- Rockin KT Equine Redemption, near Reno NV, is a family orientated horse rescue dedicated to help horses become adoptable to others without the time or knowledge to train. They do this for the love of horses and as a solution to prevent these nice animals from shipping to slaughter. Their main goal is to always have a safe place form all the animals to go.

Horse Rescue Heroes is a reality TV show about the heroes who rescue horses, overcoming insurmountable challenges that are ever present in rescuing these large animals and finding loving homes for them. Season 3 follows hosts Tawnee and Jason Preisner, founders of Horse Plus Humane Society, as they journey to 4 organizations across the United States. Kt is a hard worker. She has vision, she's organized and she's passionate about the work she does in rescuing the horse's. I'm glad she will be getting the mentoring she needs for the rescue. KT pace yourself, don't overdo, you and your babies health is very important, I can't stress that enough. Take care and God Bless 🙏😇

This young lady, KT (and family, etc) is amazing. Such a young lady and so amazing, the will to help horses and to work so hard to do so. I know just how she feels (and you Tawnee) at auction. I used to go buy tack because I could buy 3 of something, sell 2 and afford the 1 I would get to keep. The horses in some of those auctions will rip your heart out. I once, when I was young, bought a filly at auction in Boise, Idaho. With no way to get her back to base. It was storming, but hey, she looked at me and said, save me! It was not a "kill" auction but never the less. I raised her, trained her and ended up "selling" her to some young soldier who was going home to Montana. He was out there all the time watching me with her and my stallion. This mare was so sweet she could never have a cross word or hand. It would have killed her. She was amazing. So for $10 (yes TEN) and a promise I sold her to that young man and he kept in touch for many years, until I went overseas (kinda tough since he was not in the military anymore).
I don't know how you are going to pick. Every time I see the video or another rescue (of your 4), "I say, 'that's the one!'". I don't envy your and Jason's decision, but they are all getting mentored, so that is super.
I am a monthly donor (small amount) and I put God first in my life. My father found Christ at age 91 without any influence from me (I was not in his life then). He contacted me AFTER. He wanted to explain. I had already googled the article (he made the local news because he was so old). I told him, "no need to explain, I am so happy to hear from you" He is now 101 and came to live with me when CoVd started.
Just so there is no mistake for the person(s) who don't understand what it means. I take much better care of my family having God first. I have done amazing things in my life.
I have no horses in my life now and I LOVE watching this series and also the rescue series, although often my heart hurts and i physically cry. I am so thankful people like you exist. I love all animals and respect them, Horses & dogs are my favorite, then cats, fish, anything. I appreciate you and your organization and I know you will not always have it easy but you will always succeed.

One of the Mustangs that I rescued was captured in Palomino Valley. She had been badly abused and was so thin that she had absolutely had no meat on her bones. I couldn't get her to trust me
She was a beautiful sorrel with a long wavy flaxen mane. I hope that KT gets the rescue going strong.

Loved watching this I can’t believe these humans don’t see the beauty of these horses !! It was hard to look at the horses that were going to be slaughtered ! So sad but glad your growing different organization to help stop cruelty❤️
What an amazing soul KT is, she’s born to do this line of work. I pray her organisation reaches massive heights so she no longer has to work at Costco to make ends meet. Someone as driven as her will make it, I just know it.

To learn the differences of which auction to go to- is something that I recommend making a whole video on. People can learn how to do the proper research on auction houses and which they should go to to help rescue rather than feed slaughter funds
I really hope you choose this incredible lady and her organisation, your knowledge and donation would make an enormous difference and allow them to finish their farm and rescue so many more horses. KT, her husband, Grandma and the lady working at the rescue are truly amazing people! So glad she got the one horse from the auction. I can only imagine how it is being there at the auction ring and seeing the horses move through that go to slaughter! It was also very interesting to see the challenges rescuers face with the structures around the slaughter pipeline. So glad they have been in the mentoring program!

