Hoping you are going to go through your rust treatment process. A lot of people swear by krust, waiting to see if you would prefer a remover or converter 🤙

Big sister being cool… I was a stepdad to 3 + 1 of my own and totally loved the different personalities, later they were all teenagers at the same time… love your work keep going

That sliding door inner repair panel are made for the other side…. You’ll find you’ll have to modify it to fit our uk left sliding doors as it’s back to front and they don’t make them for the left 🤦♂️ I had many hours of fun on these. I also have some dxf files plasma for the rear panel behind the bumper and where the rear door closed happy to email them over
I managed to get the right sided one mate, got it on ebay. Those dxf files would be really handy if you could email them. urchfab@hotmail.com I couldn't find that panel anywhere. Cheers Matt

Congratulations! You've bought some rust, with most of a van attached to it! Good luck chasing down all that rust - I'm convinced that Sprinters of that era came off the factory line rusty... Also, why is it when us blokes buy a camper van of some description, the first thing we have to do is strip it right back to the bare metal? Did the same myself 20-odd years ago...

when i saw the picture on the vid i was like ohw thats a rustbucket , youre right it isnt al that bad probably a month or so of work when i have time type of rustrepair and than doing the interior , curious to see how that goes as you cannot weld wood together

Now this is going to be interesting, being an older sprinter camper owner myself I have some of the rusty door bottom issues, should make an interesting build unlike some of the more brand new van instagram conversions

What just happened? Suddenly Matt with wisps of grey , a missus and 2 kids!!! Oh I know we all grow old, but in one episode? That was sudden! ...and worked really well! Great to see your confidence at a new level and continue to love the content. Really looking forward to see how the mini works out (old cooper s man myself - ahhh that car was so much fun but nearly killed me...) and I'm tipping that that is what the van is all about - can't leave em behind can you!

Although my trustworthy rust is made by VW(LT35)
Same chassis, and parts interchangeability(but NOT all)
Exterior panels are not the same but doors etc will fit from VW.
Soup Classic Motoring has just ‘finished’ the bodywork and paint on his..
Your compare knows his stuff and l would suggest a raise to help maintain the ‘mulletpocalype’ I don’t have one as I am 59 and going bald.. envy is a terrible thing.

Was unaware that repair panels for the door frame bottoms were available.. I need rears doors and side doors… and the bottom of the drivers door…

I'd rather have a older rusty merc like this than a newer sensitive 2016 transit like i got that keeps having problems and rusting it's only got 59k on it

Why not do a collaboration with Al from 6D diesels,he is a whizz with these.
