- Just wanted to do a quick video showing the update process on my Equinox 900 and X-Terra Pro. I use both a MacBook and a PC laptop. Everything went nice and easy.

@@SeekandDetect did the upgrade now to check it out c'mon red diamond ring. 8 carats (if) (internally flawless). with a perfect cut. ,a red diamond is like $1,000,000 a carat. 😂🤣😂🤣. have a good day.

@@SeekandDetect I got a good handful of coins from a new school field. Found a nz florin, an 1800s brittania half penny, some other coins and an American dime too. Pretty cool 👍think the numbers were a little more stable than usual. Tried the -1 on the iorn bias 😃. So far so 👍

Tried it out, seemed more stabile on the numbers, but i do mostly go on tone, it was a very short test, but it did seem better.

Hi Eric, I just got the update notification earlier today. I’m interested to see how the 900 likes what they’ve done. Pretty easy upgrade compared to how some used to be done. Looking forward to the videos you spoke of. I’m going to try to get in some gold prospecting this weekend myself.👍 John

Want an update for the Manticore!
1. Add extra custom slots for discrimination profiles. Only have one spot to save a custom.
2. Find a way on deep targets to eliminate digging so many rusty bent nails. I dig deep silver 95%of the time. My biggest nemesis is rusty nails that are bent into a 90 or U shape. Also hits TDI 90's on the head of those rusty nails. Yes the signal is slightly different on the silver coin and rusty nails. But a rusty nail next to a silver coin and I only get the 90's TDI in one direction I will probably skip it due to that's exactly how nails come in. Tired of coming back with 50 bent nails. No other top detector I own do I dig so many nails. With that said the Manticore hits deep silver all the others won't touch. It's my favorite machine. Just wish it was more refined on deep coins vs deep rusty bent nails. If it's possible the Manticore would be unstoppable!
The 900 only has 1, you would thing the Manticore has more! After the update on the 900, I'm still digging lots of rusty stuff. I do feel like I was getting less negs-mixed-with-90's, but it could just be in my head (wishful thinking).
Is it ok to do the equinox update with my Coiltek coil on it or should I put the stock coil back on?
I don’t think it matters what coil you have on. It is important to have a coil plugged in before powering up so you don’t damage the detector.

I saw a funny comment on another video that said the Xterra Pro update was called the Elite…
Ya the update is definitely not an Elite upgrade. The Pro is still a single frequency machine after the update.

dang, maybe you can borrow a computer from someone, it doesn't install anything, it's just a stand alone file you run.
