The EV6 and Ioniq 5 are very very crampy inside the cabin compared to Ariya spacious interior. Check it out yourself… I trust Nissan because of their 12 yrs of electrification experience. (From an owner of an Ariya Evolve+ trim)
CORRECTION: Nissan ARIYA Platinum Plus DOES has Heated & Cooled Seats. I have driven quite a few EV’s (ICONIQ 5, KIA EV6, KIA NIRO EV, MERCEDES EQB). The ARIYA is my No. 1 Choice. I plan to purchase the Nissan ARIYA Platinum Plus AWD
The Ariya is a true SUV with the highest ground clearance in its class. Ioniq 5, EV6, and Model Y are low riding crossovers where you can feel every bump on the road. The Ariya drives like a luxury SUV. I own an Ariya Evolve + since Feb 1st with 2100miles on the odom. Highly recommend. It’s my first time brand to Nissan. I’m getting an average of 3.4 miles/kWH using Standard mode driving and eStep. I don’t use the AC or heater. Being in SoCal, I use the panoramic moonroof as my source of “AC”.
I am an ariya owner. You mentioned but glossed over a very important feature of the aryia, the 360 camera. In fact it is the feature that sold me on this car. The camera lets you see the clearance on all sides and corners of the car. This makes parking easy in tight spots as well as entering and exiting cramped parking structures. The camera is an order of magnitude superior to the competition, including the ioniv5 which you seem to love. I can't imagine ever buying another car without this feature.
Please note, his review was based on an entry level Engage+ trim. The Engage+ does not have many features found on other higher trims. My Evolve + has the ability to cool the seats

Don't know why you decided to flash a photo of a girl every time you said Ariya but it got annoying after after about 3 minutes and down voted and picked someone else's video.
It’s a game of thrones reference. The girls character shares the same name. I almost forgot about this but the name did ring a bell. Now I remember why.
Neither!!! I want the Hyundai Ionic 6 or the FISKER Pear if I had the choice…I don’t trust Nissan to honor their warranty as they messed me up in the past!
Has anyone else test driven and noticed the main screen being low resolution / blurry? I was surprised to hear the screen called out as a pro in this video - aside from the resolution the design looks super dated.
I can understand what you mean. My aim wasn’t so much to talk about a specific trim but more about what things you can get from the platform all together. Should have specified the slide out tray was on higher trims
False. Nissan is not louder. In fact, it's more quiet. This is one of the key reasons I got the Ariya over the Ioniq 5. I tested them after one another and immediately noticed the louder cabin noise in the Ioniq 5. Also the interior is much more premium in the Ariya. The Ioniq have the charging speed and V2L as advantage.
@monkeyboystevey could you elaborate? Ioniq5, ev6, i-pace, lyriq, mach-e, lightning, i4, e-tron and e-tron GT, ALL TESLAS? All of these models are rwd or awd my friend. Fwd electrics are no longer the norm lol
Special thanks to our Patrons for their support of the channel! Would you have this Nissan Ariya over a Hyundai Ioniq 5?
HYUNDAI IONIQ 5 And KIA EV6 .

The flashes of Arya had me rolling.

Ariya has 10 airbags…..Best in Class. With Platimum trim, it has ELEVEN Airbags!
@@marketbuyAirbags cause neck fractures so the less the better
@@HishamX lol. It's not like all 10 airbags are situated around the driver's seat
@@HishamXyou are correct. Those corpses without airbags went to their coffin with intact necks.

Strange about the seat. I got the evolve trim in Norway and got both heated and cooled seats
Got it in Sweden with cooled seats too.

No 1 - yes you can get ventilated seats
Ioniq 5 dealer markup is absolutely bonkers. It’s $50K minimum whereas every dealer’s got Ariyas in the low 40s.
The Ariya Stark inserts got old after the 3rd time.
🙃
I found it funny for some reason
I couldnt watch the review anymore. Its like subliminal advertising 👎👎👎
I love my Ariya Evolve+ in charcoal grey. It's a very good ride, quiet and feels like a quality built vehicle.
The Ariya is one of the best looking vehicles. Much better than the Hyundai
It still looks like an egg.
The statement regarding cooled seats is not correct. The platinum level trim you mentioned does have heated and cooled front seats.
oh interesting, my blunder
My Evolve+ has cooling seats.
why do you keep flashing a pic of some random woman every time you say Ariya?? you get a dislike for this reason.
not a Game of Thrones fan I see
You can get air conditioned/cooled seats, I have them in mine
Appreciate your review! Thanks for the information!
Don't know why you decided to flash a photo of a girl every time you said Ariya but it got annoying after after about 3 minutes and down voted and picked someone else's video.
Same
It’s a game of thrones reference. The girls character shares the same name. I almost forgot about this but the name did ring a bell. Now I remember why.
U can get cooled seats on the Platinum in the U.S
Why get the FWD model especially WI? AWD+ way faster (almost 400hp) and handles well in the snow.
Neither!!! I want the Hyundai Ionic 6 or the FISKER Pear if I had the choice…I don’t trust Nissan to honor their warranty as they messed me up in the past!
What's with the photo of the girl popping up. It seems like a subliminal suggestion.
it's Arya Stark from Game of Thrones lol
@@dwnshft noone care about this. Please remove it. Otherwise, it is a good review.

You have video shots of 2 different Ariya trims. Some are for base, some are for higher trim. Confusing your subscribers, viewers.
I can understand what you mean. My aim wasn’t so much to talk about a specific trim but more about what things you can get from the platform all together. Should have specified the slide out tray was on higher trims
Looks like its as aerodynamic as a brick. Explains why the range is so-so.
Are you wearing shades in winter, with a thermal beenie hat?
What are you on about? Sunglasses are imperative in the snow glare of winter.
You can get cooled seats in the UK
cool seats? you mean heated seats?? who wants cool seats??
could not watch the video because of the distracting pop up picture every time he says ariya. dislike
sound isolation vs Ionic 5?
Nissan is louder

Ariya has dual pane windows. The cabin is super quiet. It sits high unlike other crossovers that sit low and ride bumpy.
Does this have a heat pump like the ID.4? Kinda important living in northern Canada.
I have one and has a heat pump as standard here in Ireland and heated and cooled seats.
@@andrewmorgan1802 great car. Test drove the Engage last week. Tempting!
Yes, it has heat pump on the Ariya
yes and it also has battery preconditioning
I heard charging speed is 💩, was that also your experience?
I wouldn’t say it’s 💩 but it’s not as good as the Hyundai or Kia
I definitely appreciate seeing the girl Ariya cuz my brain does the same thinggggg since I of course watched Game of Thrones. And it’s pretty funny
I didn't like the ioniq 5, it is for teenagers, or someone up to 23, or females.
Maybe nobody is taking about them because they're FWD
like the majority of EV's...
Why do Americans call them neeesans? Ask a Japanese person how to pronounce Nissan.
Because that's the correct way to pronounce it in the USA. Even google will say it that way lol!
All foreign languages pronounced “i” as “eee”. Neeessan
JUNK, NICE SUV BUT ITS JUNK, BATTERY IS LIKE A POWER WHEELS. DONT DO IT
Nissan makes a handsome car.
Would never buy one (reliability) but still.
Just wait until the EV9!
I dont recomend this car - OS i total piece of shit , and other plenty of issues.
The shape ugly
