£1350 you can all way come down mate hope you have a lovely weekend with the family
Always love your videos very honest guy keep it up have a lovely weekend
That's a lovely little first car or cheap run about with genuine low mileage which should increase price a bit, you always do the decent thing with the cars well done Mark
Good work Mark always enjoy your videos.
Thanks John appreciate it buddy 👍👍
well done Mark it looks great
Thanks Stephen so clean someone is getting a lovely clean car 👍👍
Hi Mark as Chops garage says on you-tube the way you guys make things safe and roadworthy you can't sell these cars at less than certainly £1495 by looks of it to me with what you have done to it makes it worth £1695 at least
Great video and hope you have a wonderful weekend
Thanks David appreciate it buddy have a great weekend buddy 👍👍
I'don't give it a try at about £1500 tops and go from there. Might end up at £1000 - 1200. Great job as usual and first time doing a Peugeot
The car looks spot on now mark bang it up for sale you should be able to get rid of it in no time. £1200 no problem. Have a great weekend mate and see you on the next video.
Thanks Stephen mate it’s so nice and clean no one is going to knock me down because of dents or scratches there is nothing on this car have a great weekend buddy 👍👍
Great car mate job well done 👍
great car mate good job well done should sell that very easy
That’s a very tidy little car for someone to run around in Mark, I’d put it up for £1395 ovno 👍🏼
Thanks Dan appreciate it buddy not sure at the moment let’s see what I can get 👍👍
Mark in theory you could have unplugged the temperature sensor and bridged out the plug. If the gauge moves its the sensor and if not it’s the guage
Mark that’s a cracking car you we’re lucky no damage other than the bumper and the temperature was an easy cheap fix , it’s low mileage I reckon you should price it at £1500 That gives you room to consider offers a little lower . Good luck 🤞
Thanks buddy yeah I am going to do that I think start at £1495 see what happens have a good weekend buddy 👍👍
Result great content as always worth 1400 all day long 👍
Great video Mark, impressive job. Well done on the MOT. Think you will get £1000 to £1200 for it.
Thanks buddy yeah I was thinking that kind of money have a good weekend buddy 👍👍
If you ran the car and it wasnt blowing warm i would change the thermostat if it was blowing warm but the gauge didnt move i would change the sensor
Nice job and nice little motor as you say it’s very clean I would ask £2000 and negotiate from there good luck and have a good weekend 👍🏻
Thanks Alan appreciate it buddy have a good weekend 👍👍
Hi Mark £1600 all day long , its looking a lovely motor hope you sell it soon , have a nice weekend 👍
Thanks Michael appreciate it buddy have a great weekend buddy 👍👍
Have a great weekend 👍
the reason you used to have to bleed the furthest caliper/cylinder first was because they were tandem systems the reservoir being split front and rear so if you got a leak in the front you still had back brakes and visa versa nowadays they are piped up individually so you only lose one brake at a time,in the good old days if you got a leaj you had no brakes!
When i sold cars dual circuit brakes sometimes got mentioned as a feature! (A new car Mr Flintstone??)
It will make a nice little runner for someone
Thanks buddy someone already what’s to have a look I put it up for £1495 on Facebook market place 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Nice vid. I have the same problem on my 206 1,6 16 2002. Have changed, termostat, termp sensor, heater matrix and coolant. At first the gauge was perfect and steady, and cooling fan starting when showing around 100 deg, and working fine after restart, but after 2000 kms it all went bad. It started showing 70 deg to end up below zero. And now it moves up to 0 deg and then turns off and stays there. I have taken off instrument cluster and sprayed electrocleaner and contact spray. AFTER restart its the same. You have any sugestions? Thanks!
Looking good definitely worth 1400 I don't think people will be to bothered about it being cat n the car is mint condition 👍👍
Thanks Edward yeah so clean I pick up a nice one 👍👍
Did cooling fan come on when tempreture was in half
Wondering If you could help me out. I've just bought a pergeot 207 sports 1.4 for my first car drove it above 5 mile an suddenly got an engine temperature an told me to stop the car is actually overheating an not a dodgy thermostats. For your experience what could be the problem. Any help would be much appreciated
Mark, the peugeot is worth £1300 of anybody's money. Don't sell yourself short.
Thanks buddy ok will do 👍👍
Agree with previous comment... easily worth £1,300 ... tidy, low mileage motor. 👍
That’s Jon yeah think I will put up for £1300 I’ll let you know what it goes for 👍👍
Thanks for sharing this honest interesting post. Definitely a lovely car wort £1400 all day long 👍
Thanks John appreciate it buddy that’s how I am just being honest doing the work myself 👍👍
@@ResurwreckAutosUK I have a thermostat housing to do on my one but mines a diesel.
