Happy Friday! Just so you know, there's a grip of us who can't make your streams, but are anxiously awaiting your new release. Don't think if your Twitch active viewer count is low, we don't come by and watch the stream recaps. Any chance you can give us a quick recap here from time to time though, would be greatly appreciated. I love to see them!
Another thing that might "hook" players onto a game is something you see in the first few FNAF games. There's some rare events implemented in the game that would only happen on a few playthroughs of it. Those rare events could make a player ask other players "did you see that??" and when the response is "no", that awakens a big curiosity in recreating that same event. Now of course that specifically depends on the type of game you make, but it's certainly an interesting hook especially for something that's more story-driven
Yeah as an indie dev you’ve got to have player choice impact the flow of your videogame imo. If some streamer plays an hour of your game and it’s the exact same experience every player will have it’s likely no one will buy it. You need a variety of outcomes to plant the seed of “well he did this*, but if I do that* what happens?”
What questions do you want me to answer in my next update? Come say hi over on twitch: www.twitch.tv/aarimous
Ive really been enjoying these day to day dev logs, very cool!
Hello World!
System.out.println("Hello World!");

Good point! I'll make sure to month devlogs where I shared a high level of the progress I make on stream.
Big fan, I hope great success and keep the video updates coming
Hola! It's great to see you update after this month 😊🎉🎉 so happy for youuuu
I definitely agree with getting right in the game. I really hate having to sit through videos or slow tutorials.
