I’m completely playing free to play, no money. The challenge mode upper level dungeons are actually pretty challenging and fun. IMO don’t put money into it and play it for a while. Decently fun experience.
Same experience. Hell if I am paying to play the game( Wow) and still a noob that would suck. But if I play the game for free and only pay if I want my character look cool that's a win win. But here we are it's free , people complain. LMAO why not pay Tarisland as you do in equal to total of WoW for all these yours. You might as well have a modern WoW give or take few months
I am having a blast playing this as a small filler game, while I wait for my main game releases. Healing high level dungeons and raids are actually challenging. Its just fun.
Is 100% a mobile MMO. it is nice you can play it on PC, but I don't think you can take this game as a serious MMO.

For a super casual sense of progression im enjoying it so far.... the pvp is quite fun too
I'm playing Tarisland non-stop and I love it. Of course there is room for improvements but so far, the game is promising. The game launch was also quite smooth on server side. I almost feel like some content creators are paid by Blizzard or something to tarnish this game

Its an actually developed mmo which automatically makes it better than 90% of other mmos on the market right now. It isnt the greatest mmo of all time. But in the current pathetic state of the mmo market. it is one of the best options for new releases lmao. Which is sad in itself I guess.

MMO's had their golden age though. Right after WOW released it felt like almost no other were being made anymore for a while and everybody jumped on the MMO train.
@@gunnarragnarsson9563 WoW was the first mmo I ever played and I have tried somewhere around 30-40 mmos since then. There was A LOT of mmos coming out after wow.
But now in recent years the mmo market is fully dead yeah. And the few ones that do come out are barely developed at all. Full of bugs, no end game content. Early access cancer.
Tarisland is a solid mmo for what it is. No bugs. very polished. Decent pve, decent pvp. Compare it to any other mmo that released in the last 5 years and Tarisland is easily in the top. You'd have to be a blind hater to disagree with that.
@@jiggyspice6809 I tried a lot of them as well back in the day. Right now I just play ESO. But MMO's are usually my 'in between game' when I have nothing else to play. Haven't tried this one yet tho.
Acessiblilty options on day one makes me hopeful for the future of the game. And, someone can correct my comment if I am wrong, but aside from Tencent = China and "China bad", Tencent is very hands-off with their developers. They don't destroy games like a lot of western companies do. They understand, as you would expect from a megacorp, that if you let the devs do their job you will make money. And if the project isn't profitable you drop funding on the game. Meanwhile we got suits who think players would want to pay to reload their guns in an FPS.

And for the record, the "china = bad" echo chamber is stupid as hell. Tons of great games are made in china. And you also have to remember that in asia the gaming culture is massive, and highly respected. Esports is the biggest sport in asia and e-sport players are literal super stars. They respect games in asia. unlike here in the west where its currently devolved into some woke agenda trash with half assed projects created only to milk retards.

I love it so far. I’m playing it on my pc and i definitely don’t think they meant for this to be fully on pc cuz the settings n fps but still good either way. I have it on my phone as well I just like it tbh. The classes r so much fun tho
My only complaint is the map sizes. Everything else about this game is awesome. It’s free, easy to progress, did I mention free? There’s no ads begging you for money. It’s also new AND designed for mobile. It’s not meant to be a wow killer imo, though I can clearly see where they’ve taken inspiration which honestly I’m cool with. The voice acting is a bit off but honestly whatever I don’t think this is an English game anyway. Overall I’m having a blast playing it. Did I mention this game hasn’t been out for a week yet, and it’s free? Lmao

I'm starting to get upset with the direction that MMOs are taking.
Gone are the days of EverQuest and Asheron's Call. Hello loot crates and gems.
Pretty much my opinion as well. Playing because it's something different and new but will move on once something better comes along.
battles are a bit simply imo, same rotation for all classes, not sure if talent points might add variety to it later since i'm still low lv. I'm hopefull though, they will probably expand it with time. I doubt they're planing to keep it the same forever lol.
I ended up Uninstalling Tarisland, Items you buy being character bound, and not account bound was strike 1, My cc being locked when I tried to make a $1 purchase for the cute mount was strike #2, because when i called fraud dept to unlock my cc, they said it looked shady, and Strike #3 was watching Streams for 8 hrs to not get the mount, and it didn't say anywhere on twitch that it was only for first 50. So after 3 strikes i figured I should move on.

