Jimmy Butler don't care about nothing no winning, no championships, just money! Screw him, take what you can get or get out of the NBA. Fans are tired of over the hill players trying for one last pay day and then complaining the next year he's not worth the salary he's getting!
The CBA is doing exactly what it was designed to do. It makes it where upcoming free agents are still trapped by a particular team because other teams aren’t allowed to have them at a competitive rate. With a greater punishment for going over the CAP. Which when the MAX was imposed it was done with David Stern saying that it wasn’t a CAP but instead a luxury threshold. SMH
"Trapped" in a contract they signed? Do you think Jimmy is trapped? He has a $50 million dollar option. He can not pick it up and go be free. But if Miami can't send him to Phoenix, he will pick up the option and remain "trapped" and keep demanding a trade. I hope Phoenix gives up and trades for someone else. No one will pay him a max salary on the open market.
@ no Jimmy isn’t trapped, but the CBA is now orchestrated to eliminate players from having many options in free agency based on the apron system. Owners purposely set the CBA up to be so punitive that teams could not effectively maneuver to make large deals, especially not during the season. The problem they’re going to run into ultimately is the level of trades that the NBA has makes the game more interesting and without it, it’s going to take that element away.
@@stevenygabbyperez695hey if players like Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid can keep on snatching contracts, someone will pay Jimmy 😂 Embiid is going to be paid like 60m next year, averaging like 20 games a season lol.
Butler is 35, toxic af and not even a true superstar (i.e. a franchise player), so I don't know why any team would want to deal with his b.s. and pay 50+ million for it to boot. He's worth maybe 25 mil tops at his current age.
@@Eastra3That's what he was. There's a big difference to what he now is which is a 35 y/o with an injury history and track record of not taking the regular season seriously. You can't pay him a 1/3 of the cap and expect the other 2/3s of the roster to carry him to the playoffs.
He used to be, hence why Miami dealt with him. Now he's old. Still an above-average starter given he is closer to 40 than not, but he's is 1000% NOT a max player anymore.
@@Eastra3jimmy took the heat to the finals 2 time which while great. Ended with him getting smacked by 2 real superstars. Lebron and joker. And this was when he was younger, mind you LeBron was 36 years old when he took him to school. He is absolutely not worth 50 mill for the next 4 years that’s crazy.
@Eastra3 A true superstar is also great in the regular season, and Jimmy's career regular season career averages are 18/5/4 - that's good, but not superstar level good. His playoff career averages are 21/6/5 - once again good, but not superstar level good.
I think it's less likely Jimmy going to Memphis than staying put. To Grizzlies, Jimmy's not even on their top 10 priority list, they have a lot of flexibility to change their roster, they don't have to be fixated on Jimmy like Suns do.
I live in Memphis as a poor guy person. From this pov I understand why you shouldn't come here. But as a rich person who can leave any time they want. Why not come to Memphis? We are not saying he has to live here forever, but damn, why don't he want to play with a team with a decent roster, coaching staff, and front office? I'll be honored just to make millions. I wouldn't care what city I'm in, because it's something to experience in every city.
This is nothing new for us here in Memphis. It's not just Butler. Nobody ever wants to come here whether it's a trade or free agency. It's mostly because of our reputation for being such a small market and a small country town (which we are). But it's okay. No offense taken. We're used to that. This is why we have to draft well.
I wonder what kind of extension or money Butler gets if he's a FA. Same thing with Ingram. I'm assuming if Butler opts out of that player option and gets offered 50 mil for two years he'll just retire out of pride???
The "truth" of all this is, Jimmy Butler is a double agent for team owners. He's going to end the "player empowerment" era by being the biggest B in the league. Man, I wish there were odds for that, I'd bet every single dollar I can get my hands on... Think about it, a one-time payment for $160m from all the owners is a small price to pay in order for them to GOUGE the player's association for the next era of basketball. What era is that you say? THE SPORTS BETTING ERA, STUPID!
Jimmy burned the bridge not realizing he didn’t have any leverage. He relied on toxicity not realize he’ll get fined for sabotaging the team by not playing.
Nah, he can appeal to get that money back. He's still going to play for Miami, he's just not going to fully go in on all the small details that made him great. He will run plays, look like he's "trying" on defense, run up and try to get rebounds, etc... but he's not going to dig down and try to get steals, he's not going to box out players, dive on the ground, dive outta bounds, etc.
Memphis is far from dumb enough to extend Jimmy when Jaren is reaching ALL NBA status. They money is tied up in Ja Bane and Jaren. Everybody else has mid level except Smart and BC kind of getting a bag! The team makeup is amazingly under the cap threshold and dam good! Rarity amongst the NBA! Plus they own all of their draft picks.

Jimmy so dramatic and his ego too big he won’t play for the grizzles because he won’t be a stand still shooter same reason why he doesn’t wanna play for the heat cause they want him to be a number 2 to herro now and his ego too big for it
Jimmy is picking up that option. He really has no choice (unless he somehow gets to Phoenix). Not many teams want to give Jimmy a 2 year $110 million extension and in order for him to go where he would like to play, he would have to opt in for a trade...
Jimmy didn’t realize his best business play was staying with the Heat. They would have extended him 2 more years but at a lower price. Now he will never make that much $ back & he keeps losing $ getting himself suspended

How does this affect Lebron’s legacy ?

Do YT advertisers realize we all just skip past their ads? Also why is all the shit advertised online either a scam or overpriced?
99% of it is a scam
Confuses me too
Get a refund from your school. YT gets paid regardless and those that lose out are the content creators for every "skip".
