    Super happy with mine and thanks for the tip about timing your pizza to the oven pre heat. Another thing I might add is to place the spinach or basil underneath the mozzarella unless you like crispy greens. It makes pushbutton ribs and chicken as well and sears steaks perfectly. Only thing left is turkey later next month. Between this oven and my Foodi grill I have retired my gas oven. Thanks for the in depth review.

    I think I know why you have to ignite the pellets before the oven will preheat. I think it's because a 15amp circuit won't push enough electricity to ignite pellets and preheat at the same time.

      I believe they ignite and preheat at the same time. They use two separate elements to do the heating. The reason I think this is I have not seen any time difference when preheating with and without smoke. I think it is just showing the icon that way because it can't show IGN and PRE simultaneously. If it was doing one than the other the preheat time when using smoke would be much longer than preheat time without smoke. I guess I need to run a little test.

    That dough looks incredibly tight, how long was it rested?

      I made it the night before at like 6. It did it’s first rest and rise and the sat out overnight. I filmed around 10am. I think the humidity and heat outside affected it.

      Also I admit I have ALOT to learn about the art of true pizza making. Been doing a lot of research and will be hopefully stepping up the game here soon!

    Why didn't you use the smoke function?

      I did. If you look at the 8:09 mark you will see the blinking flame that shows the woodfire or smoking is activated. I even explained that you nee to hit the woodfire button or you wont get any smoke at that point. You can tell that it is on if you see the flame lit up on the front of the unit while cooking. It is on for each of my tests. You might not see big billows of smoke, that is ok. It is just clean smoke. You actually don't want big white puffy smoke, that is dirty smoke, and it can make your food taste bitter.

    Biggest gripe & why I will wait to subscribe.....you're focused on pizza rather than exploring what the oven can TRULY do. I own it and pizza was the 5th thing I cooked. Why? I wanted to know what it was capable of. Do more than pizza and I'll like & subscribe. You're selling short a $300-$400 appliance that can do some amazing things.

    Enjoy you videos:) Great job! But couple of gripes:( Shaking your pellets does not give them separation..it will actually compact them. I am sure this is not a problem but drives me when you say you are giving them separation:) Don't believe me? Fill it up shake them....wala more room for more pellets:) Your"owie"was over exgagerated and you sounded gay? Not that there is anything wrong with that:)!

      I respectfully disagreed with my over exaggeration on my injury lol. I pinched the skin in between my thumb and pointer between two pieces of metal. It caused a huge bruise and blister. It was NOT FUN. As far as the shake goes you may be right, I’m still gonna do it though. 😝
