Lmao me too! I started wearing make up again in 2021. The fun part is that most of time I wear makeup (and try out more extravagant looks) when I plan to spend the entire day at home, but when I have to go out, I'm too lazy to wear it lol
I would say the recession and inflation are playing a big part. It’s just like back in 2008, people put aside luxuries to focus on surviving and getting through it. So, I have a feeling that’s played a huge role in it.
Exaclty. That means that influencer culture will eventually comeback in 4 years or so when recession improves. People will want big luxury items again.
These influencer brands crack me up honestly. They're a dime a dozen. No way I'm paying "prestige brand" prices for these overnight products. And I guess I was ahead of the curve because I've been more concerned with skincare than makeup since like 2018. I've never bought one thing from any of these flash in the pan brands. James Charles may as well cancel his brand, he missed the prime time and honestly no one cares. I seriously doubt his brand would succeed.
honestly i think patrick starrs one size brand will be fine in terms of influencer brands. I know a lot of people, including makeup artists, swear by those products. personally i believe it has built a solid reputation as just simply a really high quality makeup brand with the makeup as the selling point instead of only the influencer who founded it
I mean the products are actually pretty good quality at least the blushes and eyeshadows. But, it doesn’t feel like it’s just using a big name to bring in sales at least not anymore lol
I personally never thought that a single influencers brand would live up past 5-10 years. Especially if the brand name is their own name. They are influencers, they're hype always dies down and they only end up mattering to those who were there to seem them rise up to their peak popularity.
When will people learn to differentiate between there, their and they’re? You don’t say ‘they are hype’, so why even use ‘they’re’? Make it make sense.
The current cost of living crisis has made people more mindful of how they spend their hard earned money. Paying for overpriced low quality products just because they have an influencer’s name slapped on them is just not worth it.
It's crazy to me how fast influencer culture dwindled down after JS/JC/Tati drama. Influencers went from making dozens of millions with one launch to not making enough to stay afloat. Shits crazy.
I’ve seen them all in tj maxx including morphe and Jaclyn’s brand. It’s so wild… I feel like there is an over saturation in the market and it’s finally correcting itself unfortunately
His stuff is an inkey list collab and a lot of inkey list stuff is hitting tj maxx lately and glossier. I don’t mind it because I love tj maxx. Just inspect what you buy carefully.
it’s so crazy that item beauty got dropped because her lip oils went viral and completely sold out and everyone on beauty tik tok was loving it but i will say if ulta drops Charli’s perfume line i will be pissed i get so many compliments on it and it smells amazing!
The problem with a lot of these brands is that they might go viral, they might be internet famous, or famous in the beauty community, but the brands don't stick. They need to become popular with the average consumer, people who don't know or don't care about the influencer behind the brand. They also need to be good at promotion and have other products relevant to the current market to make enough to support it, not just have one product constantly selling out while the others gather dust on the shelf. Last I heard tho, Item is still selling off their website. The brand still might find another home somewhere else to be available in stores.
@@frumtheground I feel like Fenty is a perfect example of a success story so i know its possible but these tiktok stars also don’t have the same cultural reach yknow😭😭 like they’re barely famous releasing low quality products and relying on one hit wonders
MAC and Loreal and all the other staple brands are laughing in their face right now. brands like that have been in business for decades and probably saw this coming. The influencers shouldve asked for tips 😮
Item Beauty appearing non stop in Ipsy bags told me something was up with brand. Subscription boxes normally get the old end of line products or brands that are finishing.
I feel like some of the big reasons why influencer brands are starting to fall off is because mostly everyone already has their "go to" and it most likely is one of the very big companies like Neutrogena or NYX or elf. It could also be the fact that the title of "Influencer" is starting to really be looked down upon especially in the beauty world. Another reason could be of financial issues, influencer make a lot of money but maybe not enough to stabilize their brand or their end of the partner ship. Also, inflation
Inflation is a big part if not the main. Regular people cant afford the same lifestyle or are getting depressed also. So much going on in peoples personal lives they dont have time to keep up with the influencers
Since the lock down more minimal makeup has become a popular look, then with inflation we’re even more incentivized to not go out and splurge on makeup. Plus, the height for influencers garnering massive attention for makeup brands was like 2015ish, and as the years have gone by so much has changed with regards to how people view influencers and drugstore makeup, I don’t think how people view and purchase makeup will ever be the same.
