Thank you for saving this baby elephant. This baby will get treatment until it become cure and healthy. Although we are not seeing follow up videos, Srilankans love their elephants and trying to save them from injuries and other harm.

Thank you for rescuing this little! Baby elephant he is probably vrry dehydrated in the hot sun with no water. I hope they reunite the baby with his Mother as soon as the little one recovers and in the same spot. His Mother will be so very sad and so depressed losing her baby. I hope they return the baby back to the same area because she will stay there until her baby is returned. Baby elephants function much better with their Mother ...

@@katehobbs2008 when they use “literally” the mean it in a emotional way as in “The end of this movie literally hurt me.” They didn’t mean like they’re actually heart was broken then that would be serious, but it’s like when you see a stray cat that is seriously injured and you want to help it and your heart broken literally.
So glad little baby elephant was saved. Mother may have abandoned the baby due to its not being able to stand with broken leg. I hope the baby elephant got help, care to recovery OK.

BUT.... we don’t know the outcome. The baby elephant suffered dehydration, maybe internal injuries, heat prostration, and pure terror at the hands of these men. They may have been POACHERS, intending to sell the baby. Remember the distress of the mother, unable to rescue her baby! Elephants care for their young two or more years.

G Dias exactly what I was thinking. They want our donations, but we never see results. I understand that not every animal they rescue is going to survive.. they have to be honest..they just leave us wondering.
It is not their job to provide entertainment. Their goal is not to make videos about elephant rescue. Their goal is to rescue the elephants. The videos are there simply because everyone in this world noways has a camera and UA-cam.

I've watched a lot of elephant rescue and interaction and though this team seems to mean well they don't appear to have the urgency or the extra comfort protections need for elephant transport. They had no jugs of water to cool or hydrate it from the sun. They had no tarp or blanket to help lift it or to protect the baby from being dragged across a hot metal truck bed?! Still grateful for all they do but some improvements could be made. God bless.
They did everything. I was trying to bring attention to their cause as they are wonderful and could use more donations for their work as all good charities would.
@nuren If in a some years the elephant is returned to the wild, it may come in contact with it's mom when it is older. They have reunited elephants that haven't seen each other in years and they still remember each other. I hope that at least happens.
The people are wonderful human beings and these elephant rescue videos are very good but they could be better in order to get more viewers. They need more information about the problems of the animal and the follow up treatment. A bit of a short story from beginning to final outcome. From my experience the desire to donate comes from seeing the animal's journey from sickness to health and happiness. The video needs some editing too in order to avoid spending too much time on the same material. You do a wonderful job, keep it up.

И я об этом подумала. И цистерну с водой возить и сначала напоить малыша.

also, they poured water on it at around 10:00.