I honestly thought I would not like it coming from wow. I did get the battle pass however that is all. While It had some movement issues with camera, and climbing the world, the game has potential , I think the dungeons are more engaging, and the raids seems fun. It’s not wow or close, but it is good to pass the time until war within releases. For whatever reason, once I got the hang of it, it is not bad. With some work it could actually be a good game honestly. Keybinds, camera angles up and down, free camera on mount, I think there is some p2w, however I also do not really think it is needed for gems. Maybe tempering stats, we will see. It does have a lot of content, and lots of achievements.
Well say on “short to medium time”. I am mobile user. I decide to no going further after few day of playing on China server. You pretty much name it all, however, the slow moving, and no auto quest on movement also don’t work for mobile players, and a long run those players will sure suffer ergonomic issue related to finger.
Noones mentioning that all the systems are pretty fleshed out and have good depth like all the classes I’ve played have been fun feeling and take skill to master but also have a tonne of depth and customization
I remember hearing that the mobile version was going to be completely separate with the PC version being more rich with functions and features... yeah that was a lie
I try out all games for myself and prefer mmorpg's, probably because EQ was my first pc game.
I honestly thought I would play this for a few days and go on; but, I like it and I am staying.
Localization is really not to much of an issue for me, as I realize that Chinese thought and sentence structure is much different than English. I just understand that and go on.
I like the Priest Healer. I can build it the way I want. The class is easy to play, but hard to be real good at. The build can make a big difference.
The Guild structure is simple, but allows you to make friends and help others which is a plus.
I can see this game getting more complex as levels, skills, Dungeons, and content unluck. The Dungeons are fun.
If I am having fun, and I am, then I like it.
Dont forget that WHEN you uninstall, it leaves the anticheat and folders on your computer

Uninstall the Game (if still installed):
Launch Tarisland as Administrator.
Uninstall from the menu.
Close the Launcher (if still installed):
Quit the Tarisland launcher from the taskbar icon.
Remove the Launcher Directory:
Delete the folder (default: C:\Tarisland).
Check for Anti-Cheat Services:
Open an elevated Command Prompt (search "cmd.exe", right-click, Run as Administrator).
Run these commands:
sc query ACE-GAME
sc query ACE-BASE

I like this game! Well, for a mobile game at least. No way would I play something like this on PC with what's out there but this isn't bad for a mobile game at all.
Can someone please help how do you turn auto run on when I click on Quest it doesn't go there automatically it just shows me where it's at

I honestly like it, it’s more or less my first mmorpg besides guild wars 2 I played YEARS ago, I don’t intend to play pvp so I don’t care about pay2win, the only thing that really bothers me is the fact that there really is no visual progression for the characters and most cool looking stuff is so unbelievably overpriced 😭
Did not like time gates, lack of some settings. Otherwise very chill casual game where you can experience some of that tryhard wow style raids/dungeons. Since NW is kinda dead now and have to wait for TL for another 2,5months, this make a decent game fool around in. Agree, dungeons are the best part that does not make me hate this game, everything else is kinda meh.
It came out for only 4 days and people already complain and compare it to other MMOs which have been out for 10+ years. Give it a chance, you lose nothing but your time. It is free to play.

It's a decent time waste when there isn't anything else to play.
The games does have some things going for it. Like actual launch content and some build variety. But make no mistakes. This is a chinese mobile mmo. This game exists for ONE reason. Money, money and more money. It has both gacha systems and an mtx store filled with overpriced items. Just look at the shadow set skin. An armor set skin and a weapon skin for 45 dollars.

I uninstalled the second i saw my character was forced to face the target. Hate that in throne and liberty, hate it here.
stamina system to craft ect. have to pay irl money for vigor potions. it's archage 2.0

Take note if you have an older or a cheap phone it wont run smooth at all. Its very stressful and takes up too much space on the phone.
I cant use my original character name again. And the dumbest thing is that I only tried one class and decided that I just didnt like it. Once deleted the name is taken and unusable. Кudos to whoever came up with this! 👌

Ive been playing it, level 30, its definitely well made technically, embarrassing new world because ive had no bugs at all and it has loads of things to do, i hate the time gate stuff.
It is probably the best mobile MMO after Diablo Immortal with it not P2W at all, at least for now. Mayne later down the road after all these caps.
Its still better then new world btw. There was a issue in a first day about the servers. And they fixed that 1 day later.

