I am impressed with the pack and that front Sherman piece what I don’t like about what I’m hearing is the weight it seems heavy when you getting up to the five and 6 pounds that’s nearly the weight of a rifle
Hey Aldo, so I will shoot a short today on what it actually weighs with my sticks and platform loaded up. I’m built like a stump 😂, i’m 5’4, 165 lbs and my rifle weighs 10 lbs. I have just got use to carrying a load between saddle gear and rifle possibly 16-18 lbs but I’m not hiking miles. The one thing I love is this pack not only does it all but you can customize it to you. I’m shooting my gear dump for a rifle hunt soon so you will see a little more. I just picked up this bag, wanted one bag that does it all from early season to late season in Louisiana and some hunts in Illinois this pack seems like it’s going to do it all!
What a great Review!!!!!! I have the badlands day pack, didn’t hold enough. Bumped up to the Sitka Fanny Pack, I really like it, but it stinks for carrying extra clothes. I have been eye balling this pack. Your review sold me on this. Great Video!!!
Dude, you just earned my sub. Love that you shared your thought process and requirements and what other options you considered. I'm originally from the PNW, currently in NC and have been staring at this bag because it's all you really need in most areas around here but I want something I can build on once I am back in the PNW next year. I think you've pushed me over the edge. 10/10.
Thanks man! I will tell you this pack is great. The design, the ability to mod, the way it fits, carries gear. I have nothing bad to say. My season opens tomorrow and I’m taking it into the swamp down here in florida. I think your season opened already! Good luck dude.
Lastly one more thought. Its the most expensive piece of gear I bought this year. I waited, looked, researched and saved. I’m a blue collar worker and it was worth waiting and saving. If someone asked if they should just get a pack or save to get this one… SAVE!
Great review and recommendation. I like mine a lot but I wish it were quieter material. No issue when the winds are blowing but in a dead calm woods...... these heavy duty packs all seem to scream regardless if its Kifaru, Mystery Ranch, EXO, Stone Glacier etc. They are all built tough but I wish they were more subdued in the sound department. Great review though.
Man all I wear is firstlite and I looked at the pack close. For me what I didn’t like is how the top opened. I didn’t want the draw string kinda opening. I really wanted the clam shell opening so I could use it in a tree easy for a shelf for calls or my phone or whatever and it just made finding things for me easier but I love first lite gear.
