I think athletes should be more financed, it is outrageous the little money they get for being the best in the world and the effort and work they put in.

9:10 spot on. It's a flawed mindset from people that they think doing well at the Olympics means they'll become a millionaire celebrity like Tom Daley. We keep hearing from people lines like "we need more support for our Olympians" or that we "should" be doing more for them. Why? They're doing their sport, no one's making them do it. If you can't get a sponsorship deal, that's on you. Make yourself more marketable, and if you can't, then it's not for you. It's not nice, but that's life unfortunately.

@treyborn2931 Really? Just 32,000 pounds should get more than that. The golden boy in the Philippines, got almost 2 million U.S dollars in cash from government and private donations, from billionaire people, besides a 3 bedroom condo, house and lot from government tax free, 5 well known restaurant lifetime sponsorship you can eat, and soon commercial advertisements for different products for more money.

Random title for a video that has nothing to do with the topic
This video should consider a different title as the topic of funding is not covered until minute 9 and then only for about 1% of the video.
Thanks for saving me from wasting my time with this one. Can’t stand click bait. 😠
And probably for a very small handful of countries. Channels are so outrageously clickbaity

I am more interested in the U.S. athletes; how do they make money?
They don’t …or the same way British athletes do if you are lucky enough to win a gold medal you get about 32,000 other than that you have to get a job
