    Hi! This is an independent review of my top 12 features of these ovens - please let me know if you have cooked pizza in the Nina 8 in 1 and how it cooks for you. I am really enjoying both these ovens and cannot wait to try out the smokey cooking in the Ninja!

    If I was looking for an electric pizza oven, I would prefer the Ninja for it's versatility. I have a kitchen oven with an excellent heavy stone that works perfectly, handles up to 14" pizza and cooks within 8-10 min. I also have a Ooni Koda 16 that is perfect for outdoor pizza in 90 seconds during good weather.

      What's your preferred hydration and oven temp for the dough then when it's 8-10? I guess you're using the ninja as a quick to heat oven then and not pushing it to its 700 degree max?

    • @tjcuneo
      @tjcuneo 7 місяців тому

      I have found that 70% hydration @ 550 F in my home oven works best. The stone (1/2") needs to be preheated for approx. 45-60 min.

      @@tjcuneo oh sorry misread your comment and thought you meant you bought the ninja, which meant you were using it at it's 700f temp. 550 at 10 mins makes a lot more sense 😀

    The Ninja's price point is amazing. There's a new electric pizza oven coming to town soon. It's the Qstove indoor electric oven. It will have two versions for 12" and 16" pizzas. I ordered the 16" version through Kickstarter late last yr. They are finalizing production and it should be available in the next couple months. I'm very excited to have something compact that will be able to cook pizzas quicker than my home oven with steel that only gets up to 500f and heats the entire house up which is not efficient here in Florida.

      I am very excited about the developing market for electric indoor high heat ovens - there are more and more emerging onto the market at quite a pace!! Thanks for sharing!

    The fact that the Ooni costs twice as much is completely unjustified! I tried both and I prefer the Ninja!

    Ninja is Outdoor only because people will put wood pellets in and make smoke. Use inside just don't add Wood Smoke Pellets. Ninja is much more Versatile. Pizza, Bread, Chicken, Roasts, etc.
    But you know already I love the Ninja❗🤣 Thanks again and great Job 👍

    • @Got2EatPizza
      @Got2EatPizza  4 місяці тому +1

      Thanks so much! I was thinking of that yesterday, whether Ninja officially would confirm it’s ok to use inside without pellets? That would be so amazing if I could use it inside too. 🍕⚡️

      @@Got2EatPizza Ninja won't "Officially" say it's Okay, because it would be a Liability issue, and people could Sue. That's why it is for Outdoor use only.

    I picked up an Aldi Stirling 400c electric 'wood fire' oven for around 100 pounds and I'm liking it so far, the temp is a little lower than my ooni gas but I was after variety in textures and styles anyway.

    Ooni has a loyalty discount code if you have already got an oven from them. I’m going to get a Volt, being in the wet UK, like you, with a My Lakeland 20% discount code ( which will give me a three year warranty). If I was buying my first oven I’d get the Ninja having seen the reviews. ( I have a Karu12) Thanks for the helpful video.

      Hi! Yes, for some reason when I bought mine from the Ooni site I couldn’t find a code and so paid the full price! 🤪

      @@Got2EatPizza lol there no code as such
      You had to fill a application for him proving you had a oven that you were gifting away then they would supply you with a code for use!

      With what I’ve cooked so far, the Ninja due to its versatility - however…..I live in a wet, rainy climate and the Volt is the only pizza oven I own that cooks inside and so, it has to be the Volt, just for that. I think the Volt is at a premium price range and I think it’s a lot - shop around when there are offers on it -over the last 6 months I’ve seen some good deals on it - it is a super pizza oven!

      @@Got2EatPizzayou mention the steam but I don't find it that bad to use it indoors. Its just water. Its not like it's from wood pellet. I imagine they advertise only outdoors for legal reasons

      Hi -yes - the temp range I believe goes from 150c up to 450c so that should cover quite a few dishes.