@@johnbarnes9379 the worst thing was getting the metal clip back in place on the back pipe 🥵🥵
Its worth about 1400 mate its a nice car for the age 👍
Hello, I have a Peugeot 207 1.4 petrol. In the city, when I drive, the temperature rises above 90 degrees, until the next line. All is well?
Hi Mark. Great Content.
As soon as you unboxed the new Thermostat. I immediately thought back to the bad old days and that Cooper S. 😢 (even before you mentioned the car on camera). I thought Noooo. Pain and Frustration, Don't do it. Take out the new temp sensor and try that first in place of the old one. Enjoy your weekend. See you in the next one.👍👍
Thanks Norman yeah that bloody Mini I did but saying that doing that mini help me sort out this Peugeot 👌👍👍
In current car sales climate of buying high and selling high that's got to be min £1250, I'd ask £1395, got to earn a wage on it.
Might not be long until your buying high and selling low, make most of fair deal now.
Ran four of those (Hdi) in 2000s in the driving school, great little cars.
Our family had the same issue with the thermostat, great car otherwise. That was before someone crashed into it at 40mph...
£1195 n prob end up taking a grand. It’s a good example but not most desirable. Good luck with the sale and fair play on the thermostat
Thanks Adam I put it up for £1495 and someone what’s to look at it Monday 🤞🏻🤞🏻I’ll let you know what happens 👍👍
Resurwreck Autos UK good luck
@@Connellski1986 Thanks Adam 👍👍
Looks a great car now Mark. Done a few of those thermostat housings on mini s that clip is a pain . Lovely colour nice condition low miles car . I did say 1195 the other day but you have turned it out real smart . Glad you changed the trims makes a big difference. I would say go for a bit more . Prices are high on second hand cars at the moment . You can always drop a price but never raise it once a customer starts to haggle . Try 1495 North south divide is different on car prices give it a go mate . On to the next one bud.
Thanks Richard yeah think I will go for something like that appreciate it buddy that clip my god 🤣🤣got it done 👍👍
Hello.
My son is looking for a cheap petrol polo. Fiesta.clio car can you keep a look out please .
Around £1500/£2500
Decent condition and not high mileage one
Hi buddy yeah no problem I’m looking at some next week you might be I. Luck 👍👍watch out for what I get next week
I would aim for 1300 to 1400 and is worth every penny
Thanks Michael appreciate it buddy have a good weekend 👍👍
Could you not just buy the temperature sensor as that is separate to the housing?
Hi Andy yes buddy but what if it was the thermostat all that work and take it apart again
@@ResurwreckAutosUK And I would be asking £1495 and accept offers. Nice little car.
£1795 and take 1500, clean car with lovely miles and the damage was a hoke.
That's easily worth a price of 1595 at least
Thanks Wayne let’s see what I get for it 👍👍
Hi mate, I have changed the termostat housing for the same car. Now the coolant light is flashing when it get to 90 degrees the mechanic said he had no idea 😢 could someone help me please
Thank-you
Hi mate did you change the temperature sensor
@ResurwreckAutosUK yes I did
@@lotodz805 I’ll get a second opinion take it to another mechanic
@ResurwreckAutosUK I will try to find a good one I've already spent £350 😢 this problem is very comment on this 207 Thank-you for your reply
Turned out nice mark £1200 all day
Thanks Martin appreciate it buddy 👍👍
Car looks good £1395 of any ones money Mark.
Thanks Chris already someone what’s. To look at it Monday it’s on Facebook market place 👍👍
Cracking little car at least worth £1,750 great for a first time buyer 👍👍👍
Thanks Henry think that price is too high let’s see what I get for it 👍👍
There worth a few quid more with the vti engine over the old 8v lump
Thanks for the info buddy it’s up for £1495 so I can come down a little 👍👍
The 8v TU engines are far better than the 16v
At a £1000 this is too cheap. Even though its Cat N the car is in really good condition. With a full MOT, a service and some history i think £1495 as an asking price is totally reasonable. I think you might be letting the grief you had with the Mini back in the early days is stopping you having faith in the car. Remember they were very popular for a reason!
Thanks buddy appreciate it it’s a very difficult one to price when never fixed or sold one before everything around £1250 I’ll be happy have a good weekend buddy 👍👍
hi mark make £1750 all day long low milage clean car zero damage really
Thanks Neil so clean this car I think it will make £1500 great car for someone 👍👍
Mark it’s a clean motor but your struggle at price people are saying. It’s worth about £1100.
Thanks Harry yeah I’ll be lucky to get anything over 1k let’s see 👍👍
@@ResurwreckAutosUK mark is this still for sale I have someone that wants it? I don’t have fb or Instagram
@@harryc3725 hi Harry some one is looking tomorrow it’s up for £1495 and it looks like he is happy paying that
@@ResurwreckAutosUK ok mate nice price good luck 😉
£1300. Or £1550 including cambelt and water pump.
Thanks Alex I think it’s a chain on this one 🤔nice one buddy 👍👍
