'Let it circulate' is correct, but what is ment in german is 'move you hips' in the sense of 'let loose, loose yourself in the Music.'
At the tempo change he is challenging the crowd to prove they can do that. Fantastic song when played to a crowd of 25k

a more adequate translation into english would be: let it swing ... even though the literal translation of "kreisen" means to circle, to go in circles

It was traditionally difficult to sing rock in the German language! The words and grammar can be either to long or difficult to put into a 4/4. It took Udo Lindenberg who drummed for the Beatles in Hamburg while they were between drummers, to bring rock-'n'-roll to Germany. Although he circumvented the pit falls by adding English words. The real change came with Herbert Grönemeyer who then pulled long German words into the next line to fit the melody. A 3/4 or even 2/4 is easier for our language. While there are German dialects that work! Bavarian works for Rockabilly and the Cologne dialect works for singer song writer stuff but high German needs to be modulated. Therefore this interesting bending over to fit the melody, I myself prefer to sing in English.

The bassist is Sophie Chassée since 2022. The former bass player Malte Huck left the band 2020, he wanted to go his own way, to start a solo career.
Since 2022 they have some very unique background musicians four wind instruments players and four strings player and seven of them are women. I really love this beside their great music. Listen to their "Proberaum Sessions", these are great. Love from Brandenburg / Germany.

It's all about rhythm because it's a song about dancing. The lyrics refer to the Covid pandemy. Being at home for such a long time, now everything should be let out. It's during carneval as the lyrics mention all the people with their costumes (masks). AnnenMayKantereit is from Cologne where carneval is celebrated extensively. 🎉

In my opinion the best songs of AMK are the five "Proberaum Session" which means rehearsal room session:
    - Ausgehen
    - Vielleicht vielleicht
    - Ich geh heut nicht mehr tanzen
    - 3 Tage am Meer
    - ...
    Greatings from Cologne.

    And here u go:
You don't have to say so much
You don't have to talk so much
You just have to move the way you want to again
You just have to move again, the way you feel right now
So many months alone, yes, I think everything was too much for you over the winter
Let it out, let it circle
Let it out, let it circle
Let it out, let it circle
I want to stand in the middle of the crowd
And see you through the crowd
I want to stand in the middle of the crowd, the lights are bright
And see you through the crowd, waste my money
To go down pleasantly in the mass of masked people
I want to lose control with you again
I want to lose control with you again
Let it out, let it circle
Let it out, let it circle
Let it out, let it circle
    In these strange times
And if you fall, I'll catch you
And when you fall, I'll catch you
And when you fall, I'll catch you
    And when you fall
Let it out, let it circle
Let it out, let it circle
Let it out (let it out), let it circle
Let it out (let it circle), let it circle
After so many months alone, you have to prove to me that you can still do it, dance 3x

Completely new group to me. He has an unusual voice, kind of gravelly. That last part seemed to be similar to a Caribbean beat. In a way, simple is better. There wasn't anything complex with the song, but like a good reggae song, it's simple but rhythmic, making you start toe tapping!

They are a pretty big group in Germany. They redid Tom’ Diner by Suzanne Vega and it went viral. Henning May thr lead singer has a Joe Cocker Bruce Springsteen type voice. Very catchy song.

@@bobcieslinski That’s one thing cool about the music world. Language is surpassed as the music becomes the language. I have tremendous respect for the old composers. Not only did they have to know all of the orchestral pieces, the entire symphony was in their head, no recording studio, and each instrument sheet music was hand written. One mistake and an instrument note would be off key or timing. Absolutely amazing what they did. One could imagine how prolific they could have been in today’s age.

@@guygourley2411for sure Guy. Those guys really knew their stuff. I’ve listened to and played many pieces and it’s mind blowing what they did and it’s transcended time. It would be interesting to see what they could accomplish with all of the technology we have today.

Wow, I didn´t noticed that you put it up just a few hours ago 🙂 I´ve had the pleasure to listen to this song with my youngest son about a month ago in Hamburg at a live show from AMK. But as you, I was instantly "killed" from that bass line at the start. I think despite it´s not a tough line to play that this might line up in about a decade in several YT videos from amateur bass players playing the 20 most famous bass lines... We´ll see. Have a nice evening

Here is a translation something you can understand...
There´s no need to say that much
There´s no need to play that much
I just what to see you move the way you will
I just want to see you to move you feel
Allthe winter time alone, I believe had made all unreal.
Leave it out, make your movin
Leave it out, make your movin
Leave it out, make your movin
I want to stand between the crowd
and watch you see your movin
I want to be part of the cloud to see your shining grooving
I want to be part of the cloud and make the money moving
Burn with you in the crowd of covered faces
And loose control with you in all time spaces
And loose control with you in all time spaces
Leave it out, make your movin
Leave it out, make your movin
Leave it out, make your movin
In this weird times of groovin
I hold you when you fall, no worrys you at all,
I I hold you when you fall, no worrys you at all,
I hold you when you fall, no worrys you at all,
I hold you when you fall
Leave it out, make your movin
Leave it out, Leave it out, make your movin
Leave it out, make your movin, make your movin
After all that time, proved it with this chance, dance!
