I don’t think I can’t thank you enough for sharing this series, I love love learning more about the behind the scenes of my favorite sport and it’s super inspiring because I dream with working in F1❤
Hi, thank you for watching. Indeed, Singapore did hold Formula 1's very first night race the year before Abu Dhabi, but F1 makes a distinction between 'twilight' and 'night' races.
@@CNBCi You're still wrong. Just after the quote you played the sound of a V10 F1 engine. Which are sadly no longer used. Almost two decades old that sound.
@@Sill1992 can't really blame CNBC, Netflix, and anyone else since it IS the superior sound that better reflects the spectacle. with the development of sustainable fuels it's even likely to make a return
Think its European races that are less likely to get gov't support/funding so they're more at risk at being removed from the F1 calandar as they may need more fans to break even
Yeah, Silverstone 2021 was one of the worst races ever, where Hamilton almost killed Verstappen on purpose!! Horrible moment and Hamilton wasn't punished at all. Yeah, a 10 sec penalty for trying to kill your opponent. Worst moment in the history of the sport and won't be forgotten! 😢
@@robwindy7949 Damn Max almost died?! What were his injuries? And what's the usual penalty for intentionally hurting someone? Don't these guys consciously sign up for danger? I thought crashes were part of the game.
Max hit the wall at 51G force. Knocked the wind out of him, he lost consciousness. 51g is easily enough G Force to cause shearing trauma to the organs, so yea, max could’ve easily died from Lewis hitting him
@1bluensx LMAO, OKAY - respectfully this is a dangerous sport. No one is intentionally trying to kill anyone on the track. But Max tries quite hard to do so even in Mexico this year what was that about? You kind get what you deserve at the end of the day. Again, NO ONE is intentionally trying to take anyone out man. Come on bruh!
Vettel holds the title for youngest world champion, not Max. Hamilton and Alonso were also younger than Max when they won their first championships.
facts👍
Thank you for flagging this. We have removed the incorrect soundbite from the piece.
@@CNBCi You're welcome! :)
Vettel is the youngest single, double, triple and quadruple world champion. He was 23 when he won his first title, Verstappen was 24
I thought he was 21
CORRECTION: The video has been updated to remove an inaccurate soundbite about F1's youngest world champion.
So many mistakes in this video. Max isn't the youngest WC. 2023 was not the first GP in Las Vegas. 7:00 dubbing in V8 noise over 2023 cars 😭
I picked up on the Las Vegas GP. Think in the 70s they had one there in a parking lot no??
Just amazing what F1 done for fans

Fact check first. Vettle is still the youngest.
singapore is the first twilight grand prix so the intro is wrong

Vettel hold the youngest champion,
Max is 4th youngest after Lewis & Alonso
Local payoff I question this because so many of these events would not take place if it wasn't for government funding, just look at the Melbourne GP.

Verstappen isn't the youngest F1 champion
The F1 kids channel blew my mind 🤘🏻😁
It's so iconic i slept through most of Monaco races
Did you guys just mentioned 2021 - what hypocrites , that was clearly one of the embarrassing days in sports for those who don’t know!

Monaco is the most boring track of them all but F1 cannot afford to lose it.

100% there is going to be a female driver by 2028
No there won’t be. They won’t be able to get their by merit with so many dudes to compete against. F1 isn’t a woke Hollywood movie.
