I find German history incredibly fascinating because the Germans and Germany were always there, but at the same time not and always different like a shapeshifter. Summarized - Rejects Roman annexation - Teutons defeat Rome, are often slapped in the face, but Rome generally fails to subdue them Create an empire that wasn't really an empire but somehow lived for 1000 years - Very special and unique The Kingdom of Prussia and hundreds of German states gangsta! before being defeated by one of history's greatest generals. defeats the French, unite into a new Empire Get a colonial Empire Fights the whole world two times Gets divided again Reunites again and is not allowed to be strong again. Also, a few German inventions: - Incandescent lamps (Heinrich Göbel 1854) - The Telephone (Johann Philip Reis 1859) - Dynamo and tram (Werner von Siemens 1866) - The 35mm camera (Oskar Barnack 1925) - Nuclear fission and atomic bomb (Otto Hahn - while Nazi Germany emigrated to the Americans of course. Are they lucky the Germans exist - 1938) - The ship chart (Jürgen Dethloff and Helmut Gröttrub 1969) - Periodic Table (Julius Luther Meyer 1864) - Jeans (Levi Strauss 1873) - The recorder, player - with which the first films were possible (Emil Berliner 1887) - Aspirin - which all great athletes used to feel used to relieve pain and which saved countless lives (Felix Hoffmann 1879) - Spark plug (Robert Bosch 1902) - Thermos flask (Reinhold Burger 1903) - the toothpaste (Ottomar Heinsius von Mayenburg) - The coffee filter (Melitta Bentz) - Cassette recorder (Fritz Pfleumer 1928) - Teabag (Adolf Rambold 1929) - The jet engines - Indispensable for all jets and rockets + First war rockets V1, V2 of the Nazis (Hans von Ohain 1929) - The Helicopter (Heinrich Focke 1936) - The first car (Carl Benz - With honorary mustache - 1886) - Computers (Konrad Zuse 1941) - Fanta (During the Nazi era - and yes, this Fanta) - First 3D film (also during the Nazi era) - NASA (due to thousands of German engineers and thinkers that the Americans needed) - Typewriter (Peter Mitterhofer - 1864)

Survival of the fittest doesn't mean survival of the physically strongest, it means survival of the ones who fit in best in their environment. It's basically survival of the best adapted.
The sad truth is that most of the important innovations where first developed for the military...trough out all of history. A common household item, the microwave, was developed for use on submarines. It was around for about 20 years before it was declassified and made available to the public.

I also had a strong edible before watching this, live life and love/appreciate the ones close to you. Life is finite and there's no sequel.
You need to check out his other video ''The history of Japan''
He has already seen it. He told it near the end of the video.
@@devverma144 Seeing it and doing a video are different things. Can still share thoughts on it. Though, I'll do a search and see if he put a video out on it, don't recall though.
@@NitroCigarette He didn't. I meant he has seen it. Nothing more than that.
@@devverma144 I know you meant he has seen it, overall. I was mostly thinking out loud, about searching to see if he had done a video on it.
Bill Wutz is the man !!! It took a lot of work
You got a lot of indian fans good luck for this channel and keep doing it
It's literally 100 percent indians
Mrinal mitra fun fact he made this channel for non indians but u came here too.
@@abcdeeeeff literally 50% of this video is about India 😂
Kudos to the beautiful Lady for paying attention to every second of this vid and taking it all in. Such a joy to watch someone grasping this like I did the first time.

You haven't seen many people watch this huh?

@@RevsAndWheels I have no idea what are you talking about
He said "France and not-France" but what he meant was "Germany and part of Germany who doesn't knows it yet."
Greetings from Germany
"Holy Roman Empire. Which in fact is just germany but doesn't know it yet"
Greetings from France
You guys should react to "How space is way bigger than you think". Your reference to Pale Blue Dot made me think about it. I think you guys would get a kick out of it.
Oh wow, I thought this was over and done with in the react community. Glad that it isn't! Great reaction
@mario6506 then why are you here, go watch a fake reaction channel with some cartoon character as the host
@mario6506 Well to be fair the video goes so fast that you cant really react
@mario6506 They actually reacted a lot dum-dum
yeah I love watching that chick freak out to everything bill wurtz says
5:22 as soon as she heard it you could see the regret in her face