Influencer brands have always felt untenable as a long term thing. Trends change, people move on. Especially because influencer culture is such a BUY BUY BUY way of doing things. With the cost of eggs being what they are, when am I ever gonna splurge on a palette? lol
What I learned so far about all of this that’s been happening in the beauty community is “if it comes fast, you’ll lose it fast”. There’s a better quote like what I said but I forgot lol. Or..”easy comes, easy goes”.
They aren’t. They’ve even resorted to selling supplements and s-x toys, so they’re desperate to get cash from other sources besides makeup and skincare sales.
My girl.i just finished your video from yesterday and I then this video pops up. I screamed! You are the only drama channel I ever watch!! Yes girl keep me in tea!

@@Deenique16 And that's not totally true. The real problem with tourists is that the majority of them go to other places to buy real estate, while causing increasing in the prices for the locals. And from social medias I've noticed that the people who created this pattern and are still doing it are Americans. Of course not every american, but the majority for sure. And my mistake - I won't call the people who do this tourists, they're another cash grabbers.
I remember when everyone was coming out with makeup brands, especially the influencers and celebrities. A lot of them felt like cash grabs rather than passion projects they cared about. The oversaturation plus people being over the flashy, luxurious flexing of influencers is the perfect storm to kill these brands, and honestly I’m not too upset. There were far too many anyway
I cant stand the influencer brands. They make me so angry. I tried so hard to start my own brand knowing i had no support. 😢 How do they have success and i couldn't even get help with start up? It's not fair and i hate them.
I never bought anything from them just wasn't my thing plus I happened to very picky of how I would be purchasing of my stuff most of is pat McGrath or natasha denona than other pallet brands that have "really good pigments" but really didn't when swatch and crumbly and looked like chalk colors not butter shadow so smooth as well pigmented .I would of bought if some would felt more comfortable and pigmented when I would swatch at stores plus morphe stores were rude to customers so intitled I never understood totally saw that they were going to break down hill years ago so surprised no .
Nope. I haven’t either. I was tempted to buy one of Kylie’s lip kits when those came out but I’m so glad I didn’t 😂 all I wear is mascara now and I don’t care
As someone who spent an absurd amount of money on makeup during the golden era of youtube beauty channels, I now have more eye shadow palettes and high lighters and lipsticks than 1 person could possibly use. The only time I even buy new makeup anymore is when I run out of something like foundation or mascara, and I usually just stick with my favorite products by trusted brands rather than trying something different. IMO, the makeup market was already pretty oversaturated before the pandemic, and COVID was the nail in the coffin for all these newer brands that showed up late to the party. The only influencer/celebrity owned makeup brands that I think will remain profitable long term are the brands that were already established and respected before 2020, like Fenty. Rare Beauty probably has a fighting chance too, since they developed a strong following before too many other celebrity brands jumped on the bandwagon and it seems like people still really love their products. But for the most part, I think it's a more financially safe decision for celebrities and influencers to go back to doing high-profile collaborations with beauty brands who already have a strong foothold in the industry, rather than starting their own brands.
Hyram and James Charles had a peculiar way of speaking hyping up everything even if it was nothing above average. Now when I look back at these clips I realize how he spoke to manipulate people into buying these high end brands 😢
Just throwing this out there…what if Nikita had an episode when she was arrested because she found out that Morphe was slowly going under and that meant it would be a huge blow to her company? As someone with bipolar, sometimes having that one thing can push you to a terrible episode.
All this oversaturation of the market and I still can't find a product I've been looking for. All I've ever wanted was a Covergirl Outlast lipstain dupe! Since I haven't found that, I'm excited to see the market changing.
Lip stains aren’t that popular any more, so it’s understandable that you haven’t found a dupe. Right now glosses are popular, so you might find a gloss version out there.
There are other brands I trust as well, but those are def the main celebrity makeup brands I buy regularly. When I wear makeup, my whole base is Fenty and Rare, my eyes and lips are usually Halsey’s About Face line, which I also love.
I used to shop at sephora only but I basically stopped buying from them because honestly drugstore is better!! Brands like milani, NYX, cover girl and more have stepped up their game i recently stocked up on new makeup on sale at target for like $1-$5 !! And at Walgreens crazy cheap makeup and they are actually amazing products I found some favorites 😌
I am genuinely asking, there's some sephora stores in my country, is that normal if their shop assintants rude to their costumers? I never like to enter their store because 1. the price are too expensive, 2. the shop assistants gave a nasty face sometmes.
