I love how brooks acts like a seasoned lawyer running into the most outrageous judge he has ever seen in his 30 years of practice.
Lmaooo
Had court on the 14th...we seen the most outrageous judge ever...I wish I recorded it...when the judge found out we were Christian, she immediately made an ugly face, we had evidence up the wazoo..and she absolutely ignored everything
Yeah that is a bunch of BS. 70% of Americans identify as christian so you got a 30% person that’s not a Christian. Please stop with the fake persecution.

which has been the entire trial. He has proven, by use of his own words,, he has no idea what he is doing. JUST ONCE did he bring a legit "leading the witness" objection and the Judge was obviously surprised he was correct. AFTER THAT, he has thought EVERYTHING his is doing is correct and in his favor, which is obviously the furthest thing from reality.
Dunning-Kruger effect in full force!
@Mark S I'm dieing for the Judge to say: You think you're talking to some punk on the street?!! I am the Judge & in control of this courtroom not you!!!
LoL
He keeps asking to face ‘the plantif’. The state of Wisconsin has the rightful status as plantif on behalf of all the deceased victims, and the injured victims. The defendant has violated their rights to live their lives free from violence and pain.
Dunning-Kruger is strong with this one.
Judge: *voluntarily provides detailed tutorial on court procedure so he has a fighting chance*
Brooks: "I object to that."
He has no chance whatsoever in a fair trial. His only hope is to make such a mockery of the trial that enough people on the jury feel they can't be sure of his guilt.
When the state finally objected, and they have let enough of these types of questions by him go through, and they finally objected and the judge did her job. The judge can’t do anything unless there is an objection.
@@MrBlack1968 I disagree the evidence will convict him not what the jury feels.

The Judge shouldn’t have to continually educate and explain “why” to this defendant. He isn’t a lawyer and the fact that he thinks he is smart enough to defend himself is laughable. He is constantly argumentative and so dense.

I think she's very aware and that's why she is being so patient.
As the saying goes: "I can explain it to you; I can't understand it for you."
How he refers to himself as “my client.” This trial is never ending…
That part actually makes sense. It was also a theme in a recent Michael Connolly novel. However, in that book, it was an accused lawyer representing himself.

I will never understand how sovereign citizen can say they are there as a third party representing their selves
Neither will they
They are claiming to represent themselves as the man and the person which is the legal name that is named as the defendant.
This is sovereign citizen 101. They all use this line When talking about themselves. One Bright spot about all of this Is that it Exposes the sovereign citizen movement And it's lunacy For what it is. Most people have never heard of these people before Until this trial. @@johnlyn1 even with your explanation, I'm still confused lol. 😕
Legal education is not provided to the defendant by a judge. Her rulings are solid. He should have his own lawyer
Which he refused and instead the murderer insisted on representing himself, despite the judge’s efforts to try to make him keep the attorney he initially had.
Any bets on if "Mr. Brooks" can make it through his trial without actually totally going off on someone, or everyone?
You can tell he is getting close to having a full blown 3-year old temper tantrum.
I said that this morning when the Judge was giving it right back to him.
He’s a third party intervenor, LOL!!
He already has and had to be removed to an adjoining courtroom where he continued to throw a tantrum.

Poor judge probably didn’t know how difficult he is…
I am nothing short of absolutely amazed by the honorable Jennifer dorow. She is the perfect exemplification of what a judge presiding over such a difficult case should be like. I am so incredibly thankful and grateful for her wisdom, her patience, and her understanding of the law. Extremely envious that you guys got a really good one up there in Waukesha. @@ronaldreaganrimjobs9327 please try to express yourself with decorum.
I’m gonna have to beg to differ. She’s lost all control.
If you're going to represent yourself in court, you should have to pass a test to see if you possess a basic knowledge of how the court system works and sign a document attesting that you will abide by the courts rules or be removed from your own council. Lawyers cant behave this way, why should he???????
I agree with this ^
He is only being allowed because of the unique circumstances of his case. The judge is putting aside her ability to punish him for the good of the public, to get him behind bars once and for all so that nobody outside of the judicial system ever has to see his face again.
@Ray Oflight but he claims to be a sovereign citizen . Do they have constitutional rights ? I truly don’t understand it . I’m confused
@@deew7014 in a nutshell they do believe in the bill of rights and constitution, but any laws that trample on it are invalid. so all other laws lol.
He is not allowed to behave this way. But, the judge has wisely allowed him to get away with much more than she needs to.
She has been keeping him from having major outbursts that might force a mistrial or support an insanity defense.
She has also given him a lot of extra latitude, so that any claim he later makes that he did not receive a fair trial will be soundly rejected by higher courts.
None of his antics are doing anything to hurt the chances of a conviction on all charges, so the judge and prosecution are tolerating some of them.
I love how he panically starts shaking his head like he's having a meltdown 🤣🤣
He doesn't realize that all the jury is seeing, even when the judge is so careful to send them out of the room, is a man who has no self control and loses his poop when he's told no.
He is starting to melt down. His charade of pretending to be one of the competent adults in the room is falling apart. He simply doesn’t understand basic ideas like hearsay and speculative. The solution to not understanding is to get a lawyer.

Absolutely! So thankful we have judges like her and many should follow her example. Absolutely nothing short of amazing! So grateful for judges like her.
That 3rd Party Intervener as he wants to be called is going to rot in jail!
Yeah, but if she's not careful, the judge is going to "patience" her way into a successful appeal. There is such a thing as "too nice" in these sorts of situations. It becomes increasingly likely every time she has these back-and-forths that an appellate court is going to say she either knew or should have known that he needed to be removed from the courtroom and had a public defender appointed (because of his refusal to follow courtroom procedure). It's a fine line.
@@jacksyoutubechannel4045 I thought that when a client decides to represent themselves, they give up any chance of appeal..? I could be mistaken. There could be stipulations. I know they give up something though when they choose to represent themselves.

@@timothyandrewnielsen If you understand how it works then you must realize this is exactly why it must continue as it has. It's specifically set up to deal with such cases and justice will prevail.
Yes!! agree.
Even those of us who are interested enough in cases/court video like this to WANT to watch all of the actual proceedings in the trial itself (instead of just a 2-minute summary on the 5oclock news) can't exactly dedicate 8 to 9 hours a day to watch the full stream... especially when there's probably more than one trial those individuals would like to follow in depth.
The 10-30min summary sections of big moments, important testimony, and significant interactions between the judge and either party in the trial are great. they condense things into something much more digestible and time sensitive for those of us following in-depth coverage... AND obviously there are five or six of those for each day of trial so if that's still too much for someone, then the next step down is the the short "what's happened so far/important moments recap" segments, which kind of tie all of those longer 'important moments' videos into a single, QUICK, easy to understand breakdown of the days happenings (and importantly, with a host from the network to bridge gaps and provide context between clips).
makes it a lot easier for the average non-trial Junkie type of person to watch and share and understand. It truly is fantastic and the network does an amazing job of covering all of these trials. Definitely commend them for their work and they're prompt uploading of trial videos.
***only complaint--I do wish the particular segments and wrap up videos and everything were maybe categorized, or labeled a bit better, or something, because things can feel kind of jumbled and confusing to navigate on the channel page for somebody who's a week or two behind and trying to catch up on what even if they do go to the specific playlist for this trial. but that's truly my only issue, and it's a very small one. Absolutely agree with you, 👍
