- While still at quarters of DCFD Engine 11, Truck 6, Battalion 4, EMS 4, and Ambulance 11 at 3420 14th Street NW, we see the Engine as they get toned out for an EMS response at 722 Kenyon Avenue NW between Georgia Avenue NW and Sherman Avenue NW for a person having chest pains. Initially, Ambulance 11 and Truck 6 were put on the call, but Ambulance 11 was already on another run, and Engine 11 and just got back in moments earlier. Therefore, Engine 11 called in to make themselves available, which is when the tones go off. Engine 11 is a 2018 Seagrave Capitol. Enjoy the sounds of the tones and bell, plus the Q2B siren of the engine as it responds. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on October 27th, 2021.

Awesome Catch! They recently got a new 2023 Seagrave Capitol pumper. The 2018 Seagrave is now assigned to Engine 36 at the Training Academy.
What a badass Engine Company. Blue lights in the grille, blue RotoRay, and not to mention the apron along the back. Took me a second, but then it started coming to me "Oh thank heaven for Engine 11" Hahahaha
It'd be even better if Truck 7 was stationed in the same house.
Rigs are super clean!
Man I miss living in Washington DC
Nice video, love the bell at 1:05! I miss hearing the Gamewell system tapping out a box, we got rid of the system late 90s.
Agreed. That system is old school. This system is a Purvis System.
@@EmergencyResponseChronicles Interesting thank you.

Slow leave station time for a daytime run
Nice catch! Are the tones any similar to the FDNY tones?
Somewhat, but with some additional tones added in.
@@FL92002 Interesting, thanks!
@@vitaliyfdny8238It's a Purvis System.
What kind of alert system is that
It's a modified Purvis System, with the tones being similar to FDNY tones.
@@FL92002 can you get more captures of that system from when it starts up to the units responding. Im doing research on that system
New GMC??
Not to my knowledge. As far as I know, Battalion 4 is a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD.
@@FL92002 sorry i dont mean to stand you corrected but i just looked it up. Its a 2021. Great catch!
Not a problem at all! Thanks for letting me know!
cool vid. those kind of bells (tones)? omg thats horrible. Ill take two short beeps for medicals and one long tone for fires and rescues anyday over that.
Artificial Intelligence dispatcher.
It's a modified Purvis System. Tones are similar to the FDNY.
