Thank you for showing up my lovely town. My family has deep roots in Rincón. Maria's Beach was named by surfers in the 60's after my grandfather's first wife. She ran a shack selling refreshments by the beach.

I would need to sell my home here in FL. I want to buy a home in Fajardo. Then I have been thinking of getting a HELOC so that I may purchase in PR. Airbnb until I finally move there. Im a little afraid. I'm not sure what to do. May I ask what job you retired from? Any suggestions how I should go about this. I would greatly appreciate it.

What a mean-spirited post. What Jen does is a service to those who may want to know about a specific aspect of Puerto Rico and it's HER vlog and up to HER to choose the content. I applaud her for the time and effort that she meticulously puts into her videos, and it is appalling that ANYONE (especially a Puerto Rican) would find fault in how gracious she is with the content. Since YOU are so concerned with those issues, why don't YOU invest YOUR time and YOUR effort and post a video on the subject? Or write a letter or contact YOUR representatives and leaders of the appropriate agencies and ask THEM to provide you with that information. I'm also sure they would speak Spanish also. And btw, both SPANISH and ENGLISH are the official languages of Puerto Rico. Unlike the US where ENGLISH is the sole official language and yet tens of millions of people don't speak a lick of it, and you would be considered a bigot and your comments (that they should learn English or that it's wrong for them not to) would be universally criticized and likely censored by UA-cam. I hope that you're not really that bitter of a person, and that you were just having a bad day. Or do you go around on UA-cam trolling every video that says ANYTHING good about Puerto Rico in English by a visitor or non-native resident? Shame on you. 🤏👎