Imagine if you could make a career on UA-cam by just watching a video not saying anything unless something controversial is said or shown.
Hate less
You should watch his other channel. He don't just watch. He explains the video in detail, what he thought about it, what other might think, he compares it to other similar things(like he did in this video), etc. This video is just so heavy that in the end u can't think or comment much.
Well here we are
PersianPlatypus smile more don't let then know what you against or what your for.
Ella Bella you can’t be serious..
you wanna get ahead? fools who run their mouths off wind up dead.
Everyone's after Indian spices and gems, the golden bird
"That's over-simplification" he says about only _one_ moment in the entire video.
This really is the best reaction to this video on UA-cam. It really is. You both just devolve into 7 year olds trying to learn, yet maintain enough presence in the now to get the humor. Well done.
@GETJaby Watch "the universe is way bigger then you think," it talks about the carl sagan essay your talking about near the end of the video and is super interesting!!!!!
Quickest I've been to one of your videos ever.
I love how in the first halv They were excited and laughing and the second half They just stared 😂
Has Jaby done history of Japan yet?
No
why?
That video was even funnier. When Japan said to Russia "Can you maybe chill?", I totally lost it 😂😂
The woman's facial expressions is why we watch reaction videos
Fkn brilliant😂
You should see his History of Japan also.

When something is global and this interesting you can upload that in Jaby Koay channel...
I think it was author koester who said, "the most consistent sound which reverberates through the history of mankind is the beating of war drums".
Damn this has to be the best made video, ever!!
I love how you're like ":0" and laugh occasionally during the video-
Ahhhh the cringe guitar play in the beginning 😂.
Single most important sentence in all of history:

How have you not watched this yet!?? Bill Wurtz is an internet legend!
@18:55 Gandhi played a vital role in uniting the Indians but it was the Indian National Army led by Netaji Subash Chandra Bose which pushed the Brits out for good! Over simplified that part indeed!
High time the world starts recognising all the real heroes!
"If Britain doesn't get the hell out of India, I'm going to starve myself. Wow, that worked?"
"That's oversimplification!"
.....
.... and the rest of the video isn't!?
Fun fact about the blue dot image: Earth actually only takes up about a tenth of a pixel. Our entire existence reduced to a rounding error. And that was from only 0.00063 light-years away. The distance to Proxima Centauri, our second-closest star, is 3.9 light-years. It's obscene just how absolute huge space really is.
YOU GUYS LITERALLY HAVE THE BEST ADS OMG
This is like a last minute crash course an alien would see before landing on Earth

I find German history incredibly fascinating because the Germans and Germany were always there, but at the same time not and always different like a shapeshifter.
Summarized -
Rejects Roman annexation - Teutons defeat Rome, are often slapped in the face, but Rome generally fails to subdue them
Create an empire that wasn't really an empire but somehow lived for 1000 years - Very special and unique
The Kingdom of Prussia and hundreds of German states gangsta! before being defeated by one of history's greatest generals.
defeats the French, unite into a new Empire
Get a colonial Empire
Fights the whole world two times
Gets divided again
Reunites again and is not allowed to be strong again.

she’s extremely GORGEOUS
Did I just watch this video of the main video with people laughing in the background?

Survival of the fittest doesn't mean survival of the physically strongest, it means survival of the ones who fit in best in their environment. It's basically survival of the best adapted.
That video makes me sad more than happy, all of human history is more of a failure than important innovations etc
The sad truth is that most of the important innovations where first developed for the military...trough out all of history. A common household item, the microwave, was developed for use on submarines. It was around for about 20 years before it was declassified and made available to the public.

Probably the most accurate depiction of Martin Luther wanting to break away from the Church using his 95 Theses in criticism of the Catholic/ Universal church and thus one fo the big reasons for the Protestant Reformation. Good stuff.
Teachers:It takes years to master everything that the world has to offer
Bill Wurtz: *I am four parallel universes ahead of you*