It’s scratching the casual mmo itch. I have no desire for another wow endgame second job grind.
Bummed that it seems to have all the standard gacha/mobile game systems. Without those, I could see myself enjoying it a lot. The graphic style is great, and the animations look solid, the combat seems fun, and the world seems pretty cool. Then they have to throw in all the shitty mobile/gacha systems and ruin it (obviously this is just my opinion)
Seriously, all the systems (login rewards, currencies, etc) are what made me log out. I was like "wtf is going on, what are all these crazy things" and I just didn't care to figure them all out. Maybe I'll put in the effort to learn it all, but I kinda doubt it. :(

Cant rebind keys, no one around, i just left after i got out the crappy tutorial i had to do even though its a 10 button game ... how dulled down in iq do you have to be to play this game? higher then 35 iq which is functional is probably too high for this game.
Its not a bad game but its just a good phone game you can tell by the movement when you play it on pc. Its much better on pc than phone.

I'm deleting the game. The fact they leave files on computer AFTER you uninstall and what's feels like shady advertising is what ended it for me. The P2W controversy and them removing all the items from shop (after player backlash) made me not trust them.
It's alright lol. The story does not make any sense at all. The combat is weird and floaty. It feels unfinished. But I'm actually having fun... Right now. I don't expect that fun to last very long. I think the game is beautiful too. But I'm into that Disney/pixar shit.

The most important element that makes MMO an MMO is that it is a game that you play with random people. Actually, these were something we played by forming a clan. You said it was a game, it was entertainment, but companies see you as a source of money. This is a new generation mmorpg, that event is now poisonous compared to the past, look, I repeat, if there is the smoothest game today, it is Archage and Guild. Wars 2 but the graphics shouldn't have been like this, these two were very nice at the time, if they are going to make graphics closest to the level of Baldur Gate 3 or Dragon Age Inquisition, there is no way to keep my mmos anymore, companies no longer see you as entertainment but as a source of money. Even if it works well, remember that the game has no chance of success. This figure is like 50/50. Why should I list them but it would be too long, posts should be 1. gw2 There should be no animation, even if the game is fluent, the skill effects are very bad, the archage is very good, but I said it needs to find a middle ground, I don't know if they will make the game, someone can solve it

People can absolutely engage with the content and play the game for free without having to spend any money but it's really sad and dishonest to see some players doing everything they can to defend the monetization practices and pretend like the game isn't p2w. I recently just made a video on this to go a bit in more detail as to what advantages you get if you spend real money and oh boy are there going to be people be upset about it.
It isn't pay to win.
You literally get gear with gold. Sure you CAN get gold through the crystal trade, but gold is obtainable in game and also gear is available through vendors by running content.

We decided to stop tarisland, because its boring. A huge disappointment was the missing itemization/Lookchanges in the game and the second is the profession. Its boring because you are in 10min empty on energy. When i have time to play then i will play as long as I want.

Combat is better than Wow. Built in macro system no typing. PvP is equalized. No p2w there.
Huge amounts of QoL and polish over Wow.

Like a good version of lost ark with reduced grind and mtx.
Overall, as a vanilla wow og, I can say it beats wow 9/10 times n most cases.
Noobs will compare it to wow until they put real time in. Not a casual game or mobile themed at all.. some people don't know what Asian mmos are. Mobile is an option not the theme or style.

Installed, tried for 30min, uninstalled. Clunky, floaty, non-impactful combat was instant turn off. That AI voice is so cringe it hurts.
People are so desperate for new MMOPRG that they are ready to play Mobile MMO with pubg AI sounds and absolutely no trade skills. Can not wait for Ashes of Creation that will be actual MMORPG.

I pre-down loaded it the day before it came out. When I couldn't rebind the skill keys, I uninstalled.
I rebound them today, but honestly fuck this game lol don't even bother.
