Stop putting yourself down. You made a beautiful piece. My new house has a zillion windows and I am thinking a different piece in the patio windows. How exciting. You did great.

Anyone else watching this and thinking you can solder with lead came you cant! She kept calling the stick of solder lead came by mistake.....it was a length of solder rolled into a coil....lead came is a totally different thing

You brought out a good point for beginners using a soldering iron, to do a little practice first. That way you can adjust your iron temp control if needed for optimum solder melting before doing your good project. Your kit turned out very nice for being the first stained glass project you've ever tried.

Many years ago I took a stained glass class. We had to choose our pattern, glass, etc, then cut the glass. The instructors had their own business and were not really teachers. I was pretty discouraged as it was way above beginner level. We probably should have started with a kit like yours. I'm going to check my HL for a kit and give it another try. Thanks for showing us this project.

I'm sorry your first experience was not the greatest. I think the kit is a good way to start. It gave me the confidence to try it and now the whole process isn't as intimidating. You should definitely give it another try!
