So helpful to see your entire session and see how you keep moving around to catch the good waves. I've never seen any other surfing channel do this. I hope you do more of these, maybe in different conditions. I've learned a lot.
other tricks: * wake up really really early * or go really really late * walk two jetties down and surf basically the exact same wave with no people * go when surfline says it's "poor", but it's actually still fun
Sitting deeper on days where the waves are mostly small is great getting all them waves in between the set waves means you get 10 more for other peoples one set wave
Haha, sharing all the secrets of surfing novelty rocky's. Good tips, thank you. Just goes to show that the crowd doesn't always know what they're doing, so don't be afraid to do your own thing.

True to that! Thanks for chiming in.
Yup. That’s what I been doing for over 20 years. Really early or really late.
need to do this more often, especially with a crowded summer lineup! thank you
I’d like to see you on a mid six thunderbolt Harley ingleby !
I will post it once I get my hands on it! It's hard to find it in the local surf shops.
@@SkipperSurfReview I just bought one it’s a game changer! 2ft to 6ft 🤙🏼
@@davidryan2588 Are you surfing beach break (weak windswells)?

Some people seem to have a hard time identifying smaller waves that have decent shape. Sitting further inside with the right equipment also helps.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
yeah im with you, ill sit more inside & away from the main lineup to get higher wave count in conditions like this. that mini simmons lookin good tho