As a 22 year old mom who has a rental with her boyfriend and roommate and kid , I can guarantee you the economy is a big part. People are not willing to spend money everytime an influencer dose their line, especially when you can't stock your house with groceries without spending between 200-275 dollars of food so everyone can eat. It's not feesable
I'm happy for the influencers who have launched their own brands throughout the years! For me personally, I am supporting smaller businesses from around the world and sticking to the products that still works for me to this day as well. :)
I cant stand the influencer brands. They make me so angry. I tried so hard to start my own brand knowing i had no support. 😢 How do they have success and i couldn't even get help with start up? It's not fair and i hate them.
Some brands are actually decent quality though, even if i don’t like the influencer themselves. I’m thinking Patrick Star, Manny MUA and even Laura Lee. I have purchased Patrick,s products and Mannys eyeshadows. Manny did let himself down by not proving complexion products in enough shade ranges to cover deep & dark skin tones. But apart from that, i really like his eyeshadow formula.
I’m glad I have never been influenced by the so called influencers. None. Zero desire to buy their “hyped, viral, etc” brands. Drugstore brands are actually good & can be more effective for your skin. Just saying from my own personal experience. 🤷🏻♀️
Its really bad that some of these brands only have a life of 1 - 4 years. I wish they would just say it's like a capsule collection or collaboration with X brand, so that when it does fail or decline it wouldn't seem so bad.
This is ALL high end makeup. And it’s a combination of things, but I think the main factor is that drugstore makeup has closed the gap between high end and low end makeup! No one has to spend all their “coin” to look good anymore 😂 Y’all can blame Maybelline, Loreal, and Elf cuz they really did that shit 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
For me personally, I've been turned off of high end brands, which includes a lot of influencer brands, because of the culture around them. Sephora employees are extremely rude to customers that do not fit in with their standards. I would rather spend my money on affordable brands that I know the quality of, and purchase them from a retailer that makes anyone feel welcome.
I used to be obsessed with makeup pre pandemic. I’ve been WFH for almost 3 years now and only wear makeup 10-20x a year as opposed to everyday. The last thing I’m trying to spend my hard earned money on right now is some makeup I’ll barely use.
I've noticed the huge difference in long term value when it comes to genuine youtubers and their reviews, rather than influencers. I always find influencers cringe and somehow I don't trust anything they recommend, because I know it's either sponsored, or quick cash grab for them. But there are poeple I watch on youtube for years, and when they recommend some food, makeup or clothes I know I can rely on honest and good review.
I cant stand the influencer brands. They make me so angry. I tried so hard to start my own brand knowing i had no support. 😢 How do they have success and i couldn't even get help with start up? It's not fair and i hate them.
Idk, I feel like influencers and celebs will just move onto a different market. I remember in the early 2000s when everyone had a perfume. Jessica Simpson had an entire line of perfumes and lotions that were supposed to be edible. Then celebs starting doing clothing collabs. Even Amanda Bynes had one at Steve & Barry’s and Miley Cyrus had one at Walmart. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is just the latest celebrity marketing trend and they all move on to something else in the next couple years
I think that actually the downfall comes from the fact UA-cam isn't that big anymore. In UA-cam you actually connected to the influences and felt like you had to buy their products, but in tiktok it is just harder to connect and to justify spending so much money.
That’s CRAZY I completely forgot the drama about the bail money and her manager lagging on picking her up and if I remember correctly two fans started arguing over who picked her up or something like that ???? Idk but some shit happened I remember that
They also have way larger long term fan bases. Also better teams and ppl working for them in general. They can put way more into marketing and selling.
James def missed his opportunity. By like 5 years lol It's not 2018 where we was at his peak. I honestly forget he exists until someone comes forward with allegations every couple of months...
Bro I’ve just been buying Korean brands for years and they have quality ingredients and effects with decent prices. With international free shipping nowadays I just buy everything at once and use it all slowly for a long time. Really has been my go-to for the past several years.