KT is one of the most laser focused and passionate individuals about any charity I have ever met. She does what it takes to help her horses, no matter what that entails. I met her many years ago, long before she opened her rescue, and she talked about her passion for horses even then. No one was surprised when she opened, but everyone has been stunned by her continued and persistent work ethic and empathy. I can't think of a better cause.
1:32 This was such a fantastic and well-made video! I have loved horses my whole life and I have volunteered at this ranch so I know firsthand how awesome KT is. I’m so glad you chose her to mentor and, if I’m allowed, I vote for KT to receive the grant. She would use the money very wisely and so many horses would benefit from such a generous gift.

I loved this video and the introduction to Rockin KT Equine Redemption. I live on the rural side of Monterey Bay in Central California, SIX HOURS ONLY from Reno, NV and the Rockin KT. This is the closest Full Circle facility to me on this side of the West Coast. Lots of coverage over here on this side if KT and her crew get the Grant. So far, this rescue is my choice, even though I did say the same thing to the other two already introduced. hahahahah! I didn't notice in the Boot Camp video if KT had her baby or not, but I'm sure baby is here by now. Please send congratulations and Good luck! 🥰

Since KT works for a major corporation, it might have an in-house newsletter or something similar to highlight various employees across the country. What they are doing outside work hours, and the charitable work they do. I know when I worked at such a large company, they would match charitable donations of other employees. Since KT already has the classification of 501-C3 (?) for a charity, it would be great to let other employees all across the USA know about her efforts to help horses, and a company newsletter (in-house or for public as well) with information where to send donations, and a link to any website for pictures, it would be a good idea to explore that as an option for a source of income. Wow what a great 'newbie' organization! Congratulations on making the cut and hope it will be another valuable tool to move your dream forward! KT & hubby are a younger version of Jason & Tawnee! Does anyone know does Costco do anything philanthropic from the corporate office? I would think that sponsoring or donating regularly to RKTER would be a given to such an amazing employee. I know, I know..."if you do it for one you have to do it for many, so don't do it at all." I'm a Costco member and spend way too much there, but it would make me feel better if I knew something was given to deserving organizations (501C)! Also, I know they publish a magazine and a feature article would be great publicity for RKTER! Or maybe KT has already pursued that? Great work!
Lots of mustang lovers in Nevada and California. Rockin KT is a fine ranch and I'm sure once you show them the ropes, they will develop into a great rescue that serves Nevada well. I have visited the BLM corrals at Hungry Valley a number of times. It is crazy how many mustangs they round up each year. There are plenty of people that want to adopt not only mustangs but also burros.

Sage brush is very medicinal and as she said, it shades the grass. Not a good idea to eliminate it totally. It's part of a healthy ecosystem. Wonderful people and a great place though. Sometimes we don;t know what we have until it's gone. Leave a little of it n those pens and pastures. The big stuff. It's your local tree in a way and good windbreaks that wont break.

I really hope KT and Austin get the $15,000 grant..they so deserve it..I know others work hard too but this couple work at the rescue and hold down job to enable them to save horses..the kill buyers make me sooo bloody angry 😡😡.. then the guy asking all the questions when they pick the horse up..noticing the licence plate saying California..its absolutely nothing to do with them..grrr

I hope the kill buyer hits a tree going 85 and no one is there to help them. Then his life would be as important as he sees the horses life.
If you wish that then 1) horses could be involved in accidents, 2) that energy returns to sender

This show "Horse Rescue Heroes" is about HPHS mentoring other rescues, building a rescue network across America, and for people to learn about the different rescues, the people behind them and everything that goes into it. In the end one rescue also wins a grant, all of them get mentoring. So maybe just watch their other show "Horse Shelter Heroes" instead if you don´t like "Horse Rescue Heroes" This is about helping rescues forward, and helping people find them to be able to save more horses in the future and that is amazing and the most important thing.
