Elephant never forget their grateful persons.
I am always impressed with these on-locale animal rescues how a bunch of the indigenous people run to help and also with how resourceful they are.
The whole operation was conducted by the wildlife officers. i guess the villagers were there for moral support. :)

HOW ADORABLE!! I TOTALLY LOST IT WATCHING HIS LEGS GO STRAIGHT UP IN THE AIR AND FLIP OVER!! I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING AT HIS PLAY TIME SESSION IN HIS LITTLE RIVER!!
It is adorable I thought that was truly amazing and very funny watching him/her playing in the river doing a backflip in the river having the the time of his life spraying water out of his trunk
My heart was in my mouth all the way through. The elephant would surely have tired & lost its life if not for these amazing guys & their determination to save it. I am truly thankful they prevailed and our endangered wildlife is one elephant better off entirely because of their endeavours

THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helped this beautiful creature get out of the canal. I'm sure he couldn't have managed it on his own. He/she looks young and I think knew he was entertaining people with his head-stand. Hopefully he has a long safe future as a wild elephant.

this is the second video of and elephant at the same canal they resuce, so time make a permanent ladder construction. They could use the ropes and tyres they already used.
All it needs is two stakes in the groud at the side of the canal, to attach the ladder.

my goodness, i know both need canals you guys need them for farming, the elephants need water also and i know you have to spring into action again, but the end will end well, it just tickles my heart to see this fella spinning around and somersaulting, that means he is happy although he is trapped, i am glad to see he has put a smile on your faces as well. when i am feeling well and happy i will do somersaults all the way to my mailbox. but his time must end and he must be removed, good job, there he goes and his swim has ended. look how smart he is. just a marvel