It’s also issues with Sephora, it’s difficult to keep up with them being an “indie” brand, they require an amount of stock that it’s difficult for the brands. Farsali owner explained it in some Tik Toks a few months ago on why they decided to move on from Sephora
Kind of saw it coming in the case of Morphe. I worked for Pier 1 as my first job, and at that time the e-commerce side of retail and sales was just starting. My store was a flagship store for online sales and eCommerce business. We were told then that online shopping would be the way of the future and eventually we would no longer need nor have brick and mortar stores. Look where Pier 1 is now. You will never find a store anywhere anymore however you can still shop online from their website. So with Morpe opening a bunch of brick and mortar stores very quickly, seemed like a very risky business decision, especially when some of those stores were opening during the pandemic. As someone that works in retail, I know the companies that I worked for would not have survived if it was not for e-commerce sales. As far as influencer brands, it takes a lot to keep them running. All it takes is one bad word, and that's a wrap. And no company whether they're just starting out or not is going to want to support that bad press. Plus, who's going to want to spend hundreds of dollars on makeup when the price of eggs is skyrocketing through the roof???? I don't know, I'm just saying between inflation, the pandemic, and other influencer drama, some of these makeup lines were bound to just cease to exist.
Item beauty was 40-50 percent off when I ordered some stuff. I got some from Sephora and some from the item beauty site. Those from the Item beauty site shipped from IPSY. The blush is pretty.
I love your drama videos. I don't watch any of these people or know most of them as I really just find the business side of it so fascinating. Please please do more videos leaning into the business education and market trends you're showing. Its honestly innovation how you've turned a gossipy drama channel style into a somewhat educational and informative business! Keep it up girl can't wait to see what your future holds!!
Let’s also not forget how many of us now prefer a more “natural “ makeup approach! That’s why I stopped selling makeup because we all now want that clean girl look
Rare Beauty and Makeup By Mario are the only two beauty brands that are genuinely worth the money and i'll happily buy. The james charles palette was also lowkey one of the best palettes i'd ever tried.
J* eyeshadow formula was honestly incredible, but he's too problematic to support. I'll also never support Selena Gomez for basically pressuring someone to give her their kidney and then going right back to alcoholic partygirl lifestyle, physically abusing an ex and then playing on being an abuse victim for clout, and just all around seeming like a totally nasty person under the copious layers of PR.
@@Joog0444 Domestic violence is a crime. Cheating is not. But all the Selena stans just look away when she reveals herself to be a shit person who takes advantage of people and treats them badly.
It's important to say: in American context, because in Brazil, Sephora continues to sell our influencers products like: Bruna Tavares, Mari Maria and Fran Elk.
And some influencer makeup has been stepping up in our own makeup scene that makes other famous local brands to catch up on them. Bruna Tavares, Boca Rosa Beauty and others made huge changes in the way Brazilians care about makeup.
Selfless by Hyram is now being sold at Target, which I think is awesome and a great place to be to hit the big markets. Not a downgrade and not doing bad.
before pandemic I'd go crazy to get all shades of a product i like.. but after seeing them go to waste and unable to use make up, it changed my spending habits. No I just buy 1 and that's it
Wait Is the inkey list really the “fast fashion” of skincare? What about The Ordinary? I’ve always been under the impression that they just provide basic skincare staples at affordable prices. I’ve used a few of the inkey list items and the ordinary (and finished the whole bottles/tubes) and LOVED them.
I’m not really sure! I’ve never heard of them before tbh I just saw a lot of the criticism was around him collabing with them and that was the main point people were bringing up.
Yes,lol. The Inkey List actually doesn’t have great reviews, and they create products around a trending ingredient to garner hype and attention. Their succinic acid treatment is an example of this. When succinic acid was trending people rushed to buy this treatment, but many found it to not be as good as salicylic acid or even made their acne worse. The Ordinary however, creates affordable products based on science. Their luxury brand Niod is the same, minus the cheap part. I don’t like The Ordinary’s products, but the do have better standing than the Inkey List.
Honestly I used to be very into acquiring makeup but I just dont do my makeup as much anymore. Also, during the makeup boom from 2016-2019, I found the products I love and want to continue using. Why would I keep trying new brand after new brand when I have reliable choices that I'm comfortable investing my hard earned money into?
