom shower,
A recess, 2 foot long across the top of the crew door, that houses a 2 foot vertical swing out shower rod that fits into the recess.
Or you could make a lift up door to hide it away 100% in the recess.
      Love the shop talk.

You choose to build at Bering so you know that you aren't taking any unnecessary risks with your life, your yacht, your crew, the environment, your clients and most of all yourself. They may not cut the costs, but you know for a fact they didn't cut any corners. The added benefit of having AC in the engine room is that you know someone isn't going to rush the job just to hurry up and get out of there, thus making sure someone wasn't on the verge of heat stroke about ready to collapse and rushed to do the job just so they could leave. They can take their time and not rush them make sure everything is completed correctly.

As a professional in the construction industry I can say that it would be very easy for Alexei to be bummed out or put out by all of the owners customizations. In construction you always like to do things the same as you did the last time and avoid unknowns. Granted that this is a little different than slapping together an apartment building, but Alexei's attitude is very commendable and you can tell he wants the best customer experience and doesn't care if that comes with some additional complications. It's been cool to get to know him through these videos and he seems like a cool guy and an asset to Bering.

I also have a few items that require either shore or genset for AC source. I do not require the genset at all while running and my genset requirements without shore power are quite limited. It's nice to see that I moved in the direction of the "big guys". It must be very exciting for you to participate in this build process.

It's great that you three are constantly thinking of ideas a ways to make areas flexible, capable of serving many uses. You do have great stability in your video shooting. I hardly ever have to think of the camera, it's like being there.

Another great video - your excitement about the boat build is contagious. I'd love to hear more about what sort of gear Rico is using for his DJ performances. There is so much good stuff out there. Better yet, what about a UA-cam channel performance! Victoria, you are missing one of the simple pleasures of life if you don't know how to ride a bicycle. Don't start with an electric one, as they can get the better of you. The step-thru models are best for a beginner - you can get your feet down on the ground quickly if needed. Try one out in person at a bike store, because the frame size can mess you up if it's too big or too small. Wear helmet, knee and elbow pads, gloves and good shoes (no flip-flops!) while you're getting the hang of it. It's a life-changer. I ride around 1,000 miles each year at 70 and it beats meditation for me. Great to see and hear Alexei as always - you are quite the Renaissance man for our times sir!

I can't tell you how impressed I am with Mr. Alexei! He's so down-to-earth and receptive to your ideas. I'm currently building my own house and I'm SO tired of suggesting new ideas to sub-contractors and having them say 'no, this is how we've always done it' and not even considering my ideas.

Luxury resides in customer service. Prime materials and the latest technology is important, but finding a way to say "yes" to your clients is the key.

You're going to be onboard your amazing 75 doing a video and then Alexi is going to say "Hold my beer..........." and rock up to yours with their show Bering 145 and his own DJ set.
Bring on the Alexi vs Rico DJ competition! lol

Victoria, I like your idea of turning the crane sideways and making it into a bar top. I don't remember if that was on one of your walkthroughs before or I saw it on Tristan's channel. But I do remember it was a pretty cool layout.

@@NautiGuys have you and Rico figure it out a ballpark figure for one week charter in the Bahamas? Now would be a good time for me to start saving and my family. I assume your boat build will be approximately a year and 9 months.

Great video as usual guys! Love the idea of making the crane a multi use accessory bar top / DJ station. My suggestion is to check out whether the cap, whatever material it may be, is possible to affix to the crane using the Quikfix system... That way, it can be removed and temporarily stored when the crane is in use (to protect it), or be removed to be refurbished or refinished (if it were teak for example), or replaced if you sold the boat and a new owner wanted to change the styling or material (say, from teak to a marble top).
    Keep 'em coming 👍

i am so OCD, and i realise that much of what you see is work in progress, cables and pipes coiled up before being cut and put into final position, but i am always amazed at how much spaghetti is involved in these machines, when i think back to the days of my early cars wiring and systems were dead simple, then cars got brains, computers, and the wiring industry went into over drive, ps i scrap every piece of wire i can correctly so it can be recycled, and i often think there has to be an easy way to run wiring, having central buses running through out - but engine rooms don't just have electrics and wiring, there's coolant, oils, fuel, fresh water, air ducting, its mad, how does anyone make it all fit - respect to all them little engineers fitting this stuff
love the idea of shifting the tender and doing something with the crane, turn it into a functioning bar etc, i have to say with such luxury boats, of course its a must to have a tender, but when you have to keep loading it on and off deck, and it taking up what i feel is valuable space, i often wonder why it cannot be shift to the bow in the forward work space, all about space, safety, and convenience, if its at the front, how to access it etc, but then if it has to be at the rear can it be part of the dive deck, imagine a dive deck that disconnects and use as a tender, that could be interesting, anyone remember 2000 leagues i think it was, had one or two small paddle boats that fitting into the rear deck of the Nautilus, but the other modern concept of just sliding a boat out the side of the mother ship is just as awesome
i can see Alexei in the future, retired off onto the Bering Yacht, showing it off to clients, what a dreadful lifestyle hehe