I got items from item beauty in my ipsy bags and I actually kinda like them since they were cheaper lol. The blushes are my favorite for when I'm not doing a full face of makeup
I never got the hype around influencer brands. To me, they always looked like a bunch of cheap, unbranded makeup items that were private-labeled and sold as whatever influencer’s “brand.” There are a small number of exceptions, but it seems pretty obvious which ones are quality products vs. overpriced cash grabs.
It's the end of an era. These influencer brands could only last so long being built on specific people and their reputations and personalities.
Exactly. They were never truly meant to be long term businesses, but a quick cash grab.

That Nikita palette in the thumbnail... jumpscare💀
His Morphe collab didn’t do well either, so not sure why he thinks it’ll be different this time around.
Sort of happy he missed it lol, considering his reputation.
Preach!
Right. It's all private label with different packaging. I'll pass.
honestly i think patrick starrs one size brand will be fine in terms of influencer brands.
The setting spray and primer is awesome I highly recommend
I love his products. It feels more solid
@@christinabarnes8617 I have the setting spray and power love thtm both
Didn't he started his brand when he wasn't that known? And i think it isn't dependable of other major companies like other influencers brands
I personally never thought that a single influencers brand would live up past 5-10 years. Especially if the brand name is their own name. They are influencers, they're hype always dies down and they only end up mattering to those who were there to seem them rise up to their peak popularity.
same as kylie cosmetics
James Charles, Jeffrey Star… all flushed down the drain… good riddance
When will people learn to differentiate between there, their and they’re? You don’t say ‘they are hype’, so why even use ‘they’re’? Make it make sense.

The current cost of living crisis has made people more mindful of how they spend their hard earned money. Paying for overpriced low quality products just because they have an influencer’s name slapped on them is just not worth it.
It's crazy to me how fast influencer culture dwindled down after JS/JC/Tati drama. Influencers went from making dozens of millions with one launch to not making enough to stay afloat. Shits crazy.
Maturing is realizing that influencers are vacuum salesmen
I’ve seen them all in tj maxx including morphe and Jaclyn’s brand. It’s so wild… I feel like there is an over saturation in the market and it’s finally correcting itself unfortunately

it’s so crazy that item beauty got dropped because her lip oils went viral and completely sold out and everyone on beauty tik tok was loving it but i will say if ulta drops Charli’s perfume line i will be pissed i get so many compliments on it and it smells amazing!
@@frumtheground true they rlly don’t have longevity
Yep 🎉
@@tiahnarodriguez3809 yea i havent been wearing makeup like that like i used to, i notice
There is one for fashion too that I feel fits from Project Runway. "One day you are in and the next day you are out".
IMO Sephora doesn’t seem to be doing so well themselves…
They aren’t. They’ve even resorted to selling supplements and s-x toys, so they’re desperate to get cash from other sources besides makeup and skincare sales.
Hmm the pandemic hurt a lot of companies but I think Sephora is good.

Thank god Hyram is pretty much done. There’s no way I’m using skincare by someone who isn’t a dermatologist or esthetician.
I mean Hyram is being sold in Target now.
Hyram is a specialist
I remember when everyone was coming out with makeup brands, especially the influencers and celebrities. A lot of them felt like cash grabs rather than passion projects they cared about. The oversaturation plus people being over the flashy, luxurious flexing of influencers is the perfect storm to kill these brands, and honestly I’m not too upset. There were far too many anyway
I cant stand the influencer brands. They make me so angry. I tried so hard to start my own brand knowing i had no support. 😢 How do they have success and i couldn't even get help with start up? It's not fair and i hate them.
Is it bad that I never bought any of these influencers make up products?
Why would it be bad...
You said he would manipulate people into buying high end brands. Did you mean Hyram or James? Or both ?
Just throwing this out there…what if Nikita had an episode when she was arrested because she found out that Morphe was slowly going under and that meant it would be a huge blow to her company? As someone with bipolar, sometimes having that one thing can push you to a terrible episode.

I've been finding finding these brands (Morphe, Dragun, etc) in TJMaxx months ago (where brands go when they die).
Mine has Fenty, I was so shocked
They also have glossier, benefit, Clinique and tarte so sometimes it’s just where leftover items go after it’s season
I have seen Bobbi Brown, Nars, Marc Jacobs, MAC, ABH, it mostly
is discontinued items
All this oversaturation of the market and I still can't find a product I've been looking for. All I've ever wanted was a Covergirl Outlast lipstain dupe! Since I haven't found that, I'm excited to see the market changing.
Lip stains aren’t that popular any more, so it’s understandable that you haven’t found a dupe. Right now glosses are popular, so you might find a gloss version out there.
If by a lipstain/tint you mean like benefit's benetints, try korean brands since lip tints are very popular there
Only makeup brands that I can trust with my heart are Fenty beauty and Rare beauty
There are other brands I trust as well, but those are def the main celebrity makeup brands I buy regularly. When I wear makeup, my whole base is Fenty and Rare, my eyes and lips are usually Halsey’s About Face line, which I also love.
@@andreaxxxedge yeah i also generally trust Haus Labs by gaga and Halsey’s brand - not sure about REM beauty by ariana since i never did fully try it

Economically and Business Wise, these "influencers" brands would never last longer than 10 years.
Its crazy to see how far we’ve come. Heck I remember when this channel was only text over a colored background and we were talking about Laura Lee 😂
I literally made myself some tea just now lol going to sip it and watch the tea you spill!!
Great video! Seems like times are changing, like they always do, hope these influencers put some money away for a rainy day.
I'm glad One Size is still thriving and Patrick is not inserting himself in any of these dramas.
Its really bad that some of these brands only have a life of 1 - 4 years.
I wish they would just say it's like a capsule collection or collaboration with X brand, so that when it does fail or decline it wouldn't seem so bad.
This influencers era was trending back in 2018-2020 later on it became irrelevant.
Nyx
The rising cost of everyday life has caused me to cut down or eliminate many beauty products. It's sucks 😞.
I'll just be stickin with Fenty, Elf, and Color pop for all my things lol. Never bought influencer makeup and never will.
Dragun beauty was never up in the first place to tell" its fade away"
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is just the latest celebrity marketing trend and they all move on to something else in the next couple years
I specially remember the Britney Spears parfumes, I even bought a bottle, it was so cute but damn the parfume was nasty, thinking about it now.
They already have. Now its skincare.
We're assuming an upcoming tea video regarding James Charles pretty soon. 💀
Nah, in my country, the local drugstore products stepped up their game and the quality is now rivalling some high-end make-up products.
Idk but some shit happened I remember that
I feel as though people are tired of influencers themselves. It's been so much and so many. Leaving some light-hearted ones. I hate them
i wonder how actual celebrity brands will stand. selena and rihanna seem to actually care about their customers tho
💯
Bro I’ve just been buying Korean brands for years and they have quality ingredients and effects with decent prices. With international free shipping nowadays I just buy everything at once and use it all slowly for a long time. Really has been my go-to for the past several years.

It’s also issues with Sephora, it’s difficult to keep up with them being an “indie” brand, they require an amount of stock that it’s difficult for the brands. Farsali owner explained it in some Tik Toks a few months ago on why they decided to move on from Sephora
Oversaturation, lack of transparency, pandemic and inflation.
Celebrities and influencers are walking billboards for brands, but they will become their scapegoat too when shit hits the fan….
Item Beauty is having a store wide 40% sale for EVERYTHING . They might be going out of business.
Item beauty was 40-50 percent off when I ordered some stuff. I got some from Sephora and some from the item beauty site. Those from the Item beauty site shipped from IPSY.
The blush is pretty.
For me it's a mix of inflation and needless influencer brands

It's important to say: in American context, because in Brazil, Sephora continues to sell our influencers products like: Bruna Tavares, Mari Maria and Fran Elk.
And some influencer makeup has been stepping up in our own makeup scene that makes other famous local brands to catch up on them. Bruna Tavares, Boca Rosa Beauty and others made huge changes in the way Brazilians care about makeup.

I’m confused, too. Like…isn’t affordable skincare (which people use up way more and way quicker than makeup) a good thing?
I mean I'd call big drug store brands the fast fashion of skincare.. not an indie brand?
I love both brands, they're so good and affordable!
I knew item beauty wasn’t working out well even for a new influencer brand when I kept seeing it in boxycharm 😶
I don't think I would pay full price though 😂
I never got the hype around influencer brands. To me, they always looked like a bunch of cheap, unbranded makeup items that were private-labeled and sold as whatever influencer’s “brand.” There are a small number of exceptions, but it seems pretty obvious which ones are quality products vs. overpriced cash grabs.
